I was under the impression that since Mar has 2 points of armor he simply absorbs the hit without needing a harm roll? If I'm wrong lemme know and I'll still make the roll, though I'll need to know the modifier for it. My experience in AW is kind of rusty when it comes to combat honestly.

You are correct. I'd still like to know what Mar is doing though.

Whelp that's a roll I don't think I'll ever see again. Also I'm marking experience for using my Hard.

I feel that now is a good time to mention that Mar is a character I've actually played before, in my first AW game. He was a battlebabe in that but the basic principles are the same. Namely that he rolled like a motherfucking tank somehow.

Good to see that some things are still holding true for now at least.

Good roll. Fetish is a character I created for Croaker's very short-lived attempt at AW.

Just so everyone knows I'm waiting to post until Zachol posts with whatever he wants Doc to have Mar do, if anything.

By the time Doc got over to Fetish, her eyes were already starting to flutter open. She had taken a bad graze across her temple, but it didn't look like any of the bullets were still in her.
Sorry it wasn't more explicit.

Cool. I thought that's what that meant but didn't want to jump the gun.

Rhyme has nothing additional to say or do, so feel free to move forward.

This is something I've been wondering about personally, and I guess I just wanted to clarify it with out GM Darius here. For "Reading a Sitch" I was taught (when I first learned AW) that it was for when the situation was "charged". IE you used it when trouble had started or just beforehand.

I've got nothing against using it as a more...general perception check? But I supposed I wanted to clarify on which situations it was appropriate for and which ones it wasn't.

Personally I think we've got some quiet tension going on here but I could easily be wrong.

By using Read a Sitch, z has told me that the situation is charged. So there is something out there that you need to be on the lookout for. In this case it is pretty appropriate, because you know that there is probably someone or something down there, and trouble is likely to happen pretty soon.

Mar is using a shotgun to kill the scout. There is nothing quiet and unnoticeable about it. You don't want to be heard? Pick a different weapon.

That said, the scout is going to find life challenging as a fine red mist. Expect a post tonight.

I was hoping that since the weapon lacked the "loud" tag it might not be noticeable but if that's not the case I'll settle for no one quite knowing where the sound came from if that's alright.

After all his other weapons are a machine gun and Molotov so Mar isn't really packing in the "silent" department.

The loud tag is automatically included with "messy." Which the shotgun is. Very.

That said, Mar is travelling with two people who are carrying relatively silent weapons (Fetish and Rhyme).

Hey guys,

Things have begun to heat up at work, and I'm finding it hard to get any time to update here or in zachol's game. It's going to get even worse in the next 3 months, as our entire complex is moving to a new building at the beginning of April.

So, unfortunately, I'm going to have to bow out. I just can't keep up with either game.

Hey, I think all (or at least most of us) have been in that same boat. Thanks for taking the time to tell us at least, it's much more appreciated than you simply disappearing. Hope everything works out well for you and we'll see you when and if you com back.

Thanks for letting us know Marcus.

Everyone: want me to see if I can find a new player? They wouldn't be taking over Mar (I'll NPC him until the end of the current encounter, then he'll wander off into the wilderness for a time).
