Ah... It's hard to see going on without Bra'kan too. Well it is the christmas season and alot of peoples schedules get more busy this time of year. Maybe it'd be best to wait. I was just hoping to squeeze another one out before I ship, but I'd hate to move on without you too noo.

Of course....we could do a three person scenario? jimx - you out there?
If not, we could run one with Almego and Mirko and an NPC ran by me.

The only thing is I don't know if we can squeeze it in before the Christmas holidays.

I'm still here. I don't think I got on Friday, and I KNOW I wasn't on during the weekend. But I'm game. I'll use Veit, 'cause I got the most attachment. My schedule hasn't really picked up, but I do have slightly less time now-a-days. Benicus moved and doesn't have internet, so that slowed done just about all the games I'm in.

Moving and being w/o internet???
IN-CON-CEIVABLE!

Hey Bel - how 'bout something like > "Mirko awakes to a crash as the window to the room in which he is sleeping, bursts open bringing half of the wall with it! The barbarian lurches to his feet and sees a reptilian head in the breach of the wall. CRONK! the dinosaur bellows and then a voice is heard from somewhere behind its head, saying, "Vengeance on the humans for the life of Shaman Dripwizzel!!"

How's that for just throwing Mirko in there?

I'm game for whatever way you'd like to play it coffee. Almego is ready to get the last 900 or so experience that I need for 4th level.

You called down the thunder!

Well, alright fellers! If you want it, you got it! Let me get cracking on it for a couple of days - going out of town for the weekend - so except a quick post by next Monday (if not by this Friday morning ). That will give us about a week and a half to do the scenario before I leave out for TN/VA for the Christmas holidays.
In the meantime, your characters are in Leilon - need some background info or are you content to just hang loose and wait for the post?

A tad bit of info would be nice, if it wouldn't take you too much trouble. Other than that, I can wait.

Leilon, I have no clue where that is. I could just summon my giant centipede and make them tell me whatever I need to know though. Would that give a bonus to my Intimidate or Gather Information check?

Depends if anyone saw you on the Intimidation factor!
And depends upon what kind of information a centipede might give a feller.

I'll get some info out tonight or tomorrow.

No I just use the centipede to intimidate someone into giving me the information I need (which direction to a brothel, tavern and other such entertainments).

This just in...

I think......I've made...(gulp)...a mistake.
Yeah, I know, I couldn't believe it either. Must be the eggnog.

Okay fellers, here's the deal: during my research of Leilon this morning (been hard at work today, yessir! ) I discovered several maps of the area and realized that your group is actually several miles south of the town of Leilon.
Quick rehash: the Orca ran aground on the Red Rocks and you fought lizardfolk in the Mere of Dead Men. Then you were "rescued" by the Lances of Leilon. End of scenario 4.
Well, according the maps I've been perusing, Leilon is actuallly several miles North of where the Orca ran aground, thus making it impossible for you to be rescued by the forces from Leilon.
However, there is a stronghold nearby that I will use to adjust the scenario ending and move you into scenario 5. Clear as mud?

Now, you might be wondering why all the trouble for this - well, I'm a compulsive person about maps and such - I love 'em and for some tweaked reason in my brain, I don't like to deviate from them (very much). So, if you don't mind, I will give a brief prologue to scenario 5 that will change the ending of scenario 4 to reflect this new information.

Attached is a map of where you are located. The Red Rocks are numbered 37 on the map. Look for the alternate prologue soon.

well, i'll tell ya
the uniform would not matter
a warm meal its all that the surviving crew care about
so a fort or a town its a great place to be

JoK just* pointed out that Veit currently owns a pair of pansy elf boots. Coffee, and everyone else: Do you mind if I switch them for something of equal or lesser value, as if he's sold them? Or, if you would like to, DM, sir, you could set a value that I must stay under for my switch that isn't quite the same as the pansy boots' price...

* Note: It could have actually been as far back as last night sometime.

Better yet Coffee should design the intro to the next scenario that somehow ends up with your character wearing said pansy boots. Oh the stories that would ensue. Maybe he will even wear them as a badge of honor soon. Or no merchant will sell him any normal looking boots since they are funny.

You forget that Veit is the main sorce of healing, don't you? He'll just let Mirko die if he falls unconcious...even make sure of it *coughinflictspellscough*.

Veit might find something to trade for them in the "place" where they are being taken. Or maybe later when/if they actually arrive in Leilon.
Wonder if those boots have bells on them? Hmmm.

I'm imagining them as something like what Will Ferrel wears in the movie Elf. They do have a little bit of use though I guess, helps make up for the heavy penalties that you suffer due to your armor.

Instead of hearing from down the hallway, "Clang, Clang Clang", upon your approach, you're as stealthy of someone in plain clothing, if not better.

Gonna be working on the scenario today, fellers. And scroll back up and take a look at the map - I changed it today; I like this one better.
Back at you soon.
