Enjoy your youth, my friend. It passes all too quickly.
Don't matter to me how old you are - you're a damn fine gamer!

There are no more Lizardfolk left alive, so if you're fighting, you're attacking the big ankylosaurus.
Bel - as for the knife, no, it's a one-handed weapon for you. Might be a two-handed weapon for a halfling.

*Thanks the dice gods*

I thought I would be a goner if that dinosaur trampled me. I'm not familiar with what dinosaurs do what, but your descriptions of the damage it was kickin out was enough.

Sorry bout not being able to post between the last two posts, but life and the sweet lips of a woman swept me away for a day.

Oh and jim, take coffees advice and add some of mine to it as well... live it up and enjoy your youth while ya can. Also, get as much young tail as you can while you're still under 18. After, you'll be lookin at those little high-school hotties thinkin, "damn!" I know the first year or two after I turned 18 was torture. Now I've come around to see what wine and women have in common

XP and rewards for Scenario 4

Another great job fellers! I love gaming with you guys - even if jimx is young enough to be my son!
Everyone receives 1100 experience points! Let me know if that bumps you up a level and I'll roll hp.

From the Lizardmen, you picked up the following:

20 silver, 4 gems - agates - 10 gp each, a variety of stone clubs (if you want them), and the two items:
  1. Amber Amulet of Vermin (from Magic of Faerun, pg. 151) - amber nugget on gold chain holds a normal-sized vermin (in this case, a centipede) inside. When broken, the vermin is released and immediately grows to monstrous size!
  2. Minor Frost Rod - acts like a modern-day cattle prod in that when the end of the rod touches a mount and a command word is spoken, the spell is released into the mount - usually spurring the mount into movement or action. Command word is "Icicle" - 21 charges remaining.
That's all for now, fellers. Talk to you soon.

I don't think that levels me yet. But I'll note the experience on my character sheet.

I call dibs on the amulet!

Forgot the Sea Devils!!

Holy Crap! I just realized that I forgot to tally the sahuagin in the experience points awards!
After some more ciphering, that gives everyone an additional 1000 XP! For a total of 2100 XP for this scenario!
Now...did that bump anyone up a level?

Gives Mirko a total of 51 hit points at 4th level!

I just started my character with the assumption that he was barely over the experience mark for third level. So I guess that still doesn't level me up. Darn! Ah well. Anyhow, how do you want to go about splitting up these treasures. I don't have to have the amulet if someone else wants it more, but it is my first pick. Any thoughts? Grand melee takes all? J/K... lemme know your thoughts though.

fine with me,
the XP are more than enough for Mirko

i guess Brakan can scratch his arse with the cattle prod

There is no set system for divvying up the goods - just ask for one and put it on your sheet. Love the amulet!
Cattle prod ain't bad either.

I was thinking about the cattle prod as well. Although, considering what it was used for (the dinosaur), I'm thinking it might be a little too much for any domestic beast. Mechanically it's probably all the same, but Almego doesn't know that.

I'll take the amulet though, and since that's worth a hell of alot more than the gold totals to, I'll have none of that.

Great running this scenario with ya'll. One of the most action packed ones yet.

Wouldn't that be cool to see Bra'kan riding a stegosaurus or other such dinosaur? Bra'kan, save that rod till you find a friend. Then it'll be on like donkey kong.

Not really - I'm unsure of the interest - I know akiko is swamped and noo was erratic on the last scenario; ej too. Only you and jimx posted regularly. And at this point, these scenarios have had somewhat of a theme so I like it when the same characters (or at least players) are in them. I'm very reluctant to open it up to new players - now, I might consider inviting one or two to get in, but just opening it up is not really an option anymore.
You fellers have spoiled me!
You're all good gamers and why settle for less!

I've restarted my email game through Yahoo groups too which is gonna be absorbing some of my time, but I'd make time for another scenario if there was enough interest.
What about it, fellers?

The interest is strong on this side of town Coffee. I did alot of visiting this last month and didn't get to dedicate myself as fully as I'd have liked to these forums. I'm gonna be more at home and regular this month of December though as I prepare to ship off. I'm trying to get my self a little more fit and ready for what I'll be going into until I leave. Ship date is still tentatively beginning or middle of January, no firm date yet though.

On the note of using the same characters though, I feel ya. I just didn't want to run Greg again because he plays a similar role as Mirko (being a bowman), but wasn't as versatile. I'd be interested in continuing on with Almego though now that I've impressed the group a little bit with my magic capabilities. When I made him I made a progression chart that showed what direction I'd see him going as he leveled.

How about the rest of you though? I'd definately love to keep the same group of people as well as characters around for another scenario. Everyone's style combined with Coffee's great unique way of writing really compliments each other well.

I would hop in, but it seems my life has become very erratic, and it is hard to reach a computer with internet access at times without having to use it for work or school.

It has been fun, and maybe again in the future when I know I have some time, but right now, I would love just to sit back and watch.
