Recruiting for a M&M 3e Game

Thanks to the Admins, my board has been modified to accomodate a Mutants and Masterminds third edition game. I've summarised my planned campaign below; if it looks interesting, let me know and we can discuss some ideas for possible inclusion.

Based in New York City, 'Dawn of Heroes' takes place in our modern world - a place where, until the start of the campaign, superheroes and villians have never existed before. How the characters and their enemies act will greatly impact the way the world views them, and these superheroes will need to use common sense and forethought to ensure they're not treated as public nuisances.

Ideally, I'd like to start every character off in their own thread and story, allowing the player to explore their powers/personalities/motivations before they encounter the rest of the heroes.

Rulewise, I'm likely to have all characters beginning as PL 10 heroes. The game's original focus will be on city-wide issues, threats and dilemmas, but as the heroes grow in power and influence, they might well have the chance to expand their interests beyond this boundary.

As mentioned before, the campaign will be grittier than most four-colour comic books: the lines between good and evil are rarely transparant, corruption is everywhere, and the heroes have to band together in order to truly make a difference. If things become better in the city, it's likely to be because of their efforts and sufferance; but if they perform poorly, make bad choices, or act counter to the public interest, then the city might just plummet even further into darkness - and it'll be thanks, in large part, to the newly awakened "heroes".

Sounds interesting to me. It doesn't look like you've had too many hits for this though!

Unless you'd like to run a solo adventure!

It's tempting to run a solo adventure - in fact, it seems like the only option available to me right now, given the lack of responses.

Uhh, it might be too late but I'd be up for a 3e game! Have a decent grasp of the rules and everything.

Any thoughts on the age-range you want for the characters? (Which seemed less weird to ask in my head, but it's a valid question when you're talking about superheroes, since it affects so much.)
