ok
thought i'd be the first to soil your visitor box

its good to see a non-d20 game going on
and now i can find out if the whitewolf games are inherently evil or if the gm that we used was just very poor (although i'm told he is now an assisstant ST or ST or something on the official site)

From what I can see, Alf it already doing a bang-up job...posting a mile a minute, and not missing a beat.

hey, thanks, but i think i've already confused both curmudgeon and myself during our little combat.

as i said, we'll be using an online mapper or online diagrams when we all get together.

the post frequency will go down once we all get together, also. i really wanted to do a preface with each character, and that's a lot of posts (4 times as many, actually) to get through.

hope you're enjoying it!

Even though I can't play this one (as i don't understand the WW systems at the moment - too poor to buy the book), I'll be reading through it. Am already enjoying the first two prefaces, and can't wait for the other two. *grins*

this is a pretty good mapper
i use it for my games and its easier than me drawing the diagrams

I agree, your attention to detail, and the way you're explaining things is cool ... ..

have taken a flip through the players book at my local gaming store and have it on lay-away, so if you ever need a player, and i have the book... *puts hand up*

No constructive criticism yet... the game is lookin good at the moment. I like the 'Preface' idea ... might give that a try at one stage with one of my games..

I concur... I like the preface thing alot, it gives us a chance to develop a little in-game personality before we meet the other PCs. I'm having a great time so far.

The only problem that I'm having (still) is finding the balance between short, boring posts ("I attack") and posts where I outline waaaay too many actions without knowing the outcome.

But that's not criticism of anyone but myself, for being a newbie. I suppose I'll pick it up as we go.

I've been reading this game on and off (I was encouraged by a certain email from Saint Alphonzo).

Quite a solid entertaining game if you ask me.

Now I ask you though:
Do these prefaces count as in-game posts? *45+32+23=100 wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more!*

(Just couldn't resist doing that; don't read this as anything but a lighthearted remark)

you're right, it has been 100 posts, hasn't it?

well, i'm true to my word, and, believe me, so far it's been worth it. i only hope everyone else would agree.

Well, I'd have to say this has been the most fun I've had in a PBP game (Don't worry, Kal, you're tied for second!). I'm just glad I was able to be a part.

Yes, I'd have to concur. This is a great PBP, and the characters haven't even met up yet. I've been wanting to scratch my White Wolf itch for awhile. It is my favorite system and setting, and I haven't been able to play for a few years. And this is my first time being a player.

thanks lots, everybody. it's been kinda hectic doing the Prefaces, but i think it's been worth it. i always like to do at least an hour or two preface alone with each character in my F2F games. let's them work out the kinks before everyone gets together.

i can't take all the credit for the fun here, though. all the players are great, and i can't wait to see the interactions between them.

soon, very soon.

so, there always seem to be "Guests" logged in, viewing this game. i hope you're enjoying it, and, hopefully, you'll stick around, maybe even register and join a game or two. there's lots of good RP'ing on this site, let alone this game.

as always, comments are welcome.

*cries* I wanna play!!!! */cries*

The game is goin -really- well, and am enjoying it thoroughly now that the four characters are now in the same room. If you're ever planning on running another Mage game (and I severely hope you do), I'm definately putting my hand up for it.

*continues to read*

i don't know if it's beginner's luck or what, but i'm very happy with the way this, my first foray into PBP gaming, is going. i will definitely be doing this again.
