I'z 'ere.

EDIT: By the by, I looked through the approved suplemental classes and discovered Exoticist wasn't on there. Remember when I showed you that class? My piker would simply fall appart without it, the least of the reasons definitely being that I'm not using any matial weapons, but rely on four exotic ones for my own protection.
If you don't remember it, it's on post 2175 of the AD Police OOC.

So, is the Dread Pirate a yes or no? Overall, it's pretty dang weak.

Oh, and I have a suggestion for a rule variant, which I usually play with: A character dies when at his con score * -1. So a character with an 18 con score would die when at -18, instead of the normal -10. I find this to be a bit more realistic.

Actually, LegacyLink, there's already a feat that does that. It's name slips my mind at the moment, but I remember trying to use it with Diehard to keep him acting until -18. Nobody caught that Diehard only keeps you up between -1 and -9 at the time...

I just had an amazing character background idea that's sparked me off on a massive development spree. On the down side, the character's suddenly turned chaotic good. Sorry, palli-boy!

I've taken Perform (Puppetry) as one of my skills because none of the basic options from the PHB seemed to work; can I safely assume this covers all puppet-related attempts to entertain, amuse or move people? It seems rather silly to have to take seperate Perform (Comedy) and Perform (Drama) skills to do basically the same thing with puppets. (Obviously my skill wouldn't cover any kind of live acting or such, as the other categories might.)

Also: looking to hook up character histories with someone. My character is a sneaky, cowardly bastard who may have left you hanging at some point. PM me for details, discussion, etc.

Perform (Puppetry)!? Look, if you want versatility, take Perform (Vaudeville), man! That's why my next bard is taking.

I've probably got the wrong character to do a background tie-in with. My character's an ex-soldier.

Is it too late for me to get in on this? I just got a sudden urge to play a member of a sea-going nomad tribe... probably swashbuckler.

Dread Pirate is approved. I ran it, and it isn't nearly as powerful as it could be given some of the other Prestige Classes and an expanded master spell selection.

Perform (Puppetry) seems solid to me.

You can play, SD.

Thus far, I'm sticking with the -10 death, as per my early rulings.

If you want to take an outside feat, get me the info on it.

Heh. I'm sure we will have more, considering... 14 players as of now? 15?

I don't think you want groups of five running through adventures made for eight.

That said, I can go up to three if you all want it.

I'm working on a basic map, which I will show a small segment to you as the complete knowledge of the masses at some point. However, the map is not necessary for the introduction or the first adventures, so...

If I get up to eighteen people, I will have to break it into three, however.

Quick recoinnoter allows you a spot and listen check as a free action. It also grants a +2 to initiative. It has 5 ranks in listen and spot as prerequisites.

That is, one active listen and one active spot check each round as a free action and a +2 to initiative.

And thank you, I can get started on my character now. WHO WANTS TO BE ON MY PIRATE CREW?

oh, and I'm thinking about putting ranks into a craft. How's craft (disturbing mental image)?
