Damn it JoK, leaving Raynal to do all the grunt work and most likely get possessed by a ghost.

Better you than I. You have to earn your way into the group. What better way than to get possessed and attack us? That'll make us like you more. If the ghost were to possess me, I wouldn't ever feel right again.

I was thinking the same thing already ... damn. Maybe coffee is becoming predictable

I think I just marked Raynal as the next person to die by saying that.

Calling the DM predictable is a bad idea. He usually shows you just how unpredictable he can be as a response. This is the case in 100% of the situations that I've been in like that.

Eh, predictability leads to unpredictability, got to love that. Eh, it makes it more fun and all the more interesting. Can't wait to see what comes up in the next post.

I also edited Raynal's action if pulling the dagger out doesn't work and if the further bashing doesn't work either.

Oooh, I was posting based on an old post and not today's. Editing time! Trying to get back in this fellas. I have a hard time catching up when I get many posts behind.

EDIT: Feel free to overwrite as always coffee. I always like the idea that different people all had the same gods or being, just different names. So the hin now have a "candy man" if that's ok with you.

Loving it, akiko! I had to read your post twice to catch what you were saying, but yeah, definitely very good.
JoK, you out there? Would like to hear if Almego asks any questions before I post.

Working on the post right now - JoK, if you can't get your actions in on this one, we can always do a "flashback" or retro post.

I finally got around to reading all the back-posts. WOW! Holy Cow! What a fucking surprise.

(I wonder if it was all that predictability that we were talking about. I do recall that he didn't coment on that.)

Just toying with ya coffee. I just guess we didn't know what boat we were jumping onto.

Sorry I wasn't able to get on the last two days, except yesterday for like 3 minutes. Work and family drama been keeping me too busy or out of the house just to be away from the headaches at home. I went to the local library to use the computers but there was a hella long wait.

I just got done posting up my two posts, one for my absense and one for current. Feel free to weave them in the masterful way that you do your voodoo coffee.

Akiko, great addition of Hin lore! I love it, 'You got Sand!'

Man I'm still tripping on the turn of events. Divine meeting! Awesome. You did a great job roleplaying the god too coffee. I'm not too hip on Valkur and his dogma, but I got the gist of it and got the sense that you've had experience playing the divine before.

Also, what are our BOONS!

Thank JoK - been missing you man! I love incorporating the "divine" into my games. Faerun is known for its gods having a more direct impact on their followers and I like to take it another step further and have them manifest in times of need.
Valkur is in the Faiths and Pantheons book - is that on your CD?

As for your "boons" they are coming - I'm gonna be adding them to your character sheets this weekend. But...you still may want to check out the cabins

Edit: Added some boons to your character sheets - still need to add Egret's and Babelson's.

Really cool boons indeed! I love Mirko having that warcry. It reminds me of a diablo 2 barbarian.

Let me understand what mine does precisely.

Valkur's Boon: Lionheart Amulet - bestows two Feats upon you - Iron Will and Lionhearted - confers +3 bonus to Will saves and +6 versus Fear spells/effects; you now possess an incredible level of bravery and determination.

Does that mean I have +2 will saves from Iron Will and another +3 from the additional powers of the amulet or was the +3 supposed to mean the Iron Will? I looked it up and Iron Will only gives you +2 to will saves. Also, I've never seen the Lionheart feat anywhere, is the +6 to fear effects coming from that? I'm guessing that you meant +2 from Iron Will and +6 to fear effects from Lionheart. Is that correct?

I love that resistance. Fear is a very powerful tool. I'm glad I have reasons not to play my character as a scaredy cat. I only roleplayed him the way I did in the alter room because he's a young farmboy that's never seen anything freaky and so... uh, incorporeal before. And he's got demons within him that... well, let's just say I'll try not to worry about those demons anymore.

I'm loving this scenario coffee. The others have all been fun, but this one is turning into a truly exciting and high adventure adventure. Keep up the great work man and mucho props to all the other players for helping make it the great way it is.

Iron Will gives you +2 and Lionhearted gives you another +1 for a total of +3 bonus. The Lionhearted feat comes from a book called Ultimate Feats from Mongoose Publishing - I was looking for something related to bravery and such and just happened upon it in my "vast" library of pdf's.

When Mirko bellows that warcry...there's gonna be some shit stained breeches! Can't wait.

Thanks for the compliments too and ditto on the kudos for you fellers posting the way you do. It's a thrill to read your posts.

I'm still not understanding. The original text:
Valkur's Boon: Lionheart Amulet - bestows two Feats upon you - Iron Will and Lionhearted - confers +3 bonus to Will saves and +6 versus Fear spells/effects; you now possess an incredible level of bravery and determination.
Then your explanation:
Iron Will gives you +2 and Lionhearted gives you another +1 for a total of +3 bonus.

This just confused me further. Perhaps I'm hung over. Can we go back to first grade and have you explain it to me? Or should I not worry about it. You'll remember to include the right bonuses when the time comes right? I really would like to understand though.
