I don't participate because I suck. I wrote 357 words last year. This year I don't think I'll even try.

Sometimes I think about trying this, but I just don't have the time

Clearly I need one of you to pay me a wage so I can lounge around in coffee shops and write my amazing fiction.

I briefly considered doing this (again). But I am currently in the middle of editing one novel and 10k+ words into a second. Starting a third just doesn't make sense, even if I do have an idea for one.

Yeah. I'm not going to bother this year.

I just finished a month of night float, my brain is mush, and I'm focused on (another) top-secret project. No novel for me this year.

I'm trying to build a video game instead of write a novel. IT will probably go just as well as my novel did last year.

I've written about 40K words this month, but it was all incidental to writing my 4th novel anyway.

You can find the first three, plus a couple of other pieces, here.
