Flarrgj is out of position. He should be hiding behind the tree at 110N/355E.

I take it that all henchmen at the intersection can see the two goblins. Is this correct?

Funny you should ask. No. In fact, the other three henchmen can see them, but Termix is the only one who can't. His 30 ft visibility barely extends to the edge of the road.

Just makes what Termix is going to do more plausible.

Also, do we, specifically Termix, hear the goblins? Would just like to know before I post Temix' reaction.

Using the next invisible castle rolls on the list already rolled, Termix rolls a 12 to listen, with -3 due to distance. The goblins roll 20 to move silently, minus 5 for speed. Termix does not hear the goblins.

Sorry I took that 20 from you BP. Termix' reaction would have been different if he had heard the goblins, though.

The latest combat map shows the latern sitting at about 150N/340E, or at least I assume it is sitting there since it is not pointed out from Fugen's position. BP, was it planned for Fugen to "drop" the lantern? If so, its going to be tough to hit the goblins around Fugen with magic missles without taking out the goblins closer to Termix first. 'Course, if Fugen has it handled..........

Actually my intention was for Fugen to remain in possession of the lamp when he made his readied action in the first round, but when CD "left it behind" on the map, I wasn't really going to make a big issue out of it. However, since its been brought up, Fugen should still have it and is using it to keep the light on the largest group of goblins (those closest to him).

He uses Autorealm. I use it as well thanks to his suggestion. It's a pretty decent free map program.

I use autorealm for the large scale overland maps, and for big dungeons (like the library) but I usually just use powerpoint for the battle maps. I save the map as a .tif file, then convert the .tif into a .jpg.

CD. You never resolved Fugen's readied action. He wasn't on full defense. He readied an action to attack defensively the first goblin to approach, using Combat expertise at full (which is currently limited by his BAB). Now, he probably can't hit the broad side of a barn with a -4 to hit total (+2 normally -4 fighting defensively, -2 combat expertise), but even a small chance of hitting is better than none.

One of those 18's should have been mine.

Great. Now CD is pushing things forward without responding to my previous post. I was waiting to see if the readied action would be resolved, and if so what the resolution was before posting again.

Damn you CD! Stop being so bloody efficient!

Congratulations.

Now for the bad news. I won't be able to post (most likely) until Wednesday or Thursday. I'm out of town and right now riding a pirated wireless connection...

Sorry, BP. I just saw your posts for the first time. I didn't get an email notification for some reason. Weird. I've been spoiled by the email notification. The only reason I saw the posts now is that I got an email notification from Merc's post. I know you must frustrated. I owe you one.

Happy Holidays, everyone.

I think our best course of action is to question the surviving goblin, if only shortly. The question for us is, who should do it? The whole group? One of us? What?
