And my apologies for not posting yet. I'v been crazy busy this last week with orientation, and this game requires the most time from the ones I'm in (aside from Fantastic Reality, for which I also apologise).

I'm halfway through a post, but I'm not sure I'll have time today, and classes start on Monday. Hopefully I'll post soon. But if I don't post in this round of interaction, it might be for the best if R9 got NPCed for the forseeable future. I didn't realize how busy I'd become when I committed to this game.

To reiterate: still trying to make this work, but if I can't, don't keep the game on hold because of me.

SAd. You at least speak Huttese, right? So NPC R9 can tell me what was going down in that conversation?

Wraeth speaks Huttese, if you'd bothered to ask him.

*sniff*

Everyone assumes cause you're 7' tall and rip off arms, you don't know languages....

And Enni can understand "rawr," so together, you could get a translation.

Maybe Ariq trusts Droids more than Wookies?

Also, I had no idea you spoke Huttese. Apparently it didn't come up when we were battling that other Sith lord.

He speaks 6 other languages too (including Basic and Shyriiwook).

I didn't think wookies could speak anything other than Shyriiwook

To answer Krypton's earlier question, yes R9 both understands and speaks Huttese, as well as Binary, Basic, and I believe 12 other languages (they're in my character sheet). So if I get around to posting, yes, R9 can take care of your message. If not, Shakes can see to it that he does.

R9 is, among other things, the communication unit for the group. He can both speak and understand almost any common language, and can easily learn new ones. So feel free to force him into social situations he doesn't want to be in when you need an interpretor.

Hey everyone, I am very sorry for my recent absence.. I have been through a rough period and haven't been able to manage much. I am starting to feel better and get sorted again, so I will try to get back in the game as soon as I can.

An update on personal affairs: I've recently transfered branchs of the armed services, putting my lot in with the Royal Marines which is stealing a lot of my remaining time. It's why I've been slow recently, and also why I'm posing this next question to you all:

I don't want to drop my remaining games, but my posting reliability will skydive for the foreseeable future; shall I keep the games open, with posting standards dropping to maybe once a week, or would you all feel better if I put the games on indefinate suspension until I've finished training?

I think its up to you. Can you handle the training at the same time as this if so keep it up, if not suspend it and then let us know when you're back. Even with all the breaks you've done an amazing job this far.
Edit: if it comes down to it we could just have some back and forth conversation for a while.

Thanks for the compliment, but the fact is that I keep having to pause and stop games; it's unavoidable, but it's unfortunate. I don't want my players to have to wait around for me whilst I try to get things in order.

Since I'm likely to be on as little as you, my vote is for slower posting rather than none.

slower posting is by far acceptable to none. I say if you can find the time in between all that training - and you still have the energy to post - then yes, by all means let's continue.

Thanks for the understanding folks. Gaming will resume then, albeit with slower responses from myself; feel free to make up the time between GM posts with interaction.

I'm looking to contribute something here today, tomorrow, or the day after. Stay tuned.

I'm interested in the interaction going on between Farik and Enni here, first impressions are forming.

I think Wraeth and Annah are going to get along just fine, until he tries to rip her arms off

What if, say, he were to rewrite a couple subroutines in her computer to give him a security override? Would she still like him?
