What fun is that? It's more fun to randomly click and be surprised.

Okay.......... I'll edit some in.

A series of random youtube links is kind of worthless. Lets see some descriptions. I hate to lock down threads, but a few random links can easily be tossed into the Spotlight.

Also if none of you has seen The Guild I would recommend it to anyone, not just MMO fans. And of course if you like that and/or are a classic video game fan then check out Legend of Neil.

I was unaware of this Conan movie business. It seems...well, about what you'd expect considering the previous movies. I'm curious if they'll actually try to hit at some of the nuance and subtext to Howard's work (when he wasn't being horribly racist).

I cannot imagine any subtext in that movie, at least judging from the preview...

Gralhruk:Oh, I didn't follow your link.
itches: I noticed that you didn't
Gralhruk: No, I have the pirate wench saved elsewhere.
Gralhruk:She doesn't have any underwear to speak of or I would have posted it again.
itches:: You saved the pirate wench? That's ... rather sad.
Gralhruk: Oh, you never know when I'll need to break it out.
Gralhruk: It's part of ORP lore now.

Not impatiant, I was trying to be nice to the weird old man who lurks in my forum. I'll try not to make that mistake again.

NEW TOPIC.

I just found this nifty new Canadian series, Flashpoint. As far as I can tell it's about a Toronto SWAT-lite and how they deal with various hostage scenarios. Like negotiations and standoffs and stuff.
It's really good.
Also I didn't even realize it was Canadian until it struck me that a "Police Strategic Response Unit" isn't an actual thing and why have I never heard about this show before maybe I'll check out the Wikipedia article.

The Sarah Silverman - Matt Damon one was IMO funnier. Just goes to show you squeals should sometimes not be made. Though it is grand that they can continue to make fun of themselves.

Flashpoint at imdb, staring the pink power ranger Amy Jo Johnson. What's more amusing is that it was rated by someone as one of the top 10 Canadian shows of all time. You should see what the other nine shows are.

This is exactly why I sold the TV in the first place. While there are some good Canadian shows, or rather, there may have been, historically speaking, they're incredibly frustrating to find on a network lineup.

See... I thought Jimmy Kimmel's response was better but of course it wasn't as original. *shrug* I'm not too fond of either of their comedy in the first place anyway. But I do think Sarah is hot. That helps distract me from the comedy.

Well the reason I even found it was from randomly browsing Netflix.
Also I must have horrible taste or something.

To be fair, I've never heard of Flashpoint. Canadian shows aren't inherently terrible, it's just that terrible shows predominate here.

I don't know, I still think it's alright. Maybe the one alright Canadian show?
I mean it's not necessarily good, but it's a pretty solid vaguely interesting cop show to have on in the background. I posted more because I was surprised I'd never heard of it.
Or maybe I just do have horrible taste and there's a reason I've never heard of it?
