I'm in the dwarf kingdom for that. It's oddly lacking in atmosphere somehow.

I always found the dwarf kingdom to be a drag, it is my least favourite of the places for reasons I can't talk about without spoilers.

*sigh*

I don't really have time to play atm, but I don't have a computer able to run Dragon Age either. Which sucks. Otherwise I could at least play when I've got some spare time.

I play it on and off. Current character is a pissed-off looking city elf.

Watched Watchmen yesterday. Not being a 'real' fan of superheros, I wasn't particularly impressed. A bit longish for my taste with all those flashbacks. But maybe I just had different expectations which often is the cause of disappointment.

And why does everyone have a better computer than I have? Mine's only 2,5 years old (notebook though). Oh, I forgot. That's already archaic.

You nailed three reasons which explain your final opinion quite well. To that I'd add a fourth--unfamiliar with source material.

I thought Watchmen was a complete movie, and an excellent one at that, but I cannot physically look at it as someone who is virginal to its ideas and execution. My views will always be tainted by my having read and loved the comic book version long before the film came out, my love/hate relationship with superheroes, and my belief that films should strive to be direct translations as faithful as humanly possible to original source materials.

I read the book shortly before seeing the movie, and while it was worth reading I didn't think it was anything special. So I was a little surprised to think Watchmen was one of the best superhero movies I've seen. And I don't even believe translations need to be faithful.

I liked it, and now own it. It was deep and dark, and the cinematography was excellent.

I'm surprised anyone still remembers me XD As for a return--it's a tossup. I think a return to roleplaying could be quite interesting, though the twin barriers of distraction and not being up to date on roleplaying technology stand in the way of that.

Also I may be changing my name to Evil4Zerggin, a name SinbadEV may recognize if he's still around.

Some of it is downright awful, but a lot of what I see on ThisIsWhyYou'reFat looks so damn tasty. It is, indeed, probably why I'm fat, but I like food.

Oddly enough, I'm not terribly fat.
I don't generally feel "hungry" so much as I realize that the headaches I'm having are probably from not eating all day, and to the extent that I am fat it is due to poor choices, not really overeating.
If it were actually possible, I'd simply do without eating most of the time (maybe once a week). Certainly, not having to worry about needing to eat or what I eat would outweigh the pleasure I get from food.

Also, don't capitalize my name. /grumbly old man

Yeah, that would be a worthy trade. But then, I don't live near the bakery that sells these.

No Diet Coke.
Unlimited Fries.
Those over 350 lbs eat for free.
Waitresses are nurses, and if you manage to finish a triple or quadruple bypass burger while being "treated" you get a picture with the nurses and are given a wheelchair and a nurse to escort you to your car.

It's a lab, ergo the story is he stole that pipe from his owner who's even now standing just off camera trying to get it back. After 10 minutes of fruitlessly chasing him around, said owner is forced to watch as the dog chews it to bits just out of reach. Plus he gets to look forward to the possibility of a trip to the vet or being woken in the middle of the night because of pipe induced diarrhea.
