No hurry. Reference time right now is the morning of Thursday 22 March 2007 (Paul, Hillary, Anastasia, John). Fertelli is a few hours behind. The appointed time for the Fantastic Four to assemble for their boot camp is 0500 Friday 23 March. That's the target for being back in the same place at the same time.

We'll probably do some accelerated roleplaying through the training period of approximately four weeks, with Anastasia doing something similar, keep everyone on the same sheet of music. Then, starting around the late part of April, there will be plot events to deal with.

From here till Monday night, I am not likely going to get to post. Skying with the inlaws for the weekend.

I am thinking up some good, but in character, conversation pieces for Joanne and David. Hard to speak from knowledge for a character that is not as knowledgable.

Just to clarify things; I'm waiting for everyone to post themselves up to Friday morning game time. Once everyone has done that, we'll move forward with the main action. I will automove Fertelli if and when everyone else is up to that time and he isn't.

As a matter of policy, if we're in the situation where anyone feels like they are waiting for others to finish up - but their character is behind in the timeline - please advance your character up to or ahead of the timeline. That will make it clear to me that you are waiting for others to catch up - else I may think I'm waiting on you.

We're on some pretty disparate timelines by now since that last post seems to put Fertelli in two places at once (or is three, with backtracking to previous convo in his post?) And Trey's ahead of us all now. I can hold off a bit to let peoples' timelines catch up if needed. Up to you.

Sorry, the weekend was hell, got my car towed, had to get it registered, make 3 trips across town, and then got pulled over by a cop.....

His name was not Fertelli :-(

Anyways, hope to post a bit later today.

Ramdin did mention his name in the post. Just thought I'd mention it if it was missed amidst Dave's multi-posts

Yes, I have Fertelli in two places at once, on the assumption that he will get ensnared by HillaryStock along the way. It's all right.

And yes, he did introduce himself. You can edit as needed, or assume it blew right by Fertelli - maybe he thought Ramdin was some other word - "Hello, I'm rambling..." "Hello, I'm random..."

I've moved Fertelli's waiting-room conversation to another forum. Thanos, please go ahead and post both threads. The waiting room thread will end when you eventually post the post that brings Fertelli up to the 10pm end of the concert.

Shutter, Lyn, Thanos, please post something at the 10pm marker, even if it's short and just leads to the next morning.

That's fine; just something to provide continuity and closure for the next chapter.

For everyone:

Metagaming heads-up: the next chapter will start a new thread, and will be focussed on the more traditional adventure-RPG type stuff of mystery and investigation, puzzle and problem-solving, conflict and combat. For those of you/us who have been enjoying filling in the backstory, sidestory and non-plot elements, those will get woven in, but will not be the main focus.

Just remember that nearly everything I say, every hint I drop from NPCs, is of some value in the future. Believe me, I am giving out scads of information when, for example, Lilith muses about things to Paul. The background of the NPCs can be exploited, and I regard them all as very distinct entities, with separate personalities and interests. They are not monolithic. It's up to you to use them or abuse them as you see fit.

Work has gotten busy, after work is for sleep. Not sure how active I'll be over the next week; just have to see.

Just FYI, my whole family (myself included) is down with the most recent Crud. Praise God, the hubby and I seem to be alternating "up" and "down" cycles, so there's someone moderately aware to care for the little man, but if I'm not posting or on line as much as I usually am.... that's why.

Having a bit of trouble formulating a post to that last one, Dave. I'm fine with a go ahead.

OK. I'll proceed. I can assume that you won't have the PCs won't Self-Initiate Elimination, also known as "goin' to get coffee and donuts..."

. Yeah, so far Paul's still on board. I've just been stumped as how to respond. I suppose I could make it like a journal entry or something. I'm just running on empty at the moment and school's got me drained. Can't wait for another week until spring break starts and I can recharge the battery.

Kinda the same, actually. Call this bookkeeping.

Also - we had trojans and viruses and adware, oh my - changed to Firefox. Guess what - its spellcheck applies to forum entries.

Try to keep up with these two free programs:

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

They work well alongside your virus scanner to keep the comp clean. The only trouble I've ever had is when Firefox wants to update sometimes, I have to go into ctrl+alt+delete to disable Tea Timer for one of those.

I've been using Firefox a couple years now and like it a lot, the Privacy settings and firewall are nice, as is tabbing, and the general easy setup and customizable interface. And the spellcheck on forums is handy-dandy indeed.

I have been using Firefox since it came out for Mac's. That was when I was using one. I never got anything between the Mac and Firefox. Only way I have gotten a Mac to crash was to put in an operating system that required a higher level processor and that even took a month to finally get stuck.

Posting, I will right now I think. Nothing big, but fun.

We're in the process of house-hunting for our move in July. This tends to take up all the time an energy of the weekend.
