The amount of non-shared XP is entirely up to you guys. If you guys stick together and face all challenges and quests as a group, then there won't be any. If you decide to split up and take on different portions of the story as individuals or smaller groups then there will be a whole lot of it. I usually force the former situation on my F2F group, but am willing to let you guys explore the latter if that's what you'd like to do.

The Kruthik Ambush was worth 120 XP per character. Sorry about not reporting that earlier.

No worries.

That puts us at 653 apiece, so we're still well short of level 2 (barring story awards).

Man. We sucked hard there at the end.

All damage to Karon again?

Lorien has surges to spare.

If we're voting on a direction to take next, I'm all for busting down the double doors on the west side of the room where most of the fighting was.

Regrouping in the main room sounds like a good idea. Taraka had a choice - shut the north door and ignore the mooks in that hallway, or take out that threat now so that it didn't run down the hallway and interfere in the main battle. But other than that, Taraka will be heading back to the main room.

For the damage, I suggest piling it on Karon again, since he leads significantly in surges. So, with a Majestic Word on Taraka, then two Healing Spirits on Karon (with 10 bonus healing to Ieza), we should be at:

Ieza: 23/23 and 6/7 surges
Lorien: 30/30 and 8/11 surges
Taraka: 24/24 and 6/7 surges
Karon: 31/31 and 8/12 surges
Ril: 24/24 and 8/8 surges

I foresee a need to pick on Ril eventually.

For the direction, the double doors sound great. We need five minutes in the main room for a short rest anyways.

Ril is a coward who cringes behind everyone else, alternating between shooting arrows and tricking enemies into attacking other allies.

Feel free to have him suffer occasionally.

Same marching order as before as you go through the door?

So long as we all get that 5 minutes of rest to recharge encounter powers? Absolutely.

So it's wait five minutes and then go through the doors? The IC posts made me think you guys were moving on faster than that.

What's everyone planning on doing during those five minutes?

Oh, and Merc, did Taraka close the door behind him as he came back through?

Sorry about the confusion. I think we clearly want to wait, spend a surge or two, recharge encounter powers, and then move on.

I hadn't decided whether Taraka closed it or not. I'm tempted to say he left it open simply because there's no real reason to close them. Others could close the doors if they wanted.

Oh, just realized something. The end of the last encounter marks a milestone for the day. Everyone earns an action point.

To be clear about what just happened:

The party was catching their breath and taking in their surroundings when the hobgoblins burst in on them. Both parties were caught by surprise at the presence of the other so there was no surprise round.

Crap. Not enough time to rest up and heal. No encounter powers. Crap.

That is correct. Pull your HP, healing surges, and remaining encounter powers from the end of the last encounter when posting.

However, you do all get your Extra actions (that's on a per-encounter basis, not a per-rest basis).

I guess we've also spent all our heals but the one Majestic Word, then?

You only spent 1 Majestic Word in the last encounter, so add whatever you spent to heal between encounters to that as spent for this one.

Oh, then we have no healing. No big deal, looks like an easy encounter.

Given that it's technically part of the previous encounter (which you smoked through much more efficiently than expected, despite the poor rolling in the last round), I should hope so.

No, I'm a tard-bucket and thought I had posted for this round. I'll get something up this afternoon. Sorry!

Also, Lorien can only mark creatures he attacks, so the Drake is marked, not the non-existent Hobgoblin Soldier Blue.
That's what I get for hastily copy-pasting.
