its a lot easier to move the steering wheel and push the gas pedal than to lift a multi-ton van.......and scoot it off in a give direction.

Heck, even putting it in neutral and pushing would be better than lifting the whole thing.

TK turning keys already in an ignition, easy!

How long does the tranquilizer that hit Ricky last? Will he be awake when the others find him?

Is the Assassin in Ricky's sight?

Also, can Ricky shapeshift into inanimate objects, like chairs, or water? And if he shapeshifts into a fluid (gas or liquid), can he move?

Nobody can currently see the assassin.

No shapeshifting into gas or anything with a bunch of moving parts (IE: Guns). Liquid is okay, but extremely taxing to do. Objects are harder than people, but liquid is the hardest thing for ricky, and is probably one of the most powerful expressions of shape-shifting. If he's a flooder, he probably can't do liquid at this point in time.

Considering that Ricky has such low reaction times (relative to everyone else acting), does he even get a move?

He does, - it's just that this one guy is fighting ALL of us, So it's like, turn after turn i guess. And yeah, that action was a quick one, because it was getting the fight underway

Just jump in, don't get stabbed in teh chest

I have no idea what Ricky can even do here. He's got no guns and relatively low reaction times. Take the form of a small bear (or some sort of predator), harden my skin, and jump in? Against the air?

Well, If i were you, I'd take the form of something with brilliant senses. Maybe heat vision, or echolocation.

To be honest, I'm probably the best hand to hand guy in the party, and he just put me down, so i guess just having a go is what matters.

Well, I'll wait a few more actions before he actually does anything - Ricky got stunned a bit here, and has to make a decision, and his thinking is likely to take a while compared to all the lightning reflexes here.

And on that note - I'm going to sleep now. I'd like to post more, but I'm beat. See y'all later.

You're not the only one who doesn't know what to do.
Francis is in the same predicament.

As far as I understand it, most snakes have eyesight into the infrared range. Pit vipers are a better fit though, since they have a hypersensitivity to infrared via that extra organ. Nice job there, Mr. GM!

Just a NOTE:
Such "kinetic impact munitions" are meant to cause pain but not serious injury. They are expected to produce contusions, abrasions, and hematomas.[3] They may cause bone fractures, injuries to internal organs, or death. In a study of 90 patients in Northern Ireland, one died, 17 suffered permanent disabilities or deformities and 41 required hospital treatment after being fired upon with rubber bullets.[4]

Yeah, To be honest I was going to question whether rubber bullets would even damage us empowered folks. If a normal persons endurance is 1, then anything past 10 it's probably a minor inconvenience.

The dude killed some cops, I'm all for shooting him in the face

yes, you impatient kill them all kind of guy.

Remember, there were hostages...the missing camera guy, the missing kids from the school (or dead kids). Asking questions and getting answers are VERY necessary! In addition, rubber bullets tend to bounce off things while regular bullets do structural damage if they miss...bringing the whole building down on top of us, would SUCK.

Huh, I didn't realize till now, but we've got Ricky, a kid who doesn't like cops, in a group with two military guys. This will make an interesting group dynamic...
