And thanks Darius.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Setting & NPCs thread - I'm updated it often, and keeping note of the facts/rumours contained therein might help provide you with more RP material for posts.

Within the OOC area of your post - keeping rolls together with their relevant material makes STinh easier, especially during combat.

Just know that you can't edit dice rolls after the fact. Usually not a problem, except with the reroll 10 aspect. Maybe have a separate thread for dice rolls?

I seem to recall that a 10 on specialty rolls grants 2 successes rather allowing rerolls. Isn't that Requiem, or am I missing a rule somewhere?

ITM, go ahead and post. I'll mention what she sees in my next post.

I thought that was the case in V20 as well!

Not a problem: I'll double check to be sure, but will consider making a separate thread for rolls; would need you both to quote the post related to the roll, though, to make it easier.

Do either of you have a copy of "Children of the Revolution"? If so, is it worth getting?

I double-checked, and you do not re-roll 10s on specialty checks - they merely count as 2 successes rather than 1.

Also, I found this: http://www.umbralechoes.com/WoDRoller.php

I'm want both of your opinion on this: should we use this dice roller, and have each of you C&P the results into the OOC section of your posts, or should we keep using the on-site dice roller? I'm fine with the former, particularly since the tool is DESIGNED for old World of Darkness mechanics - the only thing is that everyone would have to be very honest with their results and resist the temptation to edit the numbers before C&Ping it here (though I have no fears that either of you would do that).

Hi, I'd say use that diceroller in OOC posts would be my personal preference

Probably better off using the dice roller here, as the other is geared toward rerolling 10s on the specialty roll.

ITM- is there a reason you keep typing Gabrielle instead of Gabriel? Is that deliberate- or just a mistake?

Actually Darius, the 10s are only re-rolled if you tick the box; this means that you merely have to count each 10 as two successes when they come up rather than one (which is exactly what you'd need to do here, anyways).

However, if you'd STILL rather use the on-site roller, then we shall: it was an alternative that I would have considered only if both of you wanted it, otherwise we can stick with what we have.

Oh gosh, it is a mistake I see now. I'm not insulting your characters masculinity, promise! :p

When you both are happy to end the current scene and move on with the chapter, let me know and I'll press us onward. At the same time as the scene's conclusion, I'd like you both to post (in your character threads) a summary of what your character spends his or her next three nights doing - hunting (a roll and a detailing of the hunt required, please), performing some task or another (again, roll and detail as required).

Any questions, let me know.

I'm find with moving on. How much detail are you looking for regarding the intermission posts?

About the same as normal. I consider them to be normal posts, and they count towards experience awards for the chapter.

Okay, as of ITM's most recent post, I will begin working on the next scene; in the interim, I'd like you both to post in your threads a narrative detailing what they've been up to for the next three nights.

Not a problem. I'll begin working on the next scene and ST post after I've looked over your summary of the three night's activities.

Regarding the dice roller: we'll be keeping to the on-site one for the time being. Should I decide to switch to the off-site one, however, we can do so at a later date.

Okay. May be a stupid question here but if I'm trying to get Ize to hunt and I don't know the outcome of the roll until I make the post (can't preview dice rolls on here) how can I narrate the rest of the scene?

The only way around this I see is multiple edits >.<

How I'd do it is this: post a description of how she INTENDS on hunting (where, what methods, etc), and then include the result at the end of the post. Once you check the outcome, you can then post a second time, in which you detail how it all pans out.

Just be sure to remember that your benefits from Herd and Domain only apply if you're in the right place for them to do so. Also, a note for both of you: be sure to explain WHERE you're hunting, as this will dictate the difficulty of the check... and also give me some idea as to how likely it is that your prey is diseased or marred in some way, or how likely it is that the area is inhabited by thugs or other dangers (such is the consequence of choosing a more inhabited, slummy area in which to hunt).
