Action castle!

>WELCOME TO ACTION CASTLE

ACTION CASTLE is a massively multiplayer text-based adventure game, in the vein of ZORK or ADVENTURE. It is the first of Jared Sorensen's Parsely (as in text-parser) game series. This game will be open to anyone who wants to participate, and will be run sort of the way BigRedRod's CYOA game did.
  1. The Parser (GM in standard terms) describes the room in short statements of fact. I will be playing the part of a computer text parser, which means no detailed descriptions, interactions, or reasoning.
  2. All participants effectively represent one Player.
  3. The Player (and you participants, by association) should respond in the following format: >VERB NOUN (i.e. >take stick or >examine statue or >open door). Please try to preface your posts with > at all times. It will help with the immersion in the game.
  4. You may also >ask (person) about (thing) or >(verb) (thing) with (thing). (i.e. >ask farmer about goblins or >hit beholder with stick)
  5. Once per day, the Parser (again, that's me) will respond to whichever command has appeared the most. If there is a tie, whichever command was posted earlier will take precedence.
  6. Only commands which are properly formatted will count towards the day's tally.
  7. You may speak amongst yourselves in spoiler tags below the IC post in order to try to coordinate the day's action.
  8. Only the first IC post per participant will count.
