Put up an equipment list for non magical stuff in the foundry forum. I also tweaked the currency a bit - I prefer a silver standard versus a gold standard, with 100sp=1gp. There's also some particulars on coins for those that like those details.

For those that have the base Eberron book (and are likely to use it for reference) - I like bigger cities so for the various metropolises pretty much add a zero. So for example Sharn would have a population of 2,000,000 (brings it into alignment with new york city circa 1880, or paris in the 1860s) and generally fits what we tend to think of as a "metropolis"

Good point about the population, J.

-J- 4th of August, 2012 12:25

Thanks =)

The place we're going to for vacay may not be as internet ready as we were lead to believe, so I may be a little quiet for the next week. I should be able to check the boards regularly enough, long posts might be a pain. I'm thinking I can work around it by using my phone as a mobile hot spot, but we'll see.

Tashalar 9th of August, 2012 15:10

Just dropping by to say that I'm still around. :)

I'll be able to do some character stuff on the weekend.

-J- 9th of August, 2012 22:24

Sounds good! I should be back in the land of internet connection this weekend, so let me know off there's anything you need from me. I like to do a lot of stuff through email and g-docs so if you want to collaborate on something pm me your email.

-J- 10th of August, 2012 10:30

linked you on a g-doc zach

-J- 10th of August, 2012 10:31

How are the rest of you coming along? Need anything from me?

zachol 10th of August, 2012 15:01

Saw the doc, alright.
Not sure how to check when it updates (not used to g-docs) though. Manually I guess?

-J- 11th of August, 2012 00:10

Manual is usually what i do. I think there's a setting that allows it to send an email when updated - or an email/post works too.

-J- 11th of August, 2012 00:16

Back at you

-J- 11th of August, 2012 04:21

and you're up again Z

Tashalar 11th of August, 2012 04:30

psst, don't capitalize the z...

If I've got something, I'll send it to you along with my mail address. :)

-J- 14th of August, 2012 05:18

and you're up again Z

:fun:

zachol 14th of August, 2012 20:59

Argh no quit capitalizing it.
Jeez.

Also you're up.
Where is everyone along in their bits, anyway?

Reinstadler 16th of August, 2012 00:42

Nice start

Gralhruk 16th of August, 2012 01:02

Indeed :). I am obliquely reminded of Inglorious Basterds:

Nice indeed! And now we can witness what working together on a googledoc let you do. :)

And quite okayish German you use there. If you want any help with German at some point, feel free to ask me.

Alsoalso - created gmail account and accessed the doc.

Edit: I'm reminded of 1984.

Gralhruk 16th of August, 2012 01:15

I read 1984 in 1984 in 10th grade English. While listening to Van Halen's 1984. True story.

zachol 16th of August, 2012 01:23

Google docs is actually pretty neat. I am impressed.

-J- 16th of August, 2012 01:29

Thanks =)

Yeah I just threw it into the bing translator...it really didn't like inch. Stupid metric system...

The nazi from Inglorius Bastards was sort of running in my head when I got the idea for the scene so its no coincidence.

And gral...that's a whole lot of the 80's all at once. Sort of explains things though :)

-J- 16th of August, 2012 01:30

I like gdocs for scenes with lots of dialogue, it allows for a much more natural call and response sort of feel.

Tashalar 16th of August, 2012 01:37

Hey look - Gral's an old guy!

... yeah, I know, nothing new.

Yeah, a lot of dialogue works much better this way.

-J- 16th of August, 2012 04:01

Careful there mister, I'm not far behind ;)
