No sacrifices meant you had to wait while I read random wikipedia articles. Let that be a lesson to you (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1512).

There are no more virgins left around here...thus no sacrifice.

This is the worst forum request I've ever seen. You're lucky that we have a nice admin on staff.

Oooooookay... well that's just not nice.

We ask for virgin sacrifices, how nice can someone expect us to be?

Yeah, but that didn't really seem like a joke

Hey, everything seems not like it could be, right? :ditsy:
Next time around you could pep up your virgin-effort though. If you're to fault that there are none around any longer, then you, Sir, are not nice.

Yea and that's a joke but this;

really didn't sound like a joke, it had nothing to indicate it was, and actually was quite hurtful.

You'd best be joking now, blood.
It was the best kind of joke, the kind that is based in truth.

No, I'm not- it feels like I'm being victimised, what's so different really in this post:
http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9524
or this one; http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9494
Except for a mention of stupid virgin sacrifices? Why should I be told that it's the worst request ever?

Victimised? Bloody hell.
Where you went wrong:
Misuse of ellipses, an annoying internet acronym in the title, a list which doesn't include all of the information or actually state the title or description in an explicit manner and a general lack of fun. That last one is the real sticking point for me. You've chosen to take offence about a complete non-issue and that hurts me inside.
Edit: Hmmm, might be best to take this to PMs if you want to keep discussing it. No point airing dirty laundry in public.

Actually I'd rather the other admins saw this, because if this is how you treat your players.
Oh and I used the ellipsis correctly, it indicates a pause or missed text. The information I gave was exactly what was asked for in the froum request info thread as I copied and pasted it and then placed my stuff in in the right places. I wasn't the one who took a joke and turned it into something else.

The other Admins will see it, no worries. It's other players you shouldn't be continuing to air things in front of. Sets a poor precedent for GMing as well if you like to keep things public.
It is a poorly put together request for a forum overall (numbers don't tend to count for explicit direction, even if copy and pasted from the list of what the admin need, and internet speak in a title--where you did misuse the ellipses--is generally frowned upon). Even if BRR's first jest could have perhaps been phrased better, you'll be seen as trying to cause drama if you can't continue this in private.
