This thread will be devoted to all housemade charms that have prerequisites from White Wolf sources. All charms must be discussed and approved by me before being submitted.

Solar Charm

Flashing Heaven Strike
Cost: 3m, 1wp; Mins: Melee 5, Essence 3; Type: Simple (Speed 4)

Prerequisite Charms: Iron Raptor Technique

Each day, when the world begins anew, the Unconquered Sun appears in the East. In the moment he rises above the horizon, all of Creation is instantaneously bathed in his warm glow. His light travels without regard for distance, covering all that sits under the sky. In imitation of the radiance of the Unconquered Sun, the Lawgiver becomes like a shining ray of light. The Lawgiver and his weapon move with unparalleled speed, traveling with the Unconquered Sun's light as it moves across Creation's surface. His form blurs as he lunges toward and past his opponent, striking her as the rays of light simultaneously collide with her form.

A Lawgiver using Flashing Heaven Strike moves like the light of the Unconquered Sun, traveling up to (Essence x 10) yards to strike any single target within that range. This is a Melee-based attack, with a pool of (Dexterity + Melee + Essence). The blinding speed of his attack makes it nigh-impossible to see by both the target of this Charm and onlookers, allowing the Lawgiver to reflexively attempt to make the attack unexpected with a pool of (Dexterity + Stealth + Melee). This attack carries the piercing tag, as the Lawgiver's weapon partially sublimates into light as it strikes his foe. Weapons that already carry the piercing tag ignore a foe's soak from armor entirely, cutting through her defenses as a knife through hot butter.

A character cannot use Flashing Heaven Strike simply as an easy way to move a long way quickly. The Solar must strike at a foe, though he can continue moving past her.

Note: Ebon Lightning Prana (Manual of Exalted Power: Abyssals, page 130) now mirrors this Charm instead of Blazing Solar Bolt.

Solar Charm

Prerequisite Charms: Hungry Tiger Technique; One Weapon, Two Blows

The wrathful strikes of a Lawgiver are terrifying to oppose, for they are as flawless and consummate as the God-Kings who deliver them. Suffusing his blade with Essence, the Lawgiver attacks with unparalleled swiftness and force. So powerful and fast are his movements that onlookers find them nigh-impossible to follow, appearing only as a bright flash or blur. Parry and Dodge Defense Values are inapplicable against a Melee Attack supplemented by this Charm.

Abyssal Charm

Void Lance

Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Thieving Raiton Claws

The Abyssal's Caste Mark runs slick with blood, pulsing with the dark energies of her Exaltation. She raises her weapon, directing it at her opponent, and casts a wave necrotic Essence at him. Upon connecting, it blankets her foe in a veil of darkness, draining his will and resolve through showing him firsthand the inevitability that is Oblivion.

Unlike its Solar mirror, Void Lance is not Holy but imposes an Emotion effect of despair or horror whenever it inflicts any damage, draining one Willpower unless the target spends motes equal to the Abyssal's Essence rating. Mortal extras who somehow survive being hit by this attack drop prone and curl up in a fetal position for the rest of the scene, too spiritually broken even to defend themselves.

Note: This Charm replaces Ebon Lightning Prana as the Mirror of Blazing Solar Bolt.

Swiftness of the Righteous Cause
Cost: 3m; Mins: Awareness 3, Essence 1; Type: Supplemental
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Any Awareness Excellency

As paragons and defenders of Creation, the Lawgivers are quick and decisive in response and action, no matter the circumstance. This Charm supplements a Join Battle, Join War, or Join Debate roll, adding the Lawgiver's Awareness in bonus successes to its result.

[The name of this Charm has been shamelessly stolen from Plague of Hats on the Exalted Wiki, but if anyone else or I think of a better one I'll be sure to change it to that. :P]
