Well that was a bad time to roll a 2. Hope the defiler only has 32 AC. *crosses fingers*

Tashalar

Well, it's been a while, but we've agreed on a certain method to handle things.

So I'll tell ya that the attack will miss, 32 is not 'quite' good enough.

SlagMortar

Wow, I totally forgot about the luckblade. That's what I get for take such a long hiatus. Since you reminded me, how about a re-roll. Come one big money, daddy needs a new pair of shoes.

Tashalar

Well, that worked out nicely, Slag!

And now... the fight against the Red Widow. That's awesome.

The dragon really got lucky in Kul's match. I don't expect that to last much longer though.

In Red's match I assume that he can still have his Ring of FoM in nightwalker form (he has fingers after all), but even if he doesn't he still isn't in any danger. Not really.

Once again, sorry for the delay in updates, but it looks like DMing might be too much for me with my current schedule. I won't quit, but it will take me a little longer to find time.

Link was more strict than that, I believe... I didn't agree with him though, heh. My interpretation was that if the new form had body parts which could accomodate the items, they would change size as magical items usually do.

Once again, sorry for the delay in updates, but it looks like DMing might be too much for me with my current schedule. I won't quit, but it will take me a little longer to find time.
That's no problem at all, LT. Just happy that you're staying with us. :)

Az is still furthest behind, but we're working on that. And if you've got the time... feel free to update Sera's match as well.

Tashalar

The Mummy Lord is so bad. Gah. 15' movement in difficult terrain doesn't work either.

Honestly, these creatures with LA and racial HD where class levels have been added are just not worth their CR in most cases. The Mummy Lord is a prime example.

Note on Attila.

He left his carpet behind at C4 after drinking his potion of invisibility during the fight with the defiler. He should now be in the same square as his carpet.

Can't post right now, but I'll try to get to it soon.

Darken
12th of September, 2008, 14:46
Sorry I haven't been posting. I sort of lost the drive to enter actions when everytime I am reminded that I had to adjust stats due to lost items, and the fact resources usable to cover 3-5 challenges are lost in 1. I'll try to set aside some time this weekend to post for Skippy.

Tashalar
16th of September, 2008, 02:38
I can understand the lapse in motivation due to the circumstances, Darken.

I do hope you'll at least try to get as far as possible even now, otherwise my effort would've been for naught. :x-eyed:

I'll include that in the update next round - go ahead and post assuming this is so. :)

Well, Skippy easily made it to the next round. Now he's back in a swamp. Yay! :x-eyed:

Darken
17th of September, 2008, 12:26
... swamp? /wrist

Was the belt destroyed? I thought the cloak or something was destroyed or damaged... just want to check as I see you reduce the AC there. I don't have the time to go back and search the discussion today, but I'll try to go over them tomorrow. I thought belt would be fairly low priority in being destroyed... seeing that there's a cloak around me and like 5 ioun stones flying around my head.

Tashalar
17th of September, 2008, 16:29
Please do double-check, Darken.

I included the info on the belt in the last major update before you posted Skippy's final golem-finishing 'touches'.

The cloak was destroyed in the first flamestrike. Skippy rolled two more natural ones while being fireballed by the hellfire golem.

Concerning priority:
I used the table straight out of the book. Bracers are mentioned first, then 'pieces of clothing' which only the gloves and the belt qualify for, then jewelry (rings and amulet). The bracers and the belt were affected. The only issue there might be is whether a re-roll would be more appropriate than what I did.

Update for everyone:
I'm not sure how often I will be able to update the upcoming week as I'm away from home and without reliable internet access.

I'll update whenever I can.

Doombot
18th of September, 2008, 04:26
Likewise. I have an exam tomorrow, hence the general lack of updates lately. I'll try to make up for it after that, although I've got another one on Tuesday, so we'll see.

Darken
19th of September, 2008, 13:07
Hmm... I probably overlooked it in the post. I guess I shouldn't have just read the end-HP and start doing things. I'll update AC in the upcoming round.

Tashalar
21st of September, 2008, 21:28
I will probably be able to update today. Hopefully. If not, I'll have to see as I'm not at home the next three days either.

Just as a note: I'll do it LT-style... those currently at the lowest CR get the first update.

Tashalar
22nd of September, 2008, 05:43
No luck today, sorry. I have to get up at 5 am tomorrow to catch a flight and will pack my stuff now and then go to bed.

Have fun on your trip, Tash! (hopefully it is a trip for fun)

Tashalar
24th of September, 2008, 15:34
Thanks for the wishes, Slag! But no... it's all about work. And I'm online only now after breakfast on my own computer - otherwise I'm on a work computer and busy. In the eves I'm too exhausted.

I'll fly back to Berlin tonight and (hopefully/probably) won't have to continue work tomorrow from there. So! Yeah, I'll finally get to updating your three matches on the morrow.

Doombot
25th of September, 2008, 04:14
Is it really down to just three of us? Or are they the only ones that you're responsible for, at the moment?

Tashalar
25th of September, 2008, 05:55
Naw, it's just you three that I'm taking care of. LT as well, but he's not posting frequently and hasn't updated Seraphiel's match of late.

That leaves my challenger and Majik's whom I do not want to update since he's a friend of mine. ;)

Back home and feeling good. Updates definitely coming tomorrow.

Tashalar
26th of September, 2008, 01:01
Ha, made it!

... and the dragon rolled badly. Badly enough for implosion, but not badly enough for destruction. But there's still a good chance that Skippy will win this round. CR 19 should be the end then - but who knows if the rest of us get there at all, eh?

Doombot
26th of September, 2008, 07:38
If so, it'll be a struggle. This winter bitch is giving me hell.

Tashalar
26th of September, 2008, 23:50
If so, it'll be a struggle. This winter bitch is giving me hell.Yeah, she definitely is. But I'm optimistic that Az will still win this round.

But CR 19.... that will be difficult for Az to get to without a little luck - the luck that Red and Seraphiel had with the Spectral Lurker for instance. ;)

Edit: Heh. Another stun. Well, she flew off with Az's sword. Now let's see if he can manage to get it back. Btw, I won't have her drop it outside the arena. Since monsters will not try to win against challengers by moving them in some way out of the arena (unless it's a normal tactic for them as in the case of that strange deer-like creature from the planar handbook), it's only fair to extend that rule to weapons.

Doombot

I'm about to head off for work, so I don't have time to get a post up now, but for future reference: I'm assuming that you're factoring in damage reduction every time she hits me, right?

If I were to disintegrate her, would she drop my sword?

Tashalar

Yep. Normally she does 2d6+10 +2d6+10 cold damage. I removed the cold damage and the +10 as that equals your DR exactly. Not the standard way to do it, but much easier. And with the same result.

If I were to disintegrate her, would she drop my sword?
Yep, the sword would drop to the ground in the square where she is in.

Btw, Az really had some rotten luck there. He's only stunned on a 1 or a 2. :dead:

Hmm, I have a question regarding the spell Implosion. By the contest's rules, spells will expire at the end of each round - does that include Implosion? The spell does indeed has a duration listed, but from the spell description it's more of multi-part spell. Suppose I successfully kill the opponent with Implosion, would I be able to use the same spell to go for another try on the next opponent as it shows up?

The way I understand it, whenever you cast a spell in round A, it is lost for round A+1.

Implosion has a duration and therefore is an active spell effect which would go away when a round ends.

Note on Attila's fight:
A creature can not hide while observed. The vampire would have to move somewhere with total concealment before being able to re-hide. Attila should be able to see her until then.

Tashalar

Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well.

I know I haven't posted in a while and I won't be able to post for a while more, but I wanted to at least say something so I didn't just leave you all wondering. Suffice to say that with my current situation with work, family and friends I don't have the time I used to and something had to give.

I hope you guys will be able to find another DM to take my place, but if not, maybe in a couple weeks things will calm down to the point where I can dedicate some time to this site again.

Until then, have fun!

That's sad, but understandable. I wouldn't want anyone to neglect friends or family for online roleplaying.

I'm not sure whether or not we can actually find another DM though. Lune is rather busy and I don't think BP would take over... and at this CR level, the matches are very difficult to DM (at least that's my impression from all the issues that come up in the matches that I DM ;) ).

So... do come back and do look in from time to time, LT. Oh, and if you have the little time it needs, why don't we finish Seraphiel's challenge?

Tashalar

Doom -
I don't think there's a 100% 'correct' way to handle Freedom of Movement, but here's how I'd like to handle it and the reasoning behind it:

Those 'effects' listed in the spell description (paralysis, solid fog, slow, and web) are negated by FoM. But FoM always only negates the part of spells or effects that pertain solely to movement. It would negate hold person for example as hold person effectively paralysis the victim while still allowing for mental-only actions.

Daze on the other hand doesn't restrict movement directly. Instead, it doesn't allow for any actions - movement is just a part of that.
Stun is the same - it doesn't allow any actions and obviously movement is a part of that as well.

It would feel like opening a can of worms to extend the effect of FoM, really. Flesh to Stone also restricts movement - but should FoM be able to counter it? Well, I don't think so.

So if a spell or effect specifically hampers or disallows movement, then FoM negates that. If it disallows any actions, then FoM isn't of any help. One could move, but not having any actions means that this isn't of much help.

Well, I hope I'm making sense here. :nervous:

Well, the black dragons are a blessing in disguise!

While the swamp is really bothersome, at least they are susceptible to implosions and don't have high saves. Actually, their saves pretty much suck for their CR.

When I compare the saves of a chromatic dragon with the corresponding sand dragon for instance, the sand dragon's saves are much, much better.

Sooo... Skippy might still make it to CR 20. I guess one more implosion and then we have finished the first Challenge, eh Darken?

Sidenote: Darken - would you be willing to take over DMing for either Red or Kul?

SlagMortar
3rd of October, 2008, 00:42
Turning ethereal counts as leaving the arena, right? So the Red Widow in Attila's match can only spend 3 rounds ethereal?

Tashalar

Yes, that is true. :)

Darken
3rd of October, 2008, 12:43
Tash, I can DM if there are not much terrain movements involved - I am more than willing to help out the matches, however the issue that I stated several months ago remains - that I am not able to access mapping tools or websites while I have the most time to devote to update matches. So if Red/Kul are ok with "winging" terrain movements in lieu of exact coordinations, I can help out.

Tashalar
3rd of October, 2008, 18:55
That would be awesome, Darken.

On Kul's match:
Terrain isn't an issue there - it's just a nice meadow with lots of flowers. The stats for the gold dragon - I think most of it is in the thread and its useful spells have been cast already as well. I can either ask LT to send you a PM with the dragon's stats (but this might take too long - no idea when he will be on again) or write up what I have and you add what's missing (which won't be a lot).

Map/Movement could be described by coordinates - that's simple enough I think.

On Red's match:
Terrain is very much an issue here, but I think (hope) that the current round is about to be over just now. Red has readied a spell when the spectral lurker attacks - maze. He made the CL check so the lurker has three chances to make the DC20 intelligence check with a +0 mod. If he doesn't, the next round is up and you don't have to worry about that terrain.

Sounds good?

In any case... I'll go check to see if Skippy gets to the next CR round still.

I was checking up on the threads this morning and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how far these contestants have gotten. I didn't think getting up into CR17-20 range would be so "easy".

Excellent work, both on the players' ends as well as those of you who have so valiantly stepped up to govern the challenge. No doubt everyone understands a bit better what a massive time sink running a challenge is.

Great work all around.

Tashalar
6th of October, 2008, 06:56
Haha, well, Skippy just destroyed/imploded/slayed the CR 18/19 black dragons. That seemed pretty easy. Problem with dragons at that level:
They cannot kill anything quickly. Plus, the core dragons are pretty whimpy compared to dragons from newer books.

In any case - yup, we're pretty much at the end of the road.

Skippy is done I guess.

Red will continue to get further if he only gets dragons.

Kul will probably get one round further approximately.

Aziraphale will defeat Lady Frost one way or another.

Atilla will probably vanquish the Red Widow but might find his match in the next round.

Seraphiel has a final battle started right now - I'm not sure she can vanquish the very old sand dragon. It will be a close one for sure.

So, yes. It's getting really close now. I'm also surprised that everyone has gotten as far as they have. :)

Darken
6th of October, 2008, 10:05
I think this is the end of the line for Skippy for sure, he has no other offensive means other than the Firestorms... even if the dragon fails save 3 times and take all that +50% damage, I think it would still be alive. I guess I can start to spontaneously inflict wounds, but unless the dragon is not well made it'll have Heal for sure.

My target was CR 25, but got a heavy set back so if I can make it to CR 21 I am happy. I wish I prepared just a single Miracle, it would have helped a lot to reverse that damned Flamestrike.

Tashalar
6th of October, 2008, 16:55
Well, if we'd run it again, Skippy would get much further for sure.

I'm pretty sure that the other challengers would get further as well though, but not comparably.

Honestly, I'd be interested to see how far Skippy could get without his tricks and only with good ol' decent clericalism-shishm. And a decent staff, maybe. With his defenses, another luck blade or two and a staff of implosion or something similar, and enough memorized buffs to take care of a few constructs on the way. I think he would've gotten as far as he has gotten now.

I think this is the end of the line for Skippy for sure, he has no other offensive means other than the Firestorms... even if the dragon fails save 3 times and take all that +50% damage, I think it would still be alive. Well, I'd make the dragon similarly to LT's gold dragon. The good dragons who have a weakness to an element but have access to clerical spells would surely have protection from elements at that level. So the first firestorm might be quite a threat, but it would protect itself afterwards. And inflicting wounds might work as they are touch attacks, but the dragon gets 5 attacks back - and it would probably use power attack as well pretty soon when it notices how easily it hits the halfling now.

Go ahead and tell me how to wrap this up, Darken. Either by making an exit post in the appropriate thread or by stating Skippy's denial to bow down. Then I'll quickly make a nice Silvery One for you. :)

Darken – I had an idea and now have a question:
Could you please take a look at the cube of force that my character bought for 62 grand. Red knows that the red dragon won’t be as strong magically as he is himself.

The cube of force puts up a special wall of force which keeps out ‘certain things’ based on what switch has been selected. My questions:

what keeps out a breath weapon?
an attack which deals more than 30 hps draws more charges - that only counts for single hits dealing more than 30 damage, right?
if the wall does not keep magic out, it doesn't negate line of effect for magical effects which affect beings outside of it - ie: could Red cast Polymorph if inside the cube and it set on 'keep out all living things' but not magic?
I'll get to updating tomorrow. :)

Darken
7th of October, 2008, 11:52
-From my reading of RAW, I'd say according to the table, breath weapons would fall under "nonliving matter" category.
-I read it as multiple attacks would stack in damage, as the wording used was "attacks dealing more than 30 points..." though I can understand why one can read it another way. If it were up to me I would rule as multiple attacks add their damage together (i.e. it doesn't work like DR).
-Keeping magic out and having LoE are two different things; magic effects can affect you without LoE, but you cannot target something you don't have LoE to. Force fields would block LoE as much as glass windows do.

Tash, it seems like your match is currently movement intensive, do you want to wait for someone else to update for you? For starters I can't see the map to know your defensive structures so I am unable to formulate a strategy for the dragon.

Same thing for Kul's match... with 3D movements on both side and Kul wants to maintain distance with constant movement, I don't think I can help much.

Tashalar
9th of October, 2008, 18:18
Darken - I don't know who else could take over, really. Let's think about possible solutions...

For Red: Once Red's initial move is resolved, all is fine, really. Red will fly/tumble away each round and use his minor staff to cast Baleful polymorph until the dragon is a toad. With a 20x20 arena, his tumble skill, and 60' fly speed there should be no problem and the movement issue can be ignored. He won't be returning to his 'hideout' until the dragon is finished.

For Kul: Pretty similar to Red, Kul has enough movement to always move where he wants.

Solution:
Why not create a basic 20x20 map in excel? I just did that in 1 minute. The map doesn't have to be posted - we just communicate in rows and columns. If that seems like a possible solution, I could also send you the file. :)

Oh, I'll try to attach it. Take a look and tell me what you think. If you cannot download it, you can still create it yourself in a few minutes.

And looks who's back - it's the barbarian!!

I really thought that this match would be Atilla's last at the start. But his uncanny dodge and his carpet really mean that the Red Widow is in bad shape, heh.

Let's see if he can keep himself from being dominated (or having to use a luck-reroll to not be) or being hit by a slam attack.

I can't look at the map right now, but I do not think the Red Widow can do the action she just did. I'll check closer tonight when I can see the map. A full attack followed by a hide attempt is similar to Sniping (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/hide.htm) under the hide skill, but sniping only allows a single attack followed by a hide at a -20 penalty. Also, I need to look at the positioning, but I'm surprised she could 5 foot step to a square with cover or concealment when Attila was directly above her (unless I have Attila's positioning in the previous round wrong).

Regardless, I think Attila knows which square she is in, so it may not really matter, but I thought I should point it out. I'll get a post up tonight.

Thanks!

Duh, sorry Slag.

The mistake is much, much simpler, really. I had her take a move action even though she can only make a 5' step.

This means that she will instead turn invisible and make a 5' step. I'll edit that just now. Sorry 'bout that.

Sorry about the lack of updates Tash. My painfully slow connection keeps me from checking the map and whatnot. Hopefully the internet situation will resolve itself in the next few days (we're almost below critical usage level). If not, I'll jump on a university computer.

Just checking in on you crazy folk still at this.

This thing looks to be winding down, with only 2-3 matches receiving normal updates. Think this thing will come to a close soon? And who looks to be the winner at this point?

Tashalar
23rd of October, 2008, 17:40
Heh, yeah, it feels rather crazy at this point. :x-eyed:

There's only one contestant who is done - that is Skippy, Darken's character. He made it to CR 20.

Aziraphale and Atilla, Doom's and Slag's characters are still active - both just about to reach their next rounds.

LT is on a hiatus and is not updating - not even his own character's thread.

Kul and Red are not getting any updates as there is no one besides me who is doing them. :S

That's the status. I am planning on getting Atilla and Az done and was hoping that either Darken would take over DMing for Red and Kul again or that LT would come back.

Hopefully LT does come back fairly soon--he's supposed to host the next challenge! And I must say I'm excited about that one too.

Tashalar

Yeah, me too - Darken was the other one who was going to host a challenge... but he has disappeared as well for the time being. :paranoid:

I posted over on Dragonavenue and will post my thoughts there again as well, but here's what I've come up with.

The only thing that the DMG has to offer are these (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/carryingAndExploration.html#object-vulnerability-to-certain-attacks)rules on item hardness, hps, saving throws, vulnerability to attacks and the like.

We've disussed the divine damage issue when it came up in Skippy's match and came to the conclusion that divine damage is not halved for objects.

Hardness always applies for object.

The helm of brilliance is made of steel and silver. Steel has a hardness of 10 and 30 hps/inch, silver I didn't find a source for - but alchemical silver weapons have a hardness of 8 and 10 hps/inch.

The helm made its save and took 15 damage. That damage is reduced to 5 for the steel parts and 7 for the silvery parts.

The question that remains is when is the helm actually destroyed? When the silver part is? Or when it is entirely? RAW, I'd say the latter as an item has to reach 0 hps to actually be destroyed.

Going with that interpretation, I'd say that the steel parts of the helm easily withstand the divine onslaught while some silvery parts do melt away. The helm should still have hps though, so it's still functional.

Any thoughts?

That round sucked in a major way for Atilla. :x-eyed:

I didn't quite disappear, just been lurking. Lots of demands at work at the moment and constant interruption prevented me from properly finishing an update for Red. I would always type up the necessary [roll ]s and sees the post still unfinished by the time I leave work.

As for an input to the above discussion for items - items are fairly similiar to Undead and Construct in various different rulings, thus I would say an item that reaches 0 HP are destroyed. It may not be totally destroyed per se, but it'll probably be rendered non-functional until repairs are done (if possible).

So folks, look who's back? I see that the challenge hadn't died with my dissapearance, I apologize for not checking back more often, but after my comp died, it was a while before I was able to use the internet for much of anything.

Tashalar

Well, Darken's character has finished the challenge (made it to CR 20, then perished), Doombot's and Slag's characters I'm still updating and LT is on a hiatus.

Currently, Darken is rather busy, but he's been updating Red's match and I was hoping he could update Majik's as well.

Whenever LT comes back, I'll finish Seraphiel's match with him. He's facing a powerful sand dragon at CR 18 or 19 IIRC. Seraphiel might make it... or not. We'll see. :)

I'm preparing for a job interview in Hamburg tomorrow. No posts from me until the weekend therefore.

Tashalar

I AM a Hamburger!

I had a job interview last Friday and... well, I actually got the job! This means that I will start working the second week of December in Hamburg and I’ll be moving there asap. I’m really happy about this, but it will have an effect on my online activities:
I might not have regular online access at first and I will be swamped with organizational matters and everything that comes along with a new job and moving to another city. This will mean that I’ll have less time than I had for online role playing.

This just means that my updates will not be as frequent as you used to and nothing more though. I should be able to get an update in every now and then. If it turns out to be more difficult than I thought, I'll get back to you. :)

Doombot
27th of November, 2008, 00:19
My bad, I thought you were a Jelly Donut. Congrats on the new job though! I'm not too worried about somewhat less frequent posting, as real life is imposing its own constraints on me as well, as you've probably noticed.

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday...whether you celebrated it or not! :D

Thanks you two!

And sorry about the latest lapse... I'm working during the day and looking for appartments or spending time with my cousin in the afternoon/evenings.

I'll update on the weekend (so get a post up, Doom! ;) ).

SlagMortar

No problem. If there's one thing I've learned in the last year, it is that moving and starting a new job takes away from play-by-post.

Hehe, continued holiday and moving lapse on my part.

Everyone have a great 'move' into the New Year! :)

Tashalar
14th of January, 2009, 02:43
Okay, I dropped the ball a bit. I readily admit this. I've moved to Hamburg on Saturday and am still in the midst of making my room more than just a room with stuff in it.

I guess I'll just get everything done first before starting this up again. That is, if people (read: Slag and Doom) are still interested. There aren't really any others left it seems. :\

SlagMortar
14th of January, 2009, 04:06
That's fine. My interest has waned somewhat as Attila's difficulty locating his foes has increased. The battle with the Red Widow was basically a war of attrition and this Ithilid is turning into the same. I have a feeling this trend will continue until Attila loses, which may be this round. I would continue to play even at the slow rate, but I DMing is a much larger burden, so if you want to drop it altogether, that would be ok with me.

Thanks for getting it this far along in the first place! :)

Lord Twig
14th of January, 2009, 11:20
Well... Hello everyone!

It's been a long time.

Not sure what the interest still is, but I might be able to make some time to get some moves in.

I hope you are all doing well.

Tashalar
15th of January, 2009, 03:24
Haha, crazy! It's LT! :)

Welcome back, LT. All is well here. More or less. Nice to have you back though!

I'll update matches on the weekend most probably.

Lord Twig

Thanks Tash!

It's still real busy here in Real Life, but I will post when I can.

Doombot

Don't feel too bad about dropping the ball Tash; RL set in around here too, and I actually forgot about this for a while. I don't want to promise that I'll post here more frequently, as it's still kinda busy around here, and I'm having a hard time making decent posts in my other games. If you really want to see this through, I'll make an effort. I'm sure that there are other people hoping to get a challange of their own up as well.

Let me know what you think, and I'll see what I can do.

Slag, Doom, LT:
I'd like to continue this, actually. But my updates will be a bit infrequent. Like... once a week (next one coming tomorrow or on the weekend). If you're willing to go along with this, I don't see any reason to stop. It's a merry little challenge, is it not? ;)

So, Doom - unless you've lost interest, let's continue.

Great, now just let my phone company sort our new contract (my 'predecessor' canceled the contract and now the same company has to give us new number and equipment - and activate our line which they'll do on the 4th) and all will be fine.

I'll try to update as soon as possible, but if I'm not, then you know why. Having no internet or phonse sucks.

Lord Twig
3rd of February, 2009, 08:37
I slow pace works for me. I am still very busy, but wanted to try to finish if I can.

If possible I will try to update some other matches as well.

Who is doing Red's and Kul's matches right now? If anybody.

Tashalar
10th of February, 2009, 19:02
Another week has passed. I've had internet and phone now for a while and today I've got a day off... yay! Time to update this challenge.

Concerning Red and Kul:
Red is right where you left him off and Kul is one match further I think. Darken took over for a while but didn't want to continue the dragon match due to it being to complicated without a map (which he couldn't see/use where he updates). If you find time to update either of them, awesome! I'm still eager to get Red done, even if it takes a while. And my friend is now no longer in Taiwan but Korea, but he'll drop by to update for Kul if I tell him that 'the show goes on'. :)

Wow, things really have been slow.

Sorry I once again dropped out for a bit there. I will see if I can get through to the end of this. I will update tomorrow.

Tashalar
24th of April, 2009, 05:52
Yes, due to my lapse in activity. A combination of lots to do at work (I just returned home at shortly before 10 pm and still have to do start preparing something for Saturday) and (admittedly) a lapse in motivation due to only one contestant continuing to post was the reason...

Hrhm... I've got events tomorrow and Saturday and a lot to do afterwards as well, but I'll see if I can get back to this. No promises that it'll be in the next few days though. :\

Tashalar
8th of June, 2009, 17:36
I'm not being a good sportsman, I've dropped the ball again. Well, I blame that on my life being to 'full' with other stuff and the challenge not really being all that exciting any longer at this point. Hrmpf. I still wanted to keep this up even with only a post or two a month.

I've got plans to lesten my work load after my upcoming vacation. Got a major paper to turn in on the 22nd and three weeks of vacation starting the 25th. I'll put this on the hiatus it already is on until after that time.

Sorry for not keeping in touch.

Perhaps it's time to begin the next challenge? You've been going at this for quite a long time, and the results are already impressive.
