Yep, im active enough to notice the thead.
Chris Chandler
14th of May, 2007, 04:22
And this will be the OOC for the game - good start Von!
So... My question is this. What were you thinking with blabbing all that to Marie? I mean, Ethan likes her, right? Weirdo...
Vonapier
14th of May, 2007, 15:58
well, its ethan! comon, he just found out that he is adopted and that his original origin is Lithuanian. also his dog died (maybe) and his house has been broken into. That right there would just make me huddle into a corner and cry.:|
Chris Chandler
14th of May, 2007, 23:12
No doubt, man. You'll be happy to know that your character is showing great promise, though. I think you're doing a great job.
LadyGlutter
15th of May, 2007, 01:17
Yay, we're here!
So, are we breaking up every topic ever into a separate thread? I know in your other game you have an OOC for game related talking and a OOC for just flat out talking. I mean I'm all for separate threads for different stories, but the thousands of topics could get obnoxious quick.
So I guess I'm saying breaking up is hard to do. I'm a girl after all. ;-)
Chris Chandler
15th of May, 2007, 02:47
You are such a girl.
LadyGlutter
15th of May, 2007, 03:03
You don't want no drama.
OH, that reminds me! I'll post that after lunch. Now to scape some Runes!

Oh lordy. Look we dont need any drama so lets just all.....I BET 10 BUCKS T WINS!!! LOL

15th of May, 2007, 04:39
Okay, so for your laughter of the day.
For context, watch as much of this as you can. I made it all the way through, but... I'm special. :P
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj9swNR5-lY
And now that you have heard the word "hump" and "lovely lady lumps" so many times you're thinking about making a firearms purchase, I will make it all better. Here is proof that I think Alanis Morisette finally figured out the meaning of the word "ironic":
http://www.alanis.com/myhumps.html
I love the girl. I really do. She's just... some crazy sort of awesome. The best part of this is when she gets to the end with the whole "you don't want no drama" bit.
Vonapier
15th of May, 2007, 16:06
ya know back when i was up there in alabama i just about had enough of that song. Now that i know that i heard Alanis Morisette sing it, i can just sit back and laugh at that song.
LadyGlutter
16th of May, 2007, 01:14
:D
Yeah, I included the original for old folks like me who ... well, I'm pretty sure I'd heard the damn song before but didn't believe it was real at the time. I mean, really, talking about boobs and butts by calling them humps and lumps? They make Fergie sound like she's diseased, not curvaceous! So seeing the real video was a little... just wow. People are stupid. I had to watch the orginal for context, because I didn't believe Alanis' parody. Oh no, she's toning it down from Fergie. Bleeeeech!!!!
But Alanis rocks.
LightBringer, you'll be wanting to wait til you can load that video to see it.

Wednesday posty -
Okay slackers - PRODUCTION is still on GITP, and (btw) is still going, VASH and OUTLAW. Play some catch up and participate a little, willya? S P A C E is HERE. PARTICIPATE here as well (that goes for all ya'll).
Anyhoo - We fixed food last week (yummy veggie lasagne!!!), so it's up to you two this week.
Also note, LG's schedule was wonky this week, so she's working Friday. That means that regular festivities won't start 'til late. I'll do some catch up work with Vash and Outlaw, start posting with Kebler, then catch LB when LG gets in, though - around 9:00 or so.
Chris Chandler
18th of May, 2007, 22:49
Okay everyone. We should be okay, but be warned. 'Net access has been frustratingly spotty. This has been going on for over a month now, and we're working toward some real resolution, but this morning it was down. I'll put an update on come this afternoon before I come home, and we'll just see.
Grar!

23rd of May, 2007, 04:52
About the splitting up, I think we have enough threads. I don't like the extra cross over threads either. Since Ronnie and Hether are the original characters why not just treat that thread as the main, and have any crossovers happen there. If it's a cross over between Ethan and one of the guys have it in Ethans thread since he is the main character there, and the others are not really web based. I think the fewer threads the better. I like the seperation, but if I have to remember which of the 20 threads I'm supposed to post on when I come out to post I'll go crazier than I am already. :?
LadyGlutter
23rd of May, 2007, 05:51
While I'm all for driving folks crazy, it gives me company :), I can definitely go with that. It's a good compromise without making a bazillion "comic book" crossovers.
Aaaaand, I found a new nifty feature you guys, so that this page doesn't have so much crap on it:
Click User CP, then edit options. Scroll down to the verrrrry bottom where you can select forums to exclude from view, and I excluded everyone but Mercutio so I can spy on Chris and Chris Chandler's games. It does keep the public forums visible, but that's cool. I can press those arrows and even fold it up into a closed drawer, so I have lots less scrolling and hopefully loading, and clutter to look at. I like it alot better this way. :-)

No Wednesday post -- net was screwy and I was dealing with the OutLaws.
Sooooooo.... THURSDAY post!
We are still having net issues. I'm sure you'll all get the blow by blow at some point, but anyway, maybe maybe maybe we're getting stuff fixed.
My clan is going to be ready and here for game night. I'm off tomorrow, thankfully. But I work a brutal double the next day, it's going to be seriously rough (samford's graduation). Sooooo, I will try to take a nap tomorrow afternoon so I don't give out early.
It's fend for ourselves night, or else it's my night to feed folks, but I'm still confused. ARE we doing a fend for ourselves night or NOT? IF it's my turn, we'll be probably continuing on the Italian (but not pizza) theme. I have the stuff for fettucine alfredo. That's those white noodles with the cheesy paste to you, Vash. :P That's my plan. Speak now or hold your peace.

Soooo... I'm not going to touch that mental imagery of yours, Chris.
Vonapier! I'm sorry I dropped off RS yesterday, right when I was going through my bank for you. The net crashed for the rest of the day. So, what I was going to ask you was, is that addy axe he gave you a pickaxe, a woodcutting axe, or a battle axe? I have for sure some steel pickaxes you can use til you get up there. And any other supplies you might need, holler. I have a tendency to hoard stuff. I have 24 lobster pots, for example. No idea why, I only need 2.
Chris Chandler
1st of June, 2007, 00:33
You only need one.
You've killed enough dragons that you think that you are one, that's all.
LG's got the hookup, though. She can pretty much make whatever you need, especially starting out. Look me up for the evenings (Ralig Badaxe), and we'll go and do stuff. I can help you with alot of stuff, too!

Oh illustrious GM and harbinger of doom?
You know that thingy you have at the top of the Kuralia forum where we can search the archives? Miss Eidetic Memory could use one here, too, much moreso than in Kuralia. (and eventually Production too) I have that story pretty straight except when other people rewrite the order of already established actions and stuff. This one I need exact memories from time to time, and Giant went down last time I tried to do a search.
I'm not in a rush, just wondering if it's on your radar at all. :D
Chris Chandler
8th of June, 2007, 01:21
That one will be a bit easier to do. I'll work on getting one put up - I'll make it a stickied thread, once I get it done, rather than ask for another subforum. I just anticipate that Kuralia will continue with other campaigns, and needed a single subforum for it. This is a self-contained campaign that, while I see it going for a good long while, isn't as... sprawling as K.
LadyGlutter
8th of June, 2007, 01:34
Right. I have the player's guide for Kuralia if I am insane enough to need a world history. Here I just need to remember exactly what happened every time.
Because I don't want to be like the guy who told me yesterday, "I have a photograph memory, it just wasn't working when I tried to remember that." (LOL. With a totally straight face, too!)

WEDNESDAY
Back to talking to myself. Sigh.... The multiple participants in the conversation was fun while it lasted.
So I found some coolness, better than the personality quizzes. A few things were hard for me. Like the "love is" was the hardest in particular, because that's not real easy to just peg in one picture. But it was fun, and we might learn about each other. If you want to goof off that is. http://www.imagini.net/ My username is the same old, reliable LadyGlutter. :)

Okay, here's my question...
I have some points left on my old sheet. Since I don't have the military experience can I invest some points in Streetwise? Since I spent that time roaming the station, and causing, as well as getting into trouble, it seems I should have some investment in that skill.
Although I'm still fairly sure she did the basic and not the advanced training, this would allow me to fill in most of the gaps that I now see in Heather's conscience stream of thinking. Without that block of knowledge and experience, I feel it alters Heather on a basic level, but I believe that void can be filled. The more strict military strategies and tatics void can be filled with the more base strategies and tatics, of the con, the hustle, and the back-room ambushes. Probably really more Heather's style anyway.
Let me know.
Chris Chandler
27th of June, 2007, 02:10
I thought you had points in streetwise! Like, specifically, Heather was a streetwise girl, right?
OF COURSE - bring it up to IQ level if you want.

I'm looking at this now, and we left David. I didn't mean to leave David behind. Yes, Chris, I know you're all, "you asked what he looked like shirtless!" That's just automatic. I've been waiting for him to take his shirt off. I wasn't really thinking about the situation. Gimme a little bit to adjust my thinking.
LightBringer
27th of June, 2007, 05:39

bump. yes im alive, its hard to believe, i MIGHT be here this friday, will let you guys know by wednesday, thursday by the latest.
It's Wednesday, and I've been holding my squeals for a yes.
Actually, I have to work Friday, myself. It's the 5 oclock shift, not the 4:00 one I usually have, so I'm not exactly sure when that means I'll get off. No later than 10, I know that much.
Speaking of work, they've discovered The Make T Blush Game there. We were discussing pencil leads, and one of the girls was complaining that the mechanical pencil she was using was too heavy. I innocently (I swear, this time it WAS!) said, "Ah, I like mine fat!" and one of my managers came around the corner and said, "Oooooh, what do you like fat?" We had a FULL lobby of people too, and I went completely speechless and apparently very very red. He laughed and said, "How's that for timing? I've never seen anything like that color. I'm going to have to do that more often, that was soooo cool!" and walked off.
EDIT:
I like that method of us thinking thoughts that aren't blocked off. It's between red and yellow. I'll do the same, in fact. :) Waiting on GM to get back from his QC council meeting to make sure I don't clutter the thread with my misunderstanding a couple of things.

And so I can complete the cycle -- I'm always worried, so don't worry about me worrying!
Did NO one else have anything to say about my Samantha Fox video? Chris is genuinely embarrassed by me, which rocks because that's about the only way I can make HIM blush. Because I really do like that song, for real. The video/club mix is funny though. Music videos are sooo cheesy.
EDIT: Nice sig, LB. Lol, you have a flat tire? I'm sorry, that... was not what I expected to see this morning. And see, we're back to paragraph one. I'm worried now.
Chris Chandler

You'll note that it's not there, now.
LadyGlutter
30th of June, 2007, 01:30
No, this board is screwy with sigs. I've already noticed it, alertness and all. That quirk is why I do NOT do sigs here. It isn't retroactive for all the posts before you had a sig, but then if you change your sig all posts with a sig have a sig.
Um
Wow, that was confusing to read I bet. Made sense to me but I'll try to be coherent.
If you didn't have a sig when you made a post, it defaults to "no sig" even when you add a sig later on.
Chris Chandler
30th of June, 2007, 01:33
You didn't say sig enough.

Red Chief just got into the dental floss while I was moving laundry. In two minutes, he wrapped it around himself like 400 times before I found him, trails of it hanging off him. I was nearly freaking out, because of course it's around his neck too, when he showed me it sure wasn't choking him.

Maybe something a bit less, oh, I dunno, gloomy? It might just be me, but surrounding yourself with stuff like that only guarantees those self-fulfilling prophecies. Now, I'm not saying that you need to lie to yourself with rose-colored glasses, but we sure don't need you being Shelly.

We've got a busy one too, and I've gotta go be Florence Nightingale.

EDIT For LB and VON:
I'm sorry about last night. I was trying to talk to both of you at the same time (Von called back after hanging up on me) at the same time as hearing C moaning about his head in the background. I am sure with both of you I was very confused sounding, and I may have even been rude, so if I was, I apologize. If not, just chalk it up to me being overly considerate of your feelings. :P. I just was worried about C and trying to get to him. He's fine this morning.
I DID get the gist of your clue, though, LB, and will try and get that much done by Monday. And Skype sounded awesome, Von. I'll leave C to mess with that. :) I would love to have another way to talk that didn't depend on my InLaws. They've been ragging me about overspending my minutes. Thanks to being on hold on the phone with Charter for all of May... I told them it was a one time thing, but I'm still having to behave. I hate behaving.

I give. Mercy!!! UNCLE!! UNCLE MERCY!!!!
I HATE that sig. I vote the first line, if I must vote to get rid of that second one I will. I vote that life's not a steaming pile of shit, and if it were, any kernels you found would be contaminated, and it just grosses me out to the point where I have to beg for mercy. Please, it's too ...crappy.

Heads up for you guys. I'll probably not be to active for the next couple of weeks. I have my class next week, and really need to put more effect into study time. Then I take the test on the 20th, I think. I have to pass this thing, so I'll pop in when I can but there are no promises. It will probably be once a night. I'm hoping to use the quite at work to do most of the studying. So wish me luck, pray for me, and do the hokie-pokie. I see you all around.

As far as I know, we're having our normal festivities. As a note, though, June was very nice to LG, but the 'net is down right now. Hopefully it will be up tomorrow, but we'll see. It's our turn to feed - any requests?

OH! Hey! This reminds me. You two are the only people besides Chris I ever successfully talk to about music. I'm addicted to an album right now, but it took like three listens to really appreciate it. It's definitely got Pink Floyd overtones which is why I think each of you might enjoy it if you stayed open for long enough.
At War with the Mystics by The Flaming Lips. LightBringer's computer connection isn't any good for visiting sites like this, but you might can go, Vonapier. YOU especially I think will like it. LightBringer's a harder read for music.
It's got a lot of psychedelic to it, it's got freaking the best lyrics in ages, there's some political and philosophical overtones that really make you think... .and the music, good grief! Like I said, if you can get your hands on a copy, listen to it twice through!
www.atwarwiththemystics.com (http://www.atwarwiththemystics.com) is a cool site with clips of songs.
I have links to youtube videos, too. I think I've already made you listen to the W.A.N.D. and The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song on Youtube, now that I think about it. The Yeah Yeah Yeah song actually was the song I hated at first, because of the shrillness of the female singers. But it's okay, because seeing the video I go over it. :P
I've never been so hooked on one album in my life. Seriously.
LightBringer
7th of July, 2007, 14:48
They are going to be showing all the repeats on Fridays. You know why! Cause a bazillion of us people who appreciate good programming made them uncancel it. There will be a new season, so like I said they are showing the repeats.
If you missed it you didn't miss much. Just head on collisions, bombs exploding, saving a bus load of children, a town about to implode, thousands of dead birds, escaped convicts, and other things like that. If you watched it Von and weren't impressed you either didn't really watch it, or it was one of the 2 slow episodes all season. You should try it again.
LadyGlutter
7th of July, 2007, 14:52
REALLY?! They UNCANCELLED IT?????
Wow!!!!! They listened to the viewers?
Heck, I just about have to watch it now, huh?
Chris Chandler
7th of July, 2007, 14:54
Hmm... An uncancelled second season. I wonder if they were able to get the same stable of writers after having the show axed?
LightBringer
7th of July, 2007, 15:08
They probably have the same writers. Like I said it didn't stay axed long. When they announced it was cancelled everyone started writing and calling in. Their switch boards were jammed, as well as their servers. Besides it wasn't the writing that got it cancelled. The show is awesome. I'd even have to think seriously about skipping my other fav if I had to, to watch it.
You can bet when a few million people swear if they don't put a show back on they will never watch the network again, they listen.
LadyGlutter
7th of July, 2007, 15:22

Order of the Phoenix FTW!!!
I'm holding you to this. I have witnesses. No Transformers for me at least. :fun: Harry Freaking Potter!

LadyGlutter
14th of July, 2007, 00:15
I am mad and I have nowhere to vent -- Chris is at his staff meeting, LB is off learning stuff he's already learned.... so I'm going to here.
So I got hellhounds as my slayer assignment, yay! 4th one in drops a cluescroll. Yay!
I have to go to wild, so I pack it in last night and get up early this morning when the servers are low and go get the clue. As I am walking north to go to Mage Arena to bank, I get distracted with a place I've never been, no big deal, and explore a moment. Yeah, I know, my mistake.
Stupid level 55 comes up, "FITE!?"
"No, I'm clue scrolling, you won't get anything valuable anyway."
He apparently calls his friggin thug buddies because as I leave this place, from the four corners of the world come people running up to attack me. No one has been here forever. I say, "Guys, really, I have NOTHING On me" but get ready to eat and fight. I can take all of them, and then my son says, "HEY MAMA" and I turn my head.
Shoot. Respawned in Falador. Just like that.
You know the total loot they got?
An antivenom potion.
A restore potion.
2 uses of super attack potion
A spade.
Maybe 10 tuna & sweetcorn potatoes. (grrrr wish I hadn't blinked so I could have at least eaten them)
boots of lightness
my freaking ring of life which they killed me too fast to activate
a 1 charge ring of dueling
145 steel arrows
What did they NOT get that I really really really am pissed about?
legends cape
clue scroll
sextant
compass
watch
ectophial
It probably wasn't worth the runes they spent on me. Actually, you know, maybe it was, because they've replenished their food stores and that's a fair number of arrows. But ME, I lost a LOT of time and money in that. And BONUS, I get to spend freaking 45 minutes replacing stuff. I'm so mad. Mostly at me, of course, always it's me I'm maddest at, but come on. I wish cluescrolls would be the most valuable thing in your inventory if you only have $20 worth of stuff on. I'm so upset. I snapped at the kid for interrupting me. It wasn't worth that at all.
I know, I used to die all the time. It just really took it out of me this time. Especially with the net being iffy so I wasted a valuable bit of time. That was the fourth or fifth step in that clue scroll. I probably was almost done.
Anyway, good morning everyone.
Chris Chandler
14th of July, 2007, 02:04
I knew that one was going to be trouble - Was it the same clue scroll as the one where you nearly got whacked before? I'll say it again, I really hate pking. I know it adds a dimension to the game, but, well, you describe just why. Folks are freaking rude. Yes, I know that's part of the point with the pking - you aren't supposed to be polite. Whatevs - I'm sorry you had a crappy morning.
Yes, I've just now gotten back to the office, and I'm about to head back out for lunch.
LadyGlutter
14th of July, 2007, 03:47
Yes, same clue scroll, which is why I had that many potatoes on me. The mage of Zammy wasn't nearly as tough as the priest of Saradomin.
The PK aspect doesn't bother me most days.
You know, I made about a million mistakes above, but the worst one was probably speaking. They probably are all gloating about how they killed a mod now. Big tough guys. Usually though when I say, "I'm doing a clue scroll" that's enough for people to back off. It's saved my tail at least 5 times before, so I'm not gonna beat myself up over it. I do wish I'd taken the sec to press the retribution prayer.
Ah well. I have 123 more hellhounds. I'm sure my time will come back around shortly. :smiling:

It's Oden's Day!
I don't know what's up at this point, but I think we're gaming. I do need to see my mom sometime soon (she had surgery in case you didn't know) and we're all healthy again. If I can get Saturday off we might go to Beauregard. There's a small chance I might change plans on folks, but I've got phone numbers as backup in case. Really though, I don't think I'm going to have any luck getting it off, and even if I can it probably wouldn't be til Saturday morning that we left. I just wanted everyone to know of the possiblity ahead of time.

Update:
I have hardly seen Chris this week, so I don't know what the deal with the games is. I know there's stuff Ronnie was supposed to do face to face, but let's face it, (ha!) that's not working out. If we can't do it in the thread, we've got to work something out. We spend the time we have together on real life, not gaming, and rightly so. I'm just pointing it out to discuss, not to be critical or to push you to post when you aren't up to it or anything like that. Yes, I'm stressing, and yes, I'll get over it.
EVERYONE: We are going to see Mom Saturday.
This means the following:
1) I will kick EVERYONE out of the apartment by 1 a.m.
2) I had to switch shifts with someone to get my Sat off, so I'm working Fri evening. LB and I won't get started til 9-10ish probably. (I don't know if that means LB and I will just not game this week or what.)
I'll make phone calls today and may update accordingly. I'm putting it here as backup.

In case LG's connection acts up.
We discussed Ronnie and Heather and are fine with taking Friday off, or at least taking it easy. So I will be out there, and checking, but it's okay if you just focus on the guys there, and not worry about Ronnie and Heather. I'm sure LG will explain this better, but I wanted to let you know myself that I'm good with taking it easy. We will have company ourselves this weekend, so I'll be bailing around 12 or so myself.
Give your mom our best LG, and try to enjoy the weekend. :)

why not try this....
Pick up some chicken (boneless mind you)
some Penne pasta and Alfredo mix (i think you can get this from Publix)
cook the pasta as you would any kind, add the Alfredo mix. Cook the chicken and cut it into strips or cubes and just mix the Cubes 'o' Chicken in with the penne pasta Alfredo mix. Presto youve got yourself a meal, just throw in some veggies or greens and youve got a well balanced meal. Just a thought yo.

SO!
I want to rant about something about Play by Post for half a second. Just a teensy moment.
Ethan's having a MOMENT with his girl in his thread, right? And Chris just up and types past three hours of stuff, INCLUDING the first kiss! Gaaaaaah!!! I had to slap his wrist and make him let Ethan make the first move if he was gonna.
And then I realized I do it too. I say stuff I'd say completely naturally in real life, and then I go back and blush so hardcore I have to delete a whole post up above (yesterday flirting with my freaking HUSBAND, for example.) It was Out of Character, so it's not the same, but it IS the same! Chris keeps harping on how we're not natural, no banter, blah blah in the threads. LB has said to me how it's just not as fun as it used to be sometimes. Oh, I totally agree with you both, too, on both things. But hell, I would squirm to the point of dying if we did the whole Erin sneaking into Anthony's shower first time thing on play by post. Hell, right now, I'm thinking about going back and deleting that SENTENCE.
I'm not a prude by any means. But it's not just Sex Stuff, btw, it's joking and other stuff. Why are we so uptight? And yes, I know, I'm ANALYZING STUFF! But it's just so flipping WEIRD how we act on here sometimes! I can have a whole conversation full of innuendo and teasing and playing with any and every one of you guys in real life or on the phone, but we all start squirming at playing too much on here!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHH.
Anyway, as you were. It's just weird as hell, especially when *I* do it. I usually just dont' give a flying fig and say whatever. But like, in Kuralia, I think everyone there thinks I'm a total flake because I'm the one who will joke and everyone else has a rod up their ass. And then I try to straighten up because, I don't want to be the class clown and goof and perv.
Lol
Ok, I really am done now.

Im all game for the juciy details makes for a better stroy line and building character, and i dont get skurimy when details are said like for instance the sneaking in ths shower that s more of a OOOOHHHHHH!!! to shame part, but naughty bad girl stuff, its all fair game.

I should be there.
You know I'll go into any, and everything. It's no problem for me. Right now though, neither of my characters are in that position. ;)
As far as Vampires goes, you know I'll go as far as any player pushes it to. I let you guys set the comfort level.
Kuralia......LOL

10th of August, 2007, 05:07
Hmmmm. I am not getting my point that I mean to make across, because I wasn't complaining about no racy stuff in games. I was commenting on a need to be so circumspect in EVERYTHING we say that... like I thought long and hard about going and deleting "everyone else has a rod up their ass" because it seemed offensive. And though yes, I see how that could be considered Sex related, ;)..... I'm talking OOC as much as IC.
Maybe it's just me seeing it? Maybe I'm the only one who is having a hard time finding the cross between spontaneity and Writing A Story hard to juggle. I really liked that about Shadow, having the IC/OOC overlap. Maybe that's the issue. It felt more table-toppy. Maybe in K it's just not knowing people, but it cracks me up that people who have watched Donnie play with my panties I feel like tiptoeing around because I think people are going to frown if I get too silly.
And I know good and damn better than that too, and go on and post it usually, but I don't know why it feels so... off!
LightBringer
10th of August, 2007, 05:12
No, I see that as well, but everyone using the OoC for check-ins and such. I don't think they are being uptight. I think they simply aren't used to having conversations, and ragging on everyone else.
You know how I feel about deleting. If I say something stupid or offensive then, oh well. Also, we/I have some bleed over from K. So, I'm a little more tight than usual. Maybe it will wear off eventually.
Chris Chandler
10th of August, 2007, 05:15
Hmm...
I'm not sure that's what she meant, guys. Yes, she used examples of "naughtiness", but I don't think that was her point. Correct me if I'm wrong, LG, but I'd argue that her point was that we're less willing to actually get into the game. I don't mean enjoy it (though there have been issues involving that as well), but rather actually allowing ourselves to step into the game enough that things like chemistry, plausible character development, and naturally flowing dialogue are the norm, not the exception. Talking about relationship-fueled issues like a first kiss or shower sex are easy to grasp because they are highly emotional. We've been avoiding emotion (outside of violent, over-the top emotionalism) like the plague, and I'm not sure why. Please keep in mind, too, that this isn't a criticism, per se. It's my obervation of everyone, trying to align with LG's thesis above.
edit - Simu-posted!
LadyGlutter
10th of August, 2007, 05:23
Actually it's both in game and out of game, and yeah, you're right to a large extent, C. A non "naughty" example would be the stuff in K about wanting to skip telling the kids their parents were dead and dealing with Death w Fangs.
Lol, yeah, I know about deleting, and I generally agree with you. But we both do it lately, you told me about an instance just this past week. Which shocked me, and also brings me to K.
I bet it really is K a lot right now, and the fact that we had one too many arguments in too short a time, even outside of K, which all those were mostly bleedover too. I mean, I went from "Damn the Torpedoes, full speed ahead!" to "oh crap, who is going to think what about this post" whether in character or out. And it did happen rather rapidly, too, all this spring and summer. I cried my flipping eyes out over that fight Heather and Ronnie had, and that actually solved a lot of the Ronnie/Heather stuff.
And this thread is generally the exception to the rule, is part of why I said it. Because it was creeping into Ethan's game and the OOC. Might as well be honest and nip it in the bud before it spreads too far, right?
And anyway I mostly wanted to say it outloud and now I have and it's much better. I don't want to force chemistry at all. Just sick of walking on these eggshells! I wanna stomp em!

Well i think ill jump into the band wagon now.
We could use a V.O.I.P. program if we could get it set up with everyone. If we did that then it would be sorta like before where we all gathered to play every weekend at chris or dale's house.

Guess what day it is, already!!!!
I think this is the LAST Friday I have to work for a bit. I do have to work Saturday morning so I think that 12, 12:30 should be the twin's curfew. *EVEN IF I PROTEST AND SAY I'M GOOD!* I stayed up til 3ish last time. Don't let me do that to myself, no matter how stubborn I am. Tell me what a horrible person I am when I don't sleep, remind me I'm not a morning person, knock me over the head with a bottle, whatever it takes.

Ah, once a minmaxer, always a minmaxer.
So, it's Wednesday. I am OFF Friday, can you believe it? But I have a 8:30 meeting at work. It's not a big deal, I can go to in my pjs if necessary, someone did last time. If I wear the right pjs that is.... hmmmm... lol, maybe I could get a raise before October! Anyway, I have to be up early but it's not like I work til 4 so I'm pretty much for real going to spend a Friday with the group!
Since I'm home and can cook, any requests? No, no $60 Chinese or Moe's runs, either. Something I can cook.
Chris Chandler
23rd of August, 2007, 01:28
How about you fix some Mu Shu Pork? Maybe some Burritos?
Alright, fine - I vote for grilling - that's easy and not too expensive. Burgers and dogs and macncheese and chips and drinks and yum! I mean... I'd really like you to fix a ribeye your way, but, well, you said cheep.
LadyGlutter
23rd of August, 2007, 01:47
Grilling? What, a la George Foreman? Otherwise it won't be cheap at all, when we go buy a grill and all the stuff to go with it. We dont have that stuff anymore.
I don't think you understood. I offered to cook, but if you want to grill hotdogs and burgers again, that's fine by me. ;)
And I'll do Mexican night if you want, but NO NO NO Chinese. I don't enjoy cooking Chinese. That's your domain along with the grill, no!!!! I could cook Thai -- satay chicken and pud Thai and I still haven't figured out how to make panang or other curries, but I can do Tom Kha, yum!
EDIT: Geez, that sounds like so much work and ingredients, I reneg on the Thai food offer.
