Also, let's all of us concertedly together as a group work on trying to start the actual game portion at a reasonable time. I know that we all enjoy each other's company, and I think it's perfectly cool to goof off, and each of us has, at one time or another, been the culprit in a late start (since we've been gaming), We know that the game is time intensive and if we want LG and MJ (who definitely have the toughest work schedules) to actively participate I think that we'd all need to work together and get going sooner rather than later.

So on my way home I was thinking of character ideas. Starting with just basic throw out a role that is in an adventuring party. Thought about a design, THEN I did a little laugh and BAM; the characters looks, mentality, demeanor, all of it just flooded in.

Im doin good. Got a car, 2002 chevy cavalier. Its good on gas mileage and it gets me from point a to b. I plan to get my other car back up here when i can. it will be a while. Im also getting used to the people up here. They all have some sexual orientated joke in some fashion or another. (Thats what she said jokes to seems to be top choice. People who aren't in on the joke give us plenty of material for the joke. Good times :D)

I really miss being in Birmingham but i really love seeing the other half of my family. I don't get a chance to do much other than work now that i work from 3:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. when i work part time. Some days i work till 12:30 p.m. and im totally drained for the rest of the day. Waking up in the middle of the night to work till morning is really tough actually ha.

Anyway, i just wanted to touch base with you all after along time. I love you guys and ill chat with you all at some later date. Right now im gonna head to the basement and wait till this whole tornado biz blows over (pun included :D). apparently ohio is part of tornado ally. Its news to me ha. But ill be fine :)

Thanks for the update! I'm glad you're doing well. I understand about working in the middle of the night, especially part time. Seems like a waste to me, so, that leads me to the next logical nosy question: Any plans for school? I know that hopefully that was one of the goals up there, but I haven't heard anything more about it. Don't lose your focus. It's so much easier now than when you have a wife and kids.

I'd really like it if we moved a little of the shooting the breeze and other stuff over there. Eventually, we might move the games, as well, but for now, I've put up a thread for BS, a "Welcome to the Forum" thread, and a Forum for Kuralia development. Chris doesn't know yet, but since we've talked about it for months, I'm sure he'll approve. :)

2) I just made a thread in this forum named Encyclopedia Galactica. Feel free to add posts at the end saying, "I think there should be an entry on Adam Worth" etc. Chris will hide the posts if needed so it's all nice and neat, but this is also something needed to get started.

Hey folks!

Okay, so we're going to have a visitor/old member of the group/good friend comingFriday, Robert. He loves GURPS and is thinking about joining up. Yes, this means that the group is getting pretty big. I'll talk to everyone about some of the changes to the game I'm considering. It's nothing big, just housekeeping in regard to rules resolution like combat and the like, revisiting rule #1, and "distractions" versus "focus".

We all agree that we want to game, but we all have cool things that we've seen during the week. We want to see those cool things, but we need to figure out when to focus on them, and when it's time to game.

On a related note, I'm going to insist that our irregulars (Celeste, Justin, MJ) who aren't going to make a game aren't going to keep us from going forward in the game. The "if you aren't here you are mine" is going to be enforced. I totally understand and encourage Real Life (tm) to take precedence over Fridays, but I know that we get frustrated when we miss a game, and there's no reason for a large group to wait on a few.

Also, what do folks want to eat? I've been teased with wings for about three weeks now, so that's my vote. Anyone else got another idea? We can do more than volcanic buffalo wings (bbq and teriyaki come to mind).

I go poke Outlawjc's user and it is registered to that email (atleast at first) and the IPs match up (mostly). I do a little more digging and find that he posted in a game (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?p=407983#post407983) 10 minutes after the email turned up.

Very confused at this stage so I poke around for a while more and discover that somehow the email address for the user account has been shifted since I first looked at it. I poke the user profile history and see this:

Which left me at a loss, he managed to shift it over to a new email at some point, but is the new one the email he doesn't have access to, or was it the original one (the one he used when contacting TeamAdmin)?

We dropped him a PM in case it was a problem he managed to sort out (with the posting and the changing email addresses) but haven't heard back. I don't want to leave him locked out of his account, but don't want to act hastily incase my actions lock him out when he found a way back in - or the initial email was someone password fishing.

So I'm asking you guys, as you seem aquanted with Outlawjc. Is he locked out? If so I can point his account at a new email address and send a password reset thing, but do you know what email is best for it?

Yeah, itches, I'll also chime in. It is actually him, not someone trying to hack his account. He came in to our live RP session last Friday, saying maybe he'd like to start playing the online/long distance games again, and was trying to remember his password. He thought it was his old yahoo address, so I guess he forgot he switched over? Which I suppose explains why he didn't bother with checking his current email.

These youngsters don't know how to work the emails. It's so 1998. ;)
