Restricted subforums bite. And you have no idea just how fast, I knew you were going to request some eventually so the restricted forums were always there.

Remember: Let me know if someone can see something they shouldn't be able to, or can't see something that should and I'll fix it.

We have Private Threads (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8151) now that you can create yourself without Admin intervention.

Yeah I know, but they tend to clutter up the place.
Are private sub-forums out then?

This thread (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8151) has the answer to that, actually, in the first couple posts by Danny.
My advice would be, if they haven't been deleted, taking one of the unused former player subforums (like Oriana's) and ask to have those permissions changed, as well as the title, if they'll at least do that. Otherwise, the Private Threads are it, and for the (relative) sanity of the mods, I can appreciate why.

Clutter isn't so bad, activate threads float to the top and unread threads are bold. The less subforums the better and those restricted subforums are horrible. So many times I almost removed every forum on the site while making one.

I seem to have missed this whole thing whilst still managing to create private threads. Not sure how!
I may need to move and private-ize the player threads in each of the existing sub-forums then. :?

Not to speak out against LeeCHeSSS' wishes, but no one has yet cleaned out a private subforum to my knowledge and he doesn't seem to be in too much of a rush to have it done.

I've said that we don't create new ones, and asked for people to move the content of already existing ones.
I'll add to that, that we will not change permissions on existing private forums either.
Private threads have our preference, both for our sanity and the performance of this site.

Could I have a new open non-private Sub-forum, or would that be a bad thing too?
I'd just want to place existing PC info in there so players can find their stuff easier.
If I can I'd like it named "First Principals [PC notes]"
Also, if I clear out the private sub-forums would/could you then remove them?

I suppose I can do that. I am however going to have to ask for a fresh Virgin Sacrifice.

Yes, fresh virgins are better than used virgins.

Mmm, I think a thesaurus might come in handy for at least one person here!
Back to the real issue:
All 8 private player sub-forums are now cleared. Should you wish to dispose of them please feel free. I still need the GM one though so please don't delete that.
Many thanks... and a donation of virtual virgins is on its way.
