I get my exam results tomorrow
The ones that say if i go to uni or end up on the dole queue
I have no finger nails left and some of my finger tips are bleeding from the biting, i just can't stay busy enough to stop worrying

This is also making my typing so much worse

But to make it soo very much worse than all that
unis got the results on monday
my school got them today
so my future is already decided but i don't know it

ARGGGG!

Well if i stop posting around tomorrow i've either hanged myself or emigrated to Mexico to hide from the results :(

well i sugest you take your own advice. Drink, untill you cant see right. Ah ye si remember going to gradulations half drunk and having to walk up stairs :?

i would drink but i need to get the results at 9am tomorrow
and i need to be able to talk and sound like i'm worth having
Mainly becuase if i don't make the grades I can phone the unis and there is a chance beggining will work :P

Still i'm guessing someone is having a party afterwards and pass or fail i think i'll unwind there :)
I just need to stay sane and sober for tomorrow morning
It's like christmas when you were a kid, but bad :) you want christams eve to pass as fast as possible so you can get the actual day started :P but the presents are only a possibility in this scenario

I must say, your system is crazy. As much as I enjoyed spending time in England I don't think there's anyway I could've attended school there. Sheesh. Didn't you have about two months of exams? All the stress...ugh. I'll stick to my inferior American university any day.

yeah the new system means something like 2 months of exams for 3 years running, you fail one set and you lose :)
until my year you had a gap in the middle so it was GCSEs->No Exams->A-levels
now it goes GCSES->AS-levels->A2-Levels
and when combined AS levels and A2's give you a full fun packed A-level
Being a ginea(sp?) pig year really blows goats :(

But even after I finsih these I end up taking exams at the end of every year for the next four or five years to see If i get to stay in uni. Although in theory I should be able to manage that as it will be far fewer exams

Still this is the last bit of those three years, i need to make to tomorrow, magically get good grades and I'll be in uni

I remember the night Itches graduated........it was rather funny going into the hall thinking about Itches falling off the stairs and hurting himself.....but I guess watching him stagger was humerous enough :P

so i got my results today

got two As and 2 Bs (one B was in general studies which is a fake subject that i was forced to take)
none too shabby, go into my first choice uni
and my real B was only 3 makrs off being an A

of course I got 50% in one maths module but managed to bring it up to an A by getting more or less 100% in the other 5 modules

I get the results for a speech I did today, tomorrow. And further results from essays (Nazi Germany and Albert Speer) next week. I also have a test on monday, an essay due on the 29th, and another one due on the 30th. Another Speech on Nazi Foreign Policy sometime around that period. My birthday is on the 27th and shortly after I have trial exams.

there is an article on everything2 about how thoroughly the simpsons has integrated itself in ot everyday conversation. It's kind of scary when you realise how many references you make :)


Yesterdays celebrations were great fun
There were a fair few roving bands of rather toasted 18 year olds everywhere :)
And we ended up lying in a field hiding from someone and being bitten by midges, it was a fun day

And I still havent been IDed :P everyone claimed that the boozebuster (place we kept coming back to for more Jack Daniels and Coke and the like) would ID everyone, but they just let me buy the stuff. So i kept buying all the stuff hoping to get IDed but it never happened :(
