This is it folks! The final duel! This will determine the winner of the Duel Arcana!

Casandrella and Darek will be facing each other for the third time. They have both had a victory and loss against the other so I think we can expect a good match.

I hope so, but you never know. I lucky spell can always end things fast.

Darek strode out to the ring with a purpose. It was time to how these fools at the Academy what true power looked like. He had just received that morning a missive to teach at Bodoken's University of Arcane Lore and The Perilous Castle Observatory. Then there was that grant offer to research new ways of laying waste to whole villages and the fools that tried to protect the peasantry.

All that hinged on himwinning this match, though, otehrwise he was back to casting cantrips in taverns for a living and proofreading Evocation 101 text books.

"Come on then Casandrella. Let's show these fools what a real mage duel looks like!"

Casandrella makes a very late entrance allowing those gathered to speculate momentarily. She waves to her fans and greets her opponent with a bow. She wears her long black dress that accentuates her sleek figure.

The sorceress silently prays to the god of fate to smile on her today.

The final duel has started and just like that Darek is gone, using his favorite tactic.

Yes, another greater invisibility, you can not counter what you can not see and it doesn’t look like Casandrella can see him.

Well she has been casting that off of scrolls. Darek got the jump on her as well. Casandrella will have a hard time with this one.

What just happened there? Darek is invisible, so I didn’t see what he was doing but it sounded like he just cast a spell.

He cast a Dispel Magic at Casandrella’s globe of invulnerability. It worked to, its gone now.

An invisible caster dispelling an invisible spell, not much for the audience.

Darek is hurrying things along, though that last fireball didn’t seem to do as much as it might have.

Casandrella’s spells are still protecting her. She has proven herself quite formidable, she just couldn’t deal with Darek’s flexibility.

Feeling the heat and realizing that the end is near causes the sorceress to realize her defeat. She calls out loudly for the match to end ceding victory to Darek.

"I call for and end to this match, you are victorious. Please spare me so I can save my unconscious familiar."

The sorceress has learned much from the tournament, remembering how quickly she defeated him during their first match. She realizes that she would need better equipment and more scrolls if she were to face a wizard of Darek's prowess ever again.

She bows gracefully and tells her fans that she hopes they enjoyed the show.

Well she couldn't get out of the tentacles and her familiar was about dead. Best to live to fight another day, as they say.
