Torgga grew up on an island with only one port on it. That’s all it could have because the rest of the island dropped off in steep cliffs. She spent most of her time underground, but with her family being the local fishermen for the delve, she spent a good amount of time on the water as well. The underground caves commonly filled with water, and Torgga quickly learned how to swim and hold her breath for long periods of time. When she was young, she learned the basics of fishing, as well as how to run an efficient business. As part of the latter, she learned briefly how to deal with people.

When Torgga was the young age of 28, she was caught outside the caves during a storm. She tried to hope from rock to rock to get home quickly. Unfortunately, it was the edge of a hurricane, and the power of the storm quickly picked up. Torgga slipped and fell, cracking her head on one of the rocks, and being washed out to sea by the strong waves. When she awoke, she was in the hold of a ship, with no one around. She found that her head had been bandaged, and only bore the few scrapes and scratches of the fall. Torgga quickly made her way to the deck of the ship to find that it was no longer storming, the crew working about their daily duties. An older man wearing the blues and yellows of Valkur came up to her, surprised she was awake so early. He told her that he was a priest of the mighty Valkur, and that it was his will to save her from certain death. He had tended her wounds, and offered spiritual guidance should she seek it. Torgga accepted, having no home now. With time, she herself found the way of Valkur, taking he life being saved as a good omen.

Torgaa now performs many shipboard duties, including the daily worship of her god. She isn’t the best sailor, but here previous work as a fisherwoman helps her keep the ship running.

Torgga sports a nice tan, her skin darkened by the common exposure common on a ship. She usually pulls her strawberry blonde hair back into a pony tail, not wanting it to get in the way. Still, it goes to the middle of her back. This allows her four earings, two on each ear, to show. She usually wears a light blue lipstick on what is usually a pleasant smile. Her eyes are dark green, though one would have to get close to notice.

Her satchel is commonly seen on her belt, and an axe jumps to her left hand whenever there is trouble. She is commonly seen in armor, but underneath can be seen the blue and yellow of the god Valkur. Those that know her know that these colors alternate like they do to show equal worship of each part of Valkur's portfolio.

Those that encounter Torgga off of a ship notice that she smells like water from a lake, as opposed to that that is saturated by salt. After a long day's work aboard a ship, she winds up smelling like fish or sweat, but more likely the former.
