From Reach to Halo but Beyond?

I was thinking about running a game based on Call of Cthulhu rules (as in professions and not classes, sanity, HD, Skills, Feats and so forth but not actually using the Cthulhu mindset, gods, history, spells etc)

Based on the XBOX game Halo. Might sound Cheezy, but I like the story, the setting and think it would work wonderfully as a game.

If anyone is interested let me know, only requirements are that people own the PHB, and Call of Cthulhu book (currently I dont but will if enough people are interested) everything else needed I will supply (such as equipment lists, weapon stats and lists, and general character knowledge.)

Im not entirely sure what professions the Call of Cthulhu book has but Human you must be, Soldier, Technician, and Engineer are three that come to mind but might not fit in the book (if not im sure I can make them). There are probably more, its just an idea for now.

Ok, cancel that Opening. I'll run it with 3 players (that way you can all fit in a warthog ;)) but I'll need the book myself first, and I'll have to do alot of creation in the mean time while I wait for a book so you three guys expect me to call on you again sometime :)

Somone's Lover, begins with a P. I have a crap memory. You know the one, in the end her boyfriend(maybe? it was a fairly vague poem) strangles her (i think with her own hair)

Has it set in yet? Well thats one way to think about it.

He has reverted to sleeping "normal" hours, and is bored out of his mind. On a good point is playing Halo on the Legend difficulty. And he is winning.

and let noone speak of the amout of mailing the poor boy has been doing.
