Black Plauge
18th of August, 2006, 07:53
Oh, and Jop, Skasa is currently mounted (as is the whole party). Is he dismounting to perform the action you descibed or directing his mount to cover?

Jop
18th of August, 2006, 13:40
Dismounting. Sorry.

Black Plauge
19th of August, 2006, 05:49
Hmm... In that case, he won't be able to reach any cover this round by moving towards the source of the bolt. It's a MEA to dismount (while wearing armor Skasa can't make the fast dismount DC, even on a roll of 20) and the closest tree in that direction is 45 ft away (and back wards on the trail somewhat). Do you want to modify your action?

Jop
19th of August, 2006, 05:55
nope. it's good like that.

Black Plauge
19th of August, 2006, 11:12
Soltlak's turn.

And it seems that I'm going to have to take more precautions when trying to ambush you guys. Manweh'mato's spot check is ruining the suprise.

My Fellow Gamers
20th of August, 2006, 00:51
He is a great hunter of his clan!

Maybe you just also rolled high.....

Vaniver
21st of August, 2006, 04:34
Sorry about the delay, various things make me unable to check this as much as I would like.

My Fellow Gamers
21st of August, 2006, 10:58
How much info can I divulge my fellow party members as a free action or to help my party members see where it is?

Jop
21st of August, 2006, 22:09
Looking at the combat thread... Siad is quite the coward... He's packed up and left for the past few combats!

Vaniver
21st of August, 2006, 22:47
I expected as much for Meat... but it's not like Soltlak would care :P

Black Plauge
22nd of August, 2006, 03:59
Manweh'mato and tell them what he sees (so long as you don't make it a soliliquy). He can't, however, do anything to help them see what's there beyond telling them that something is there so that they keep making Spot checks (who knows, they might make one eventually).

Black Plauge
24th of August, 2006, 01:21
Aethyc, I'm waiting on Sara's round 2 action.

Black Plauge
25th of August, 2006, 00:09
If Aethyc hasn't posted by noon I'm going to assume a reasonable action for Sara and move things forward.

Black Plauge
25th of August, 2006, 03:22
Back to the top of the order. It is Sara's turn for round 3, but I'll assume an action for her once everyone else has posted their round 3 action if Aethyc doesn't post one for her before then.

My Fellow Gamers
25th of August, 2006, 07:48
I have updated my rond 3, do you mind if I leave my former actions BP? It makes it easier for me to substract arrows spend and other things this way.

Black Plauge
25th of August, 2006, 08:47
Not a problem. So long as each round's action is labeled so that I can tell what your action is for this round. You've been doing that so far.

My Fellow Gamers
25th of August, 2006, 09:54
Great, thanks a bunch.

Black Plauge
27th of August, 2006, 10:17
Time for round 4.

My dice seem to want you guys to see this guy all the way through. He hasn't had a decent Hide roll yet.

Aethyc
27th of August, 2006, 14:59
Sorry guys, I've been busy with moving into college among other things. Should be back to posting regularly again. Hope I didn't cause too much of a delay.

Black Plauge
28th of August, 2006, 03:18
No major delay, as I've been acting for you.

Oh, and it seems that my habit of slicing the map to make it as small as possible has led to some confusion about the size of the lake (as evidenced by Skasa's comment). I've reposted the map, this time sliced so that you guys can see the full extent of the lake. I'll give everyone a chance to take a gander before updating round 4 actions.

Black Plauge
30th of August, 2006, 06:49
The point Manweh'mato was delaying for has arrived. If you'd append his actions, MFG.

My Fellow Gamers
30th of August, 2006, 08:02
If all he does is hide, I will not fire. If he looks like another bolt will be shot, I will fire. So I guess a ready action to attack him if he attacks any of us.

Black Plauge
31st of August, 2006, 01:08
Okay, I need Soltlak's action. If Van doesn't post one by the end of the day, I'll assume that he's making the logical extension of what he's been doing so far. Namely, he'll dive into the water and swim across the lake to continue closing on the minotaur.

Black Plauge
1st of September, 2006, 03:12
Round 5

Vaniver
1st of September, 2006, 09:38
I will continue to make overly optimistic predictions of what Soltlak can do :P

Black Plauge
3rd of September, 2006, 12:01
Given the holiday weekend, I'll give Aythec until Tuesday to post a round 5 action. At that point I'll push things forward again, with or without him.

I hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend, the last hurrah of summer.

Black Plauge
8th of September, 2006, 05:49
My apologies for not having updated yet. It's been a busy first week of school and this completely slipped my mind. I'll start working on the update now.

Black Plauge
9th of September, 2006, 09:12
Jop, Wambli is an animal companion, not a familiar. Skasa doesn't have any mental bond with him.

Also, the barkskin spell will cease to effect Wambli once he's further than 5ft from Skasa.

Jop
9th of September, 2006, 21:28
Edited.
I can still handle him as a free action to seek? right?

Black Plauge
10th of September, 2006, 00:20
Yes, that is one of Wambli's known tricks and he is your animal companion.

My Fellow Gamers
10th of September, 2006, 03:06
Go Wambli!

Black Plauge
10th of September, 2006, 11:00
Since the minotaur and his hippogriff mount are now airborne and clearly visible to all parties, I'm giving Manweh'mato and Soltlak a chance to edit their actions if they want to.

My Fellow Gamers
10th of September, 2006, 23:38
No edit for Manweh'mato. I keep my readied action to attack if he attacks anyone.

Vaniver
11th of September, 2006, 20:54
Soltlak has been edited.

Black Plauge
11th of September, 2006, 23:09
The combat thread has been updated, but I haven't posted the IC post yet. I've got a dentist appointment that I have to get ready right now, so I'll do that later today. If you could leave up anything about your Round 6 action that you want to make it into the IC thread, I'd appreciate it.

Black Plauge
14th of September, 2006, 04:39
Why is it everytime I say I'll do something later in the day I manage to forget about it?

Anyway, I need Round 7 actions and don't need Round 6 ones anymore.

My Fellow Gamers
16th of September, 2006, 04:35
I have posted my same old same old ready action for round 7 and 8.

Black Plauge
17th of September, 2006, 11:06
I think I know what Soltlak's action for this round will be, but I'll give Van until tomorrow to post one. If he doesn't, I'll have him finish his swim.

If the rest of you could add your round 8 action to your post without deleting your round 7 action, it will speed things along.

Jop
17th of September, 2006, 11:33
BP: Although it might not change much... my 1D3 eagles should have appeared on my turn and have acted (i.e. immediatly).
http://srd.dndonlinegames.com/spellsS.html#summon-natures-ally-i

Black Plauge
17th of September, 2006, 23:33
Casting time for the summons spells is 1 full round. The eagles appear and at the begining of your next turn (after you finish casting the spell) and act immediately on that turn.

Jop
18th of September, 2006, 01:17
Ok... Not my interpretation... but OK.

Black Plauge
18th of September, 2006, 03:29
Check the rules on casting time. To quote:
A spell that takes 1 round to cast is a full-round action. It comes into effect just before the beginning of your turn in the round after you began casting the spell. You then act normally after the spell is completed.

Black Plauge
19th of September, 2006, 07:33
Sorry I didn't post continue with the combat yesterday like I said I would. My mother came in for a visit and my afternoon was suddenly much busier than I anticipated.

Anyway, I need round 8 actions now. Also, since Manweh'mato's readied action was triggered in round 7, he'll need a new action for round 8.

Vaniver
19th of September, 2006, 23:01
Only wimps would call this a lake. Back in the swamp, we had real lakes.

Black Plauge
20th of September, 2006, 00:44
Call it a pond if you wish, but for it to be a river it would have to be moving, and it's not.

My Fellow Gamers
20th of September, 2006, 10:48
I am ready for round 8.

Vaniver
21st of September, 2006, 05:38
It's moving since I'm moving through it. Soltlak spawns rivers with his wake.

((Sorry, I'm compensating for not having a ranged weapon :P))

Black Plauge
21st of September, 2006, 05:44
Only Soltlak remains for Round 8. I've got to go to class, so assuming that Van's current presence means that he's updating his action, I'll be able to finish round 8 after class.

Man, areial combat is hard. No wonder I started this thing on the ground.

Jop
21st of September, 2006, 11:23
Ok... So Wambli keeps firing 1's, and the hippo, keeps doing 7 damage... Why roll???
Anyways...

Black Plauge
22nd of September, 2006, 00:05
Sometimes the dice just don't like certian characters.

This appears to be one of those times.

Jop
22nd of September, 2006, 03:47
Stupid Eagle hating dice!
Well... now there are a bunch of them for the dice to hate!

My Fellow Gamers
22nd of September, 2006, 08:37
If we keep it up, Siad will get to act in round 13. ;-)

Black Plauge
23rd of September, 2006, 03:42
I'm out of town for the weekend. The next update will have to wait for Monday.

Vaniver
23rd of September, 2006, 04:40
Updated underwhelmingly.

Black Plauge
26th of September, 2006, 07:45
Round 9 actions please (for those of you that haven't already posted them).

My Fellow Gamers
26th of September, 2006, 08:35
Is the mount considred large size for D&D purposes?

Black Plauge
27th of September, 2006, 00:03
Which mount?

The hippogriff and horses are all large. The warpony and riding dog are medium.

My Fellow Gamers
27th of September, 2006, 02:12
I was wondering about the hippogriff. I could have checked my monster manual but i make it a point not to when I am a player.

My Fellow Gamers
29th of September, 2006, 10:43
What are we waiting on? With the numbers of games I am now in, I lose track sometimes.

Black Plauge
30th of September, 2006, 01:12
Sara's action. Though I think that given the amount of time I've been waiting for it, I'm just going to assume an action and post an update without it.

Black Plauge
30th of September, 2006, 05:26
Before anyone posts Round 10 actions, I'm going to come right out and say that the minotaur is fleeing the fight. As a result, if instead of posting a single round's action you would post your philosophy for how you want this fight to end (chase the minotaur down until you take him down or he gets away, let him go, etc.), I'll wrap up the combat in one more post.

My Fellow Gamers
30th of September, 2006, 07:45
I still want to go full attack on the mount, Manweh'mato gave him a chance to talk, he declined and then fired on him a little later.

I will not pursue more than a few rounds however.

Black Plauge
2nd of October, 2006, 10:24
What about the rest of you?

Jop
2nd of October, 2006, 10:25
I'm going back to the group and not attaking.

Vaniver
4th of October, 2006, 00:12
Soltlak is unable to attack, so sees no point in chasing the minotaur down.

Aethyc
6th of October, 2006, 13:21
Edited my 10+ rounds; midterm exam week is done! (wohoo!)

My Fellow Gamers
8th of October, 2006, 12:50
Looks like I am the only one still fighting, a rare occurance with this PC.

Black Plauge
9th of October, 2006, 01:15
MFG, can you define for me how long is a few rounds? Your bow has a max range of 10 range increments (1000ft) so you can fire for a maxium of 5 rounds if you don't move before the hippogriff is out of range.

Moving on foot won't help this, but would reduce the range penalties on some of your shots.

Remounting in round 11 will lose you a round of fire, but able you to keep firing for 5 rounds after that (a total of 6 rounds of fireing). You'd suffer the penalty for firing while your mount is making a double move, however.

Which option, and for how many rounds, are you willing to keep this up? Also, are you rapid shotting each round, or just in round 10?

My Fellow Gamers
9th of October, 2006, 11:45
for 3 rounds. staying on foot. rapid shot everytime.

Black Plauge
10th of October, 2006, 00:04
Staying on foot and moving to keep the distance as short as possible, or staying put?

My Fellow Gamers
10th of October, 2006, 00:43
staying put right next to Katonka

Black Plauge
10th of October, 2006, 01:38
Back to IC posting.

Black Plauge
17th of October, 2006, 05:27
So, you going to actually do anything now, or just talk about what happened?

Jop
17th of October, 2006, 05:53
I'm ready to go!

Black Plauge
19th of October, 2006, 10:59
Watch order?

My Fellow Gamers
20th of October, 2006, 07:44
Manweh takes middle one.

Black Plauge
21st of October, 2006, 23:35
That implies at least two more.

If other people aren't going to volunteer for them would somebody please assign them (or should I)?

My Fellow Gamers
22nd of October, 2006, 00:46
OK, I will go for Skasa first and Soltlak last. The most injured ( I think Sara was) should rest the most.

Jop
22nd of October, 2006, 01:31
Fine by me.

My Fellow Gamers
22nd of October, 2006, 02:07
I'm sure vaniver will agree so we have our watch order.
Skasa
Manweh'mato
Soltlak

Black Plauge
22nd of October, 2006, 03:08
Sara didn't take any damage during this combat. Siad and Manweh'mato did.

If you want the injured to rest then Manweh'mato shouldn't be on watch and Sara should be.

My Fellow Gamers
22nd of October, 2006, 04:15
I still want Manweh'mato to take a watch, even with the injury.

Black Plauge
22nd of October, 2006, 04:30
As you wish.

Vaniver
22nd of October, 2006, 05:16
Sorry, I've been out of things. Soltlak doesn't really care about the watch order, and so will act as directed.

My Fellow Gamers
28th of October, 2006, 07:06
Dang. We lost a horse. Soltlak will surely take it the hardest, mch less meat for him to eat.....:P

Black Plauge
28th of October, 2006, 07:10
You haven't necessarily lost it yet. Depending on the actions that get taken over the course of the next few posts, you might be able to catch it before it gets to far.

Of course, Soltlak has to realize that and do something about it, even if it is just to wake up one of the more animal competant member of the party.

My Fellow Gamers
28th of October, 2006, 07:15
So we lost a horse..........hahahaha.

My Fellow Gamers
30th of October, 2006, 04:25
Wake us Soltlak! Wake us....... ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.

Vaniver
31st of October, 2006, 09:34
Sorry, I've been swamped lately. I don't know how frequently I can update over the next week.

Jop
31st of October, 2006, 09:34
Hehehe... The LIzard is Swamped.

Jop
31st of October, 2006, 13:13
Skasa would have tried to let his brother sleep after his watch and volunteered himself to go get the horse so his brother could rest.
Might change Manweh`s actions...

Black Plauge
31st of October, 2006, 13:15
Post it IC. I'll give MFG a chance to reconsider.

Jop
3rd of November, 2006, 04:03
So Skasa will go after the horsey.

Black Plauge
3rd of November, 2006, 09:21
Since Skasa is the only one in this combat (at least for now) I'm going to keep it in the IC thread rather than switching to the Combat thread. If things happen such that the others get drawn in, we'll switch to the Combat thread at that point.

My Fellow Gamers
3rd of November, 2006, 09:22
Roger. If it is that Minautor again, I am having soup and his brains as my next meal.:dead:

Oh and now I wish it had been me going.....

Jop
3rd of November, 2006, 09:23
Is it therefore my turn?

My Fellow Gamers
4th of November, 2006, 01:44
Come on Jop, show me what you can do with an angry druid......VADAN VADAN! (inside joke)

Black Plauge
4th of November, 2006, 09:23
Yes. It's Skasa's turn.

My Fellow Gamers
4th of November, 2006, 14:10
I have to admit, that was rahter unexpected actions from Skasa. Jop, Jop, Jop, will you ever stop surprising me!

Jop
4th of November, 2006, 18:09
Nope! I will not! Wait until saturday... when we play LIVE!!!

Black Plauge
7th of November, 2006, 04:33
Jop, the kneeling's not a problem. What are you going to do next?

Jop
7th of November, 2006, 06:03
I'm looking around, waiting to see if I get shot at again!

My Fellow Gamers
7th of November, 2006, 10:35
My bro is getting shot and I am sound asleep......Manweh'mato will be pissed when he wakes.

My Fellow Gamers
9th of November, 2006, 07:59
If he ever does.........

Black Plauge
9th of November, 2006, 08:26
Sorry. Forgot about this. That's what I get for switching back and forth between two computers.

Black Plauge
15th of November, 2006, 11:00
Uh... Jop... When does Skasa prepare spells? As a druid, the default is dawn (though you can choose any time you want) which hasn't happened yet. That would imply that you should be running on the same spell bank as was left after the fight with the minotaur.

Now, if you want, you can specify that Skasa has a night time preperation time, in which case you would have a new slate of spells for this encounter, but we'll need to be consistent about that going forward.

Jop
15th of November, 2006, 14:42
Sorry. The timeline threw me off. I thought we were at least 1 day after the Minotaur... My bad.
I'll re-post.

Black Plauge
15th of November, 2006, 14:55
Are you taking the mounts with you?

Jop
15th of November, 2006, 23:33
Yup.

My Fellow Gamers
16th of November, 2006, 10:13
He better, that was the whole point! (joking)

Black Plauge
17th of November, 2006, 06:20
Time units! (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showpost.php?p=133703&postcount=3)

Jop
17th of November, 2006, 06:21
You know what? I forgot! Too many games, all with standard time. Never even crossed my mind.
Sorry.:∙

This is probably a crazy long stretch... but lets say Skasa thinks it's the Minotaur...
He'll be looking up a bit more knowing that he was flying about before.
Could he have recognized the bolt he was hit with?

Black Plauge
17th of November, 2006, 06:27
He could have, if he had taken time to study the bolts from the first encounter and if he had taken the time to retrieve the bolt from this encounter. The bolt hit Skasa (dealing damage) but didn't stick in him (if it had, you'd have been dealing with Con damage and be in much worse shape).

If you want to recover the bolt from this encounter, you'll have to venture back out of the copse to get it. You still don't have a basis for comparison, but you can start developing one.

Jop
17th of November, 2006, 07:14
No thanks. Just checking.

Black Plauge
17th of November, 2006, 09:16
Skasa's still on his way back to camp at this point. By his reckoning, he's got a half-dozen or so dakika's of travel left. Of course, he doesn't know what's happening at camp.

By the same token, those in camp don't know how far away Skasa is.

So, what's Soltlak going to do now?

My Fellow Gamers
17th of November, 2006, 09:35
Is this a plot thing that we have to lose the horses??

Black Plauge
18th of November, 2006, 02:36
No.

My Fellow Gamers
18th of November, 2006, 03:17
Good, I was afraid I'd have to part with my animal companion for a while.....

Black Plauge
23rd of November, 2006, 11:52
Given the holiday weekend, I'll give Aethyc until Monday to post for Sara. If he hasn't posted by then, I'll NPC her to keep things moving.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

My Fellow Gamers
27th of November, 2006, 01:23
I wouldn't hold my breath to get a post. Aethyc's last 3 posts were 8th of august, 27th of august and october 5th.....I say push ahead. I think this is now a 3 player part once again.

My Fellow Gamers
30th of November, 2006, 16:34
Hum.....BP?

Jop
30th of November, 2006, 23:40
I guess he's holding his breath.

BREATH BP!!! FOR GOD SAKES BREATH!!!

Black Plauge
1st of December, 2006, 02:27
Sorry, the first few days after the Thanksgiving holiday proved to be much busier than expected. I'll post later today.

Black Plauge
1st of December, 2006, 13:41
Since Aethyc isn't posting at the moment, I'm going to allow Sara's adventure to take place off-screen. If he shows back up I'll bring it on screen, but until then (or until enough time passes in game for her retrieval of the horse to finish), those of you in camp are on screen to do what you want to do.

My Fellow Gamers
1st of December, 2006, 15:25
Manweh sleeps.

Black Plauge
5th of December, 2006, 12:09
What about you other two?

My Fellow Gamers
5th of December, 2006, 20:12
I guess Soltlkak stays on guard duty and Skasa goes back to sleep but that's just me.

Jop
5th of December, 2006, 22:36
Yeah... Sorry. Thought you were talking about the "others"...
Skasa goes to sleep.

Black Plauge
6th of December, 2006, 14:24
Van, care to confirm Soltlak's action?

Vaniver
7th of December, 2006, 09:45
He'll stay on guard duty.

Black Plauge
8th of December, 2006, 06:46
Morning. Wish I could say it was "good".

My Fellow Gamers
8th of December, 2006, 09:52
If this is a way to make Sara "disappear", let us know and we will not push the search too much. We are progressing slowly enough as it is.

Black Plauge
8th of December, 2006, 10:17
No, I'm just taking advantage of Atheyc's disappearence to add some extra spice to this encounter. I'll let you know when I'm making Sara "disappear". Chances are Siad will go at the same time.

My Fellow Gamers
8th of December, 2006, 13:46
Oki-doki.

My Fellow Gamers
9th of December, 2006, 09:18
Dang. We followed the wrong tracks!

Jop
9th of December, 2006, 09:30
BP... By that Xbow bolt, Is Skasa to assume that we are now where Skasa found the first horse?

My Fellow Gamers
9th of December, 2006, 10:31
Very very likely my brother........

Black Plauge
9th of December, 2006, 10:37
Assume what you wish. The location does not look familiar to Skasa, but it is now light out and it was completely dark when Skasa found the horse.

Also, Manweh'mato hasn't seen any riding dog tracks other than the ones that Skasa's mount is making right now.

My Fellow Gamers
9th of December, 2006, 10:39
Hmm, interesting. Does Manweh'mato know about the bolt? Can I post as if my bro told me?

Black Plauge
9th of December, 2006, 10:43
That's fine by me. I doubt that Jop was planning on having Skasa hid the bolt from Manweh'mato.

My Fellow Gamers
9th of December, 2006, 10:45
With Jop, truly, you never know. Trust me when I say this......

But I will post anyways in this case.

Hehehe... He's right... you never know!
But yeah, I would have told him about the bolt immediately, and that I assume we're in the same place I got attacked...

Jop, do you also think the red color is blood? I cannot imagine anything else......

I need to know more about what Wambli is being asked to do. I need it in terms of Wambli's tricks.

Jop

I'll post tomorow morn...

Seek is what I'm asking...

Black Plauge
12th of December, 2006, 03:24
Target for the Seek?

Jop
12th of December, 2006, 05:07
Uh... A horse.

Black Plauge
12th of December, 2006, 07:01
Oops. After rereading the description of the Seek trick, I see that it's one that doesn't require a target. Sorry.

I'll post an update later today. I have a test shortly.

Jop
12th of December, 2006, 07:05
Ok.
That's what the "uh" was for... I didn't think it required one... but anyhou... Carry on.

Sorry for the delay, I was quite busy the last two days.

S'alright. We're all guilty of that from time to time.

I've got nothing to add IC for now.

Black Plauge
17th of December, 2006, 15:20
Sorry. The semester's wrapping up and I forgot I needed to update this in the rush of work. I'm headed to bed now, but I'll leave the browser open to the IC thread so that I remember to update tomorrow.

Black Plauge

Interesting choice as to who does what. I would have thought to do it the other way.

Ideally I'd like to be updating Soltlak's combat at least at the same time as I update the action around Manweh'mato and Skasa, if not more often (as I managed to do for the first few rounds). This will help keep things mostly synchronous.

As a result, I'd like Van to post his next set of actions before updating again.

Oh, and Van, if you want to post more than one round's worth of actions, go ahead and note the sequence of events you expect to follow in your post.

My Fellow Gamers
21st of December, 2006, 04:19
I can do that for him. Round 1 I spot my target, round 2+variable I get to my target by any means. Round 3 +variable, kick his sorry butt all over the map. Round 4+variable, eat some of him and grin.

How's that?LOL

BP, did you contact Vaniver via PM to let him know he needs to post actions?

Black Plauge
4th of January, 2007, 03:12
No, I haven't. Normally I catch him in AIM to do that, but I since I'm at my parents, I haven't been logging on to AIM all that much. I'll PM him.

Okay, all my games are currently at a crawling pace so I am trying to encourage people to post more.

Sorry. I'm assuming you want me to post in the combat thread, although it doesn't seem to be set up for combat.

My Fellow Gamers
4th of January, 2007, 09:56
No, pretty much all the game I am in as a player haven'y had a post in about 10 days when not more.

Black Plauge
4th of January, 2007, 15:21
I blame the holidays.

Van, I'd like you to post in the IC thread for this combat. I'll use your Combat Thread posting this time, but since you're the only PC in the combat, I think it's just as easy for everything to be handled IC.

Expect an update tomorrow. I'm heading for bed now.

Black Plauge

Okay, so I spent the day under my parent's house helping my Dad put in some insulation, as a result, I'm now beat. The update will have to wait until morning.

My Fellow Gamers

considering that Skasa herself is more than twice as tall as either of the halflings and the horse is even taller than that.

I know you meant Sara but I could not help chuckle and picture Gimli on the horse in LOTR: " It was deliberate!"

My Fellow Gamers

Forgot to ask, when we found, how far did we think we would be from the others?

Black Plauge
17th of January, 2007, 03:27
You've been searching for Sara for about a saat and a half and could return to the campsite in about half that time.

You know that the others are limited to Soltlak's walking speed, so while they'll have a 2.25 saat head start on you from last night's campsite, you should be able to catch them by the end of the day.

My Fellow Gamers

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

My Fellow Gamers

Are we on hold for much longer?

Black Plauge
14th of February, 2007, 15:09
I've actually been waiting for you guys (though mostly Van, since he's in combat).

However, given that it's now been just over a month since the last IC post, I'm considering letting this game go. It seems obvious to me that we've lost Van and it was established just before the long gap started that we'd lost Aethyc and Reuben. That means we'd essentially be trying to start this all over again, for the second time. Given the way things have gone, I'm not sure that it's worth it.

On top of that, my concept of how I want Dünya to be has changed significantly since I started this game and I'm kind of losing track of exactly where this game is. It's hard to keep things consistent when your mindset for the world has undergone a radical shift.

My Fellow Gamers
14th of February, 2007, 15:25
So you are canning this?

My Fellow Gamers
14th of February, 2007, 15:27
Could we not restart the game with perhaps ony Manweh'mato and Skasa back closer to home, I really like him as a PC and Jop and me both post very regularly.

Jop
14th of February, 2007, 23:13
That would suck for the others... but if BP is willing, I am too. I've only really got one game going strong right now... OUT OF 5!!!!

My Fellow Gamers
14th of February, 2007, 23:42
The thing is I do not want to stop.

Black Plauge
15th of February, 2007, 10:26
So if the two of you want to keep going, where do you want this game to go? I've been giving you guys total free reign to determine what you do next and you have suprised me a few times. I think that's at least partially responsible for my feeling of losing track of the game. If I had something a little more definate to plan for, it might be easier to create something that actually moves forward in a more definative manner.

Jop

I'll let MFG take this and give us direction...

My Fellow Gamers
15th of February, 2007, 15:17
A restart at level one is actually what I had in mind. I think something closer to our home clan would be the best. A little problem with human settlers perhaps.

What I like about Dünya is that we help build it a bit. We should aim for small parts first and go further as we gain levels or when plot needs arise for it.

My Fellow Gamers
21st of February, 2007, 02:20
Never mind. I am ready to let go of this game. Feel free to can this BP.
