This thread is easy. Everytime you encounter a song good for an RPG game, write up it's title and why it works.

Of course, almost any song can fit a roleplaying game, due to the diversity inherent in what can be done with both music and RPGs, so if you would like to include a particular Campaign/Setting, it might make it more interesting.

Peer Gynt's Homecomming by Grieg. Great for a not-too-heavy combat or action situation because it carries an actiony feel without having too much of a huge climax, which would imply a climax in the action in-game, and having your song dictate when to spring things isn't always good.

Any song can fit in an RPG, depending on what kind of RPG it is. Still, among the songs I have:

"The Battle of Evermore" and "Ramble On" - both by Led Zeppelin. They're both about Lord of the Rings, so I can't miss those.

Stuff from the soundtrack of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Pretty self-explanatory. Wagner is nice too.

"Of Wolf and Man" - Metallica. Because "Werewolves of London" doesn't quite set the right tone.

"The Call of Kthulu" - Metallica again. Just because of its name. Actually, it's an instrumental track, so no lyrics.

I dunno... I think I'm better at wargame music.
