Hi all!

I'm desperate for a good game, and I've stumbled across these here sacred boards. I would love to get involved in any game that's Fantasy genre. I'm very familiar with D&D Rules but I'm not above learning GURPS, D10, or whatever homebrewed system you might be using.

Anyway.. title says it all. Reliable player seeks game :)

I'm really looking forward to gaming with some of you guys in the future!

The board freak here, or close to it, depending on the mood of possible competition :3

I am in equally dire need to players for a FFRPG game that's just started. http://www.returnergames.com/ has the rules (Late beta, but very solid). It's not d20; it runs more like d%.

*whistles*

That's quite a lot to take in, but I've just skimming through the rules and it looks really fun. Homework and Sleep are pulling me away for now, though.

I'll dive into the rest of the site tomorrow after my classes. Thanks for the heads up :)

It is kind of imposing at first. The list of stuff to remember is actually small, cut to one path of character choices. It helps if you've played an FF game or two before. Trust me, trying to take all of it in at once is hard.

Noticed the sig. What can a pot of endless coffee, box of dice, character.swx files, slight insanity, and a "starting to look like a member of the Beatles" hair mop get me?

Now that I've had some time to sit down and actually read the rules, it's not that overwhelming. I'm not an FF addict, but I've clocked enough hours on FFTactics to be more or less familiiar with the system. Besides, if this os going to be a PBP Game (is it, by the way?), I'll have enough time to breeze through the rules should the need arise.

Anyway.. yea, playing with this system looks really cool. I've never played with a system like it before (as far as pen and paper go), so I'm really looking forward to getting in on the action.

I've got a few questions, though.

- Where is this game being played? I don't see a spot on the boards at the other site, so I doubt it's there..or is it? 0.o

- Is it being done Play-By-Post or some kind of IRC/AIM chat room type deal?

- There any way you'd like to stay in contact besides this thread? SN, email, etc?

- Specifics of the campaign or char creation?

- When do you want me to start? http://www.online-roleplaying.com/forums/images/smilies/smiley%20-%20wink.gif

Oh.. and about your question.

A trip to the bathroom, clattering, good times, good times, and a need for a haircut? 0.o

Yeah, experience in FF3/5/11/T helps understanding.

Oh, and your approximation of my habits seems right. I just got tired of the flat top military cut. Loose some weight and I'll look like my avatar -- but with color still in my hair/face.

Interesting how you use the term 'relaible player'.

I take this to mean that you can and will be able to post at least 4 times a week?

If that is the case... there may be an opening showing up in one of my games, if my player doesn't post again by a secretly determined point.

Just letting you know I read both of your posts. I'll respond in depth in about 3 hours or so, but right I need to jet to class ASAP :P

Great. My character is created, I'll post him tomorrow after I finish writing his background story :)

He's a level 3 human monk. The only problem I had with the system was "multi-classing". I don't believe there was any section that adressed switching back and forth between jobs. I had planned on making him part white mage or something as well, but I wasn't exactly sure how to go about doing that, do he remained pure Monk.

Well, if a spot opens up,then by all means let me in http://www.online-roleplaying.com/forums/images/smilies/smiley%20-%20wink.gif

It will take me a day or so to make my character (I'm very meticulous), but afterwards I'm sure that I can manage a mighty 4 posts per week. I don't know how often your other players post, but I'm sure I'm more than capable of keeping up with the flow.

Also, if it matters any, I'm ridiculously obsessively compulsive about organization, so you don't have to worry about posts/info/etc being cluttered and done in a half-assed fashion.

I don't wish ill on yourplayer's career, but if he get dropped than I'mlooking forward to becoming involved.

Yeah, too bad about not being able to change classes. It's still technically beta though, they may just be fixing any balance issues.
