I'm a newbie here and have been lurking a good deal and have noticed that there doesn't seem to be any kind of content policy.



i.e. is there a limit on language (obscene, abusive etc), sexual content, specifics of topics etc.



Also is there any kind of Parental Control to prevent minors gaining access to what some would consider inappropriate material.



I'm speaking as a fairly foul mouthed individual, with very liberal views where my own sensibilities are concerned. I am also a parent and wouldn't want kids seeing very obscene stuff. (Open to interpretation I know).

The only topics that are strictly banned are religion and politics of the real world. Abusive or obscene language is limited by maturity and decency of the userbase; as of yet there have been no problems.
Should people be offended and normal discussion proves unable to settle a dispute, Cadogan or myself will have to intervene. If such occasions start to occur frequently, more strict rules of conduct will no doubt be introduced.

This site has no form of parental control. If a parent deems this site as one with unacceptable content, it is that parent's responsibility to prevent access to that content, not mine.

Is your question sparked by any thread or post that you experienced as inappropiate? If so, please point me to any such content. If by my judgement the content is indeed offensive, I will take actions.

Not really.

I've been looking around at several other hosting sites with the possible intention of starting a game myself, and this one has some content which would be banned on some of those others.

Nothing too wild mind you, I've personally fallen foul of some of the posting guidelines on one other site, the name of which I won't mention for being overly graphic in my ;anguage. Again nothing you won't hear in a group of lads mind you..

Personally I'm not fussed (for myself). It's just a matter of degree I suppose, I'm attempting to establish limit really, whilst getting an idea of the culture hereabouts.

Possibly a bit sneaky, but not without some legitimate concerns on my part (General concerns, nothing major that relates specifically to this site).
