I'd like to extend congratulations to the 100th member of the Online Roleplaying Community, Kitty De'Talor.
For being the 100th member, all members of the board have pooled together to give you...
respect. ;)

In celebration of my tentative [epic] title, I herebye raise this thread from oblivion. Huzzah!
(I always wanted to play a necromancer who goes "Huzzah!" when he raises undead/dead people.)
On topic:
100 members in 2002, 833 members in 2008.
One thing I've always wondered about:
There's so little spam here, if any at all, ever. Do you delete members who are proven bots?
And... is there some kind of statistic which shows the current 'active members' of the board? Ie: Those that have posted in the last 2 months or so?

We're a small site so a small spam target, and there are few that make it past the barbwire fence and attack dogs. Even then active anti-spam sweeps (a legacy of the Spam War) clean up the rest.
And checking using my fell admin powers, 193 people were here in the last 2 months, 137 people posted.

Hmm... on a similar note, why is the memberlist disabled? Why, the very lack of discussion about the disabled memberlist is spooky.

There was no disabled memberlist. The disabled list you saw was not of members. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I would guess never posted and got deleted, or only posted in a game and got deleted, or just got deleted for using one of those evil ' in the name

I'd like to think that a little piece of Kitty lives on in all of us.

Was Kitty trapped in a thermal pocket, too?

I've got a gut feeling Kitty's around here somewhere. In fact, isn't there a little Kitty in all of us? In fact, you could say that we ate Kitty, and she's in our stomachs right now! ...wait, scratch that one."
