I'm unemployed and single. I have time to think about these things.

Did you forget or ignore on purpose the AoO Lade was supposed to trigger?

BigRedRod
25th of July, 2008, 17:27
You really need to learn how AoOs work. You used a withdraw action.

itches
25th of July, 2008, 17:38
Withdrawal only lets you ignore it on the square you start with. I then passed through another one (there was no way to avoid it) which does trigger an AoO.

If, during the process of withdrawing, you move out of a threatened square (other than the one you started in), enemies get attacks of opportunity as normal.
http://star.walagata.com/w/itches/AoO.JPG

Still if you want to overrule me. ;)

BigRedRod
25th of July, 2008, 18:10
I'll look into this. I'm sure you don't get any AoOs as all you did was move though.

25th of July, 2008, 18:19
I suggest we just presume you're right and I'm wrong. Tashalar don't you dare PM him.

BigRedRod
25th of July, 2008, 18:22
Looks like I may have screwed up, but I'll let it slide as it is my mistake.

itches
28th of July, 2008, 14:26
I'm not sure running away is a plan that ends in us living. These things are faster then we are, and can run along rooftops while we're stuck in the maze of backstreets.

However with the doorway we can take them on one at a time, which isn't a great chance of winning but it's very possible.

LeeCHeSSS
29th of July, 2008, 03:48
No, I think we need to take risks here to get that leader in a position where he will talk with us. And I doubt fleeing will help us with that.

LuneMoonshadow
29th of July, 2008, 05:02
I thought the plan was to run, though after going back through I apparently made that idea up all on my own.

I'll make a slight edit.

itches
29th of July, 2008, 18:12
Is the table bolted down or made of stone or anything else like that that would stop me from moving it?

BigRedRod
29th of July, 2008, 19:39
Big and wooden. So it'd involve a strength check.

itches
29th of July, 2008, 20:48
That's okay, Lade is good at them.

LeeCHeSSS
2nd of August, 2008, 04:03
Why are we stalling??

BigRedRod
2nd of August, 2008, 05:04
A lack of itches.

itches
2nd of August, 2008, 13:49
Sorry

BigRedRod
2nd of August, 2008, 17:05
Lade can't attack through a closed door.

itches
2nd of August, 2008, 17:37
Why are we giving up one choke point where we can surround (that is flank) the rats for another one where we can't?

LuneMoonshadow
3rd of August, 2008, 03:14
1. The guy is the on the second floor so if we can somehow get him to us that would be dandy.

2. You get bonuses for high ground and using the stairwell limit who gets attacked (one attacker versus two, in my opinion).

3. The stairwell requires less people to surround/control. This leaves people open to guarding the windows.

BigRedRod
6th of August, 2008, 00:34
If you guys are going to hang out and turtle, it might be for the best if we drop combat mode for a couple of rounds. I'll just make strength checks every so often for the rats pounding on the doors.

LeeCHeSSS
6th of August, 2008, 00:48
That's probably best...

BigRedRod
6th of August, 2008, 21:06
Then we are agreed and everything is wrapped up in a neat little package. Feel free to post out of order then and I'll revert to combat if it becomes necessary.

BigRedRod
8th of August, 2008, 19:56
It might help if you guys throw some ooc ideas out there to possibly come up with some IC plans as to how you're going to get out of this sticky situation.

itches
8th of August, 2008, 20:32
Is Lune still out of town?

BigRedRod
8th of August, 2008, 21:27
I think he might well be.

LuneMoonshadow
8th of August, 2008, 23:27
No, I'm not. I'm actually quite stumped as what I should post. Can't think of anything.

I'll try and get something up by tomorrow. :/

BigRedRod
11th of August, 2008, 00:28
If you guys are totally stumped, I'm offering you the Deus Ex Machina card. Something will happen. Something with terrible consequences in the long term. Something that will get you out of the hole. WHAT SAYETH YOU?

itches
11th of August, 2008, 01:03
Harald is going to come save us!

BigRedRod
11th of August, 2008, 01:20
Alternate reality Harald who wasn't zombified.

11th of August, 2008, 01:26
No I want the superfast superstrong one to come save us.

LuneMoonshadow

Eh, I'll get something up tonight. Probably will end up just being filler but we'll see.

I think it is time for the Deus Ex Rodina

BigRedRod
14th of August, 2008, 18:36
I was hoping for more agreement than just silence. I'll post tonight.

BigRedRod
15th of August, 2008, 04:28
[19:19] <BigRedRod> Deus Ex Machina happened in NS
[19:21] <itches> guards showed up?
[19:21] <BigRedRod> READ ON McDUFF
[19:22] <itches> I have no clue who the "Aart" are
[19:22] <BigRedRod> People who live on the Jedaart
[19:22] <BigRedRod> http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3536
[19:24] <BigRedRod> i.e. Like Harald
[19:24] <itches> ah
[19:24] <itches> So Harald did come to save us all?
[19:24] <BigRedRod> FROM BEYOND TIME AND SPACE
[19:24] <BigRedRod> Or did he?
[19:24] <itches> That wasn't Harald we captured, it was a mask!
[19:24] <itches> Yes he did
[19:24] <itches> It has been decided
[19:24] <itches> You can't change it now
[19:26] <BigRedRod> It was just a bear dressed up as Haarald
[19:26] <BigRedRod> Or maybe the bear-Harald is who has rescused you!
[19:27] <itches> bless that bearharald
[19:27] <itches> We should take him back and fight the army of rats

LuneMoonshadow
16th of August, 2008, 11:10
It is very strange to be saved, since traditionally it is the other way around. I'll get a post up soon most likely dealing with this reversal of roles once I can manage to figure out how to make it more than "omfg we're saved, how ironic."

itches
16th of August, 2008, 11:17
We're not saved, the Aart are invading. War!

LuneMoonshadow
22nd of August, 2008, 09:38
Just posting to say that I have nothing truly important to say (besides "Don't blame us, you bastard") so I vote that we go back to the temple as Finn suggested.

itches
25th of August, 2008, 15:52
Well there is good news and there is bad news.

The good news is that I have a plan to get us through the crowd and also to save the world.

The bad news is that I have a plan to get us through the crowd and also to save the world.

Flagg Thornington
26th of August, 2008, 11:30
What is it then?

I hope it does not involve reviving the mage rat and asking him to clear the plaza with fireballs.

itches
26th of August, 2008, 12:41
I'm currently doing my "Is this so insane as to be suicidal" thinking thing.

BigRedRod
26th of August, 2008, 19:51
Have everybody dress as a rat and rush the crowd?

Flagg Thornington
27th of August, 2008, 11:42
Harald's brother's crew would be really handy right now. Don't we have a mass teleport scroll somewhere? Really anyone have an idea?

itches
27th of August, 2008, 12:58
We hold the rat froth and start yelling "We caught one, let us through!"

LeeCHeSSS
27th of August, 2008, 19:00
Or, if the temple is within 140 feet of where we are now, Nabi could use his message spell to ask for aid from within the temple...

BigRedRod
27th of August, 2008, 19:11
No, this is a very big square and you're not on the temple side.

LuneMoonshadow
27th of August, 2008, 21:23
I am half tempted to preach to these people, If they seek aid, this would be a perfect time for Malk to scold them for their transgressions. Oh so tempting.

If we need to get through we could try donning the "badass hero" mantle and trying to get through by convincing the people that we're here to save them so they let us up to the temple. It'll involve some yelling/showmanship to get some attention before people start parting the crowd though (assuming it even works).

itches
28th of August, 2008, 06:03
Now would be a great time to convert people to become a moonbringer.

LuneMoonshadow
28th of August, 2008, 10:58
If we have no other plans, I vote that we try the convert approach.

We may not recruit them (not the real purpose anyway) but if I can strike fear into them by using abstract terminology and vague references to evil they may let us through with the intent of us "saving them".

This would, of course, make us the defacto saviors. Meaning if this storm kills everything then it is our fault. Then again, that could make for some awesome roleplaying. Trying to save the world even though everyone despises you.

Flagg Thornington
28th of August, 2008, 10:59
We could use the rat as a prop and boast of our skills, but this is a mob. We should be wary.

itches
28th of August, 2008, 12:50
I don't see preaching and trying to cow a mob of several thousand is going to work, the best case senario has them listen to us which doesn't get us to the temple. My suggestion of "we caught one, let us through" was genuine, not a joke.

LeeCHeSSS
28th of August, 2008, 19:55
Or we split up; one group keeps the rat hidden away from the mob, the other group goes to the temple to arrange some sort of escort or better yet a quick teleport...

itches
28th of August, 2008, 20:04
I thought of that and it isn't perfect. Even without the rat it would be a struggle to get through the crowd and into the temple. And splitting up is never fun for a game.

LuneMoonshadow
30th of August, 2008, 00:44
The "caught one" strategy is fine with me. Let's get rollin'. Or something.

itches
31st of August, 2008, 11:53
Let this be a lesson to you BRR, if you do something we don't expect we will call your bluff and up the stakes.

itches
3rd of September, 2008, 11:16
I submit you fail at roleplaying a mob. They should have praised us as champions and carried us to the temple upon their shoulders.

LuneMoonshadow
3rd of September, 2008, 11:29
I cried myself to sleep last night knowing that the mob hated me.

In other news, I'll get a post up on the morrow since it's about time I posted something. Plus it's a good point for Malk since he just incited a riot. Hell yeah, he's that awesome.

itches
3rd of September, 2008, 11:30
I'm a little annoyed that I didn't get a chance to have Lade pretend that he didn't know who Malk was, or join in the riot.

Damn Moonbringers.

BigRedRod
3rd of September, 2008, 21:21
Malk can't hog all the credit. The crowd was angry, and while Malk may have been dressed as a badguy, it was Lade who was carrying one.

itches
3rd of September, 2008, 21:29
Yes, he was carrying an unconcious and bloody enemy and yelling that he had captured it. Clearly he is on the side of the rats!

BigRedRod
3rd of September, 2008, 22:42
Luckily the angry mob was smart enough to see through such a sham of a disguise.

itches
3rd of September, 2008, 23:01
Damn angry mobs, can't do anything right. This is why I only use A-Grade murderous thugs in my plans, smart enough to do it right, stupid enough to do it anyway.

BigRedRod
9th of September, 2008, 01:47
I really want more players posts before I carry on. Lots of stuff has happened, so it'd be nice if I could act on more than a single post here, even if it's more just internal stuff.

Don't expect anything from me before the weekend.

BigRedRod
10th of September, 2008, 19:26

LeeCHeSSS
11th of September, 2008, 17:26
Oh, so you're the one who gave me this cold! Or was it the wet cold ground on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit I've been sitting on the past weekend...?

BigRedRod
16th of September, 2008, 07:16
This game has been a bit quiet, so I'm posting a chatlog.

[22:12] <BigRedRod> Operation FIGHT THE RIOT
[22:12] <BigRedRod> Don't do that
[22:13] <BigRedRod> Running a combat with a couple of hundred level one commoners could be a frightful bore
[22:13] <BigRedRod> Plus you guys are nearly dead in NS
[22:13] <BigRedRod> You really need to rest
[22:13] <BigRedRod> and maybe keep your deal with Gredrin before he deploys his army of clones
[22:13] <BigRedRod> EXECUTE ORDER 66
[22:14] <itches> no time for sleep, the world is ending!
[22:14] <itches> who is Gredrin?
[22:14] <BigRedRod> Harald's brother
[22:14] <BigRedRod> The one who saved you from the rats
[22:15] <itches> oh

LeeCHeSSS
17th of September, 2008, 05:15
No, I'm at fault too, but I haven't had time due to work to even make a simple post where Nabi states he wants to rest :(

Perhaps I should just accept that there's no cool way to say "I'm tired, can I sleep now?"

BigRedRod
18th of September, 2008, 21:39
Team magic user should reassign the spells of the day.

Flagg Thornington
20th of September, 2008, 12:47
I apologize for being so scarce lately. I as well have been busy with many different undertakings.

Try to prepare a spell to close their gateway and set us up with peace in treasure valley.

LuneMoonshadow
24th of September, 2008, 09:56
Well, I finally got a computer.

My last one crashed on the 8th (last login) and this is the first I've gotten my hands on a new rig. So I'm finally back, but I'm still in the process of getting the damn thing to run smoothly. Planning on posting tomorrow/Thurs depending on what this damn thing does.

itches

I presume we all want to stay, so we dont need to roleplay the discussion itself.

I'm amazed that you were without a comp for almost a month, I've had my posting time drop dramaticly, Flagg has been busy and the game is still going at normal speed.
I can't tell if I'm being damned with faint praise or not here.

LeeCHeSSS
25th of September, 2008, 03:07
I'm not sure staying is the best option... If we do stay, I reckon the safest place to use as a base of operation is going to be the mageguild, but I really doubt our party can do anything besides kill a few rats before we need to recover again. If we leave the city, this game probably evolves into a guerilla warfare type of game, with our party hitting increasingly more important targets in an attempt to undo the damage them rats have caused. Ofcourse, there's also the possibility that Tim posts one grand last post in where the rats overwhelm the whole world and our heroes die a horrible death...

itches
25th of September, 2008, 18:54
If we leave the city I doubt we'll ever see the rats again. This region will become a rat region, where they will encounter the same problems everyone else is encountering (ghosts, the lack of a red moon).

What we can do is what PCs do best. We can go out and try to dig into stuff about the red moon, the cultists. Remember, the rats aren't the primary foe here.

And I really doubt the Mageguild would have anything to do with us. We'd be better off hooking up with the remaining clerics.

LuneMoonshadow
26th of September, 2008, 11:23
Leaving would be the smarter thing to do, but I think the harrowing adventure of surviving the storm and rat invasion in an attempt to discern the cause of all of this is far more fun. Plus it's more in line with what Malk would do.

As for the mages, I doubt they would help us overtly but maybe they'd let us look over some tomes if that is what we decide to do. Then again, I'm not sure now is the best time to read... but if we are staying to find a cause for the storm, then that isn't a wholeheartedly bad idea.

itches
26th of September, 2008, 21:57
Maybe we could barter with the mages with something, for access to their info and help. Do you think they'd want a slightly used rat?

LuneMoonshadow
26th of September, 2008, 23:07
Throw some lavender on him to make him smell better and there is no way they wouldn't say yes.

BigRedRod
30th of September, 2008, 18:27
Well you seem to have agreed you're staying. So what exactly are you going to do while the temple busily sets about preparing to leave?

itches
30th of September, 2008, 18:31
Wait for the bard to leave?

BigRedRod
30th of September, 2008, 19:11
I don't really have an opening to kill him yet but he's on the list and as soon as there is an opportunity he'll have a horrible accident.

LuneMoonshadow
30th of September, 2008, 23:28
I would like to go visit the mages before the city empties out. That way if they turn us away then we can go about protecting/helping the clerics.

LeeCHeSSS
1st of October, 2008, 18:59
I agree with LuneMoonshadow.

BigRedRod
1st of October, 2008, 19:55
Then post something decisive in the IC, Danny, and I'll make it so.

BigRedRod
12th of October, 2008, 20:25
If there's nothing in particular you'd like to do while the city evacuates then I can just skip ahead a little bit. I just want to make sure that you have a chance to do anything you might want to before certain avenues are closed forever.

LuneMoonshadow
13th of October, 2008, 13:41
Is this in addition to checking up on the city guard?

If so, then carry on. If not, then I hereby add that to the to-do list before we die.

itches
13th of October, 2008, 18:10
I wouldn't mind a description of what we see as we are wondering the streets. Ie are people looting?

BigRedRod
13th of October, 2008, 18:34
You ain't wandered no streets yet, and going to see Cassio seemed like a vague idea rather than a plan. I shall post with the exciting results forthwith (I'm not exactly sure when but hopefully today).

LuneMoonshadow
14th of October, 2008, 13:14
Well, I can solidify that idea for ya'.

I'd like to know what the guards are planning for the evacuation. Basically how they will escort the people out, what the plan is for refugee camps, and how many guards will remain in the city.

If guards are staying, what are they defending? Places? People? Does the Ward-Sheriff plan on staying? Has he heard from any of the other churches/magic organizations about their plans for the storm?

Has word about the portal spread?

Just lots of questions I have, essentially.

LuneMoonshadow
21st of October, 2008, 05:55
I really don't have anything noteworthy to add to the IC thread. Mostly just a "Hmm... fine. Let's go." while looking badass. The usual.

BigRedRod
21st of October, 2008, 07:10
I'm sure I used to have some other players besides you two. If you are all agreed though we can go and see what Cassio has to say.

It depends on what the party are doing really as to quite when you join. It may be the start of the next chapter, or it might be in this one.

Once I see what the plans are then I'll be able to tell you how long I expect it to be.

BigRedRod

Oh, I misread that as you expecting cultists to show up at the end of the IC introducing Captain Evangelical.

Well, you'd best get cracking on that character then if such things are to be options, Tashalar.

LuneMoonshadow
14th of November, 2008, 11:13
I cannot decide if casting Silence is worth it. Yes, it is humorous and it shuts him up, but it could also raise concerns among the lay-folk plus it uses up a valuable spell.

Cast your votes.

itches
14th of November, 2008, 11:28
No, we'll need that healing later on. We can just cast "punch-in-face" if we really need him to be silent.

Tashalar
14th of November, 2008, 18:28
Well, if he manages to get out of the silenced area, he can proclaim that the mages are trying to silence him for speaking the truth, heh.

Edit: And I'm 'working' on the character today.

Speaking of backstories, I sat down to a f2f game on Sunday night for the first time in years, and had to make a character. Only unlike when I'm doing it online, I didn't have weeks to come up with it all. Out of desperation I just threw together a fighter, and gave him Lade's backstory.

Hrm, I can't think of any spellcasting approach to this situation that won't seem either outright brutal, or (indirectly) confirms the cultist's words.

Hey everyone,

I had a job interview last Friday and... well, I actually got the job! This means that I will start working the second week of December in Hamburg and I’ll be moving there asap. I’m really happy about this, but it will have an effect on my online activities:
I might not have regular online access at first and I will be swamped with organizational matters and everything that comes along with a new job and moving to another city. This will mean that I’ll have less time than I had for online role playing.

I'm not quitting any games and I still very much want to join this one. Therefore I'll get a background up (finally) asap and get my character ready to join at some point soonish - or whenever BRR is ready. I just won't be as much of a troll as I used to or post quite as frequently as before. :)

Update on my part:
I'm busy working during the day and busy looking for rooms/appartments during the afternoon/evening - or spending time with my cousin where I'm staying.

Work is great - I've got a lot to look into and a lot of contacts to 'take over' from my predecessor, but altogether it seems like a superb job. And the team is really nice as well (judging from two days of work, that is) - let's hope it stays that way.

I'm working more than my usual 30 hours a week to make up for the time between Christmas and the New Year where work is closed - that is when I've got time to finish my character. Two weeks of vacation. Pure awesomeness. :)

BRR - what Kjetil wants to do is move in with the red robes and take away one of the red robes. Question is, how sensible is this? Are they all carrying red robes? Are they walking past nearbye? Are they very alert, aggressive?

He might join their march, trip one of the larger ones (accidentally) and take away his cloak. Or something like that. Like die trying. ;)
Depending on your info, he might as well simply trail them on the side.

BigRedRod

Well, I won't kill Malk, but we're going to need to do some swift retooling to get his game moving again with just the busy Mr itches and the so far not in the party Mr Tashalar.

Perhaps we can discuss in an ooc manner what you guys see as happening in the immediate IC future so that we can jump cut a bit forwards to some situation involving Lade and Kjetil (and hopefully two or three new characters, a divine, an arcane and maybe something more utility?) which is more direct actable. So a bit like a new start in some ways.

Hmmm. And we could always go 4e if that floats your boat, but that is debatable. Either way, I think we need to do quite a reshake to get this rolling again.

itches
13th of March, 2009, 08:15
I don't want 4e for this game. It's 3e, let's leave it that way.

Tashalar
16th of March, 2009, 21:01
I'm for 3e all the way. 4e hasn't really caught my interest and I don't have the time or motivation to get into a new set of rules.

Other than that... I'm pretty open to anything (which rarely helps the DM, I know), but I'm also still hoping for Lune's return. The situation which we have currently is not really great with only 'busy-itches' and 'also-busy-Tash-who's-not-even-yet-part-of-the-party'.

Not quite sure how to proceed right now. Will get back to you later this week. :)

Um... hm. I'm pretty busy myself still - but that won't last much longer than the next two weeks (most probably). This should give you/us time to find those to Mr.s that you mentioned...

Thoughts on players... nope, not really. Those that I'd suggest have not been to this site in a while. I could try to get a player or two interested from another site though (I did mention this before, right?). My replies will be slow at the moment - just a fair warning.

15th of July, 2009, 19:15
In the shower this morning I was pondering this game.

So when (see how I say when and not if!) it restarts I think I've got the little missing pieces of where we'd take up from.

Four days have past since the Moonbringers turned up with cap in hand at the doorway to the temple. Four days since the diplomatic geometry of Edinway had changed so significantly that the established priesthood and protectorate of the dead city had joined forces with the fanatical moon cultists.

It was not lightly that the truce was signed but an old, broken wizard's tower in an abandoned section of the city was host to a rip in the very fabric of the world. And from the outside came the Kyrdol, rat-creatures fleeing their own desolate side of reality for a life within Aos. A life with a soul. As each bundle of filthy fur stepped through the crack, it widened a little and the distinction between the world outside and the world within this particular planar sphere became less distinct.

And so came the storm. Clouds cracking with their own internal red lightning which never cared to lash out at the world beneath and occasional shafts of brilliant white which would snatch up whatever they struck leaving a patch of abhorrent vacuum which the surrounding city would quickly converge upon with a loud boom and usually some structural damage to whatever lay beside. That which the white light stole would return back into existence in some other place beneath the storm, usually dropping back towards the ground with disastrous consequences.

It is the storm which marks the size of the tear, although the fissure itself lies in the very eye, at the Broken Tower. When the rats started arriving it grew at a frighteneing rate, but it was not long before internal disputes dramatically slowed the rate of expansion. And so the world did not end overnight.

The wizards of Edinway, The Magewright's Guild, hid themselves away. Sealing their doors closed and refusing contact with the outside world. Upon occasion a group of such magicians would been seen walking the wrecked roads of the city usually in the presence of bizzare arcane constructs, designed for manual labour or defense from packs of roving rats.

It was the Moonbringers themselves who held part of the way to plug the hole. Methods for crafting vast mystic diagrams. Ancient magics which could extend a ritual from having an area of a few dozen square feet to covering an entire city. These great arcane circles would require tremendous sacrifice, research and resources and with their structure of independent cells, distributed resources and specialist interests they could not design a ritual to seal the breach.

Neither could the Cathedral of Pelor. But they did have the understanding to take what the Moonbringer's offered and design the Dimensional Locks. Thirteen obelisks would be constructed around the fringe of the city and they would prevent any further expansion of the hole between the worlds and the storm above. It would not stop more rats arriving, but it would vastly reduce the speed of growth to perhaps one or two additions per day. Of course, the rats now outnumber all other races in the city.

And then we'd start with the raising of the thirteenth obelisk I think. The party being tasked with supervising.

Malkanus would leave the party when the truce was signed unable to deal with collaboration with what he saw as a horrible, twisted insult to his religion. I think Nabi might be a useful NPC at the start. Kjetil would have joined up following the last chapter. And then we'd need two or three other players as two fighters alone die quickly.

Mmhm... defense (or was that supervision) of the raising of the thirteenth obelisk - that sounds interesting. ;)

A success would therefore mean that the spreading would be mostly stopped - but further rats arrive and they can spread out throughout the city and beyond? Or are they barred as well?

Kjetil would obviously aid in such an act - it sounds like a task set before him, a challenge, a test, his duty before the gods.

If I ever do not react to a post here, do send me an email :)

If the ritual is complete then the rift can't grow so long as it remains in action, so it reduces the number of beings which can cross from "infinite" to "a couple a day". Once the rats are here though, they can go whereever they like.

Right, well Stringbean seems to want in, and now I've got an ad up. So that's how I be rollin'.

If either of you two want new characters or whatever, then let me know, as it'd be a perfectly fine time to change up.

Okay so what happened to Malk?

BigRedRod

I was going to have him storm off as he was unable to accept a truce with the "false" Moonbringers.

Well that's no fun.

Well Lune has vanished (I can't even find him on email), and I'd like to keep his character about for throwing at you as another not-undead zombie monster thingy.

It might help the new players if you worked on this (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6501)

It's only been over three years since it was posted, with no visible update history...I'm sure it's fairly current, right?

Not that I'm much better (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6491).

As BRR is an admin, there never would be a visable edit history. But I guess it is what all the cool kids are doing (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8475)

And... wha? Wonder why those didn't work. Let's try again, I guess. If this doesn't work, I think I need a bit of help. Well, I definitely need help, but in this case it's specific help.

Ah excellent, progress.

And it might help you if you watched your mouth.

Yeah, I really hate point buy and standard arrays and things. I like to live dangerously. Or I like you guys to live dangerously anyhow.

And I really should update the game summary.
