Aw, so I finally get my hands on the book and nobody has any interest. Damn it! I want to stab something with a lightsaber!

is the SW d20 RPG any good?
i keep thinking about picking it up but never bother

Someone prove to me that it is good and not as cheesy and cruddy as i expect

Anyway...

Yeah, I rather like it how they handled it, although I have yet to sit down and play so I can't give a full opinion until then. Still, it's pretty comprehensive and very interesting.

Plus there are lightsabers.

I'm gonna try and convince my parents that for fisnihingt my exams i should get a big hefty heap of d&d stuff
i'm not sure if it work, afterall finishing exams means very little, getting good grades is a different matter :)
but for that i would have to wait a very long time

okay.... so this is a little behind the times... but - SW (especially the Revised Rules) is very well done.

First - in case you haven't heard already they introduced a new Hit Point system - Vitality (think exhaustion) and Wounds.

Vitality is what powers force skills, and acts as typical HP. Wounds is your actual life points. Crits (same as d20 threat then crit) instead of doing double dice do damage straight to wounds. So crits can be deadly!

The classes provide a good mixture of the SW "feel", and there's just general goodness for all.

And if that's not enough for ya...

Plus there are lightsabers.

Yeah I quite like the starwars d20 game. Haven't played but glanced over the rulebooks. I actually downloaded the darkside handbook.....quite good if you want to be someone like darth maul........ :evil: ........can't wait for someone to hold an evil starwars game.
