Finally, I managed to get it working
As most of you have noticed, the site was down for the better part of the day (night in case you're a European :P). It was probably the worst case of bad luck ever. I went to upgrade the site (after feeling confident enough that it was working on my test site). The first problem was deleting the previous portal; somehow the files had became undeletable (for linux users: their ownership had been changed to 'nobody'). Second problem I encountered was that somehow I couldn't get the necessary vBulletin templates working (which resulted in a completely blank page). Third and most annoying problem: I got incredibly sick (fever, soar throat, headache). Logically that kept me from working on the site.
Anyway, all that is past now. The portal works (although I will have to finetune some parts to the change in environment - the test site is a windows server, this one on linux).
The board should function perfectly, but if you encounter a problem (anywhere on the site), I ask you to inform me so I can at least try to fix it :)
