Well it begins again, several of you may have seen I am trying to keep World aflame afloat, but other then that probably the other one is dying. I want to DM something low powerd for a change, FR level 1 or apprentice level, haven't decided, 15-18yo age range (assumeign human) Not sure on location probablly a small town. Nothing specific but near someplace for when you "grow up". If interested let me know.

Standard point buy (32)

Apprentice level, half starting gold (challenges will suite items/level)

All of you should be of the age that you are about to leave your mentors, assuming you have one. -250exp Small town about 10k people, going to say not far SE of Waterdeep, about 4 days walk.

Sticking with standardish humaniod races. unless you talk to me first assume standard FR races. Even then try to stick to teh normal side.

As a heads up, I changed the name of a class for my character. Trance instead of barbarian. Exactly the same as a barb, but replace rage with "Battle Trance". Essentially it's a civilized word for complete focus on combat. No actual changes to the class itself.

Yes so far Jedi, one problem Setzer, by the nature of the class barbs don't fit well in cities, and simply changing the name doesn't change the class, I forsee roleplayignand fittign in issues... As for the regional gear, no, not yet, it will be given to you by family or master or other way mroe appropriate to your PC, 300gp worth of stuff on teenagers just doesn't seam right...

by apprentice level archer you mean a fighter who is focused on ranged weapons right? IE makes a living hunting pheasan and other small birds right?:0) been around WAY to many power gamers lately...

Well by class sterotypes you mean the basic descriptions, yes. There are PrCs that duplicate the Barbs abilities in many ways in a more civalized function as such I wont allow one to modify the basic class. Yes of course you can play shyntar. 4-6 is usually a good size and you make 4.
