Post your dice rolls here using this code:

XdY+Z

For example, to roll 3 ten-sided dice, you would type:

/3d10 (without the first "/")

For more info, check out the FAQs: http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/faq.php?faq=general#faq_dm_mod

Also, try to tag your rolls for clarity. Try to follow this format, or at least include all of this info in the post:

Type of dice roll (Hacking, Stealth, Perception, etc.)
Size of dice pool, and what attribute//skill//equipment you are using
Which round of an extended roll this is (if applicable)
*the roll*
Total hits from this roll
Total hits from all previous rounds of extended roll (if applicable)

The last two bits after the roll will have to be edited in, since you don't know the roll results until after you hit "submit." As stated in the FAQs, you can't edit a dice roll, or add a dice roll to a post through an edit (to prevent cheating).

Example of a roll post:

Dietrich's Perception roll:

Wits (3) + Composure (2) = 5 dice

28 (1 5 5 8 9)

2 hits

EDIT: as another option, you can roll your d10 separately to make them easier to read, but I won't make you do this.

I should have clarified: the -2 means -2 dice from the dice pool, not -2 from the sum of the rolls. I'll just take the first 2 numbers you rolled in that set and use those.

1 hit

Landis scrapes his way through the forest, crossing the river and entering the limits of Port Elizabeth after 2 days. He is hungry and tired, but driven to survive. He begins to feel a curious hunger, far more compelling than any drug addiction. The beast within calls for blood.

Val, because you successfully Han-Solo'd under the table, you will get to go in a surprise round. Roll your DEX+Firearms. If you have additional abilities you are using, list them with the roll.

I see 2 successes in there, and the baddie gets no defense since he was taken by surprise. Rather than draw this out with unnecessary damage calculations and the like, we'll just say you got him, and he is down. The manner of how is up to you - write it up and I will respond with the rest of the baddies.

That is a dramatic failure, which results in your character entering frenzy. The Beast overcomes you, sensing the intruding creature in your Haven, and compels you to destroy it.

In addition, a dramatic failure results in a derangement, which in this case I have decided will be paranoia regarding your haven. While there, you suffer -2 to all social rolls, and will take severe penalties to resist frenzy when other, lower vampires are there. Add this derangement to you character sheet.

4 hits, so you learn the following:

There were likely six or seven vandals, which made no attempt to be overly quiet. They used a large pair of wire cutter to cut through the fence, then broke into the building by breaking down the maintenance door with a sledgehammer. They stole some paraphernalia and threatened the orderlies on duty that night, abusing one and raping another.

They caused general havoc and then doused the records office with gasoline, destroying it. The doctors reported that all damage was limited to the first floor, and none of the patients were harmed or are unaccounted for. One of the criminals sprayed a gang sign on the side of the side of the building: the word "Karnal" in stylized tribal font.
