Hello everyone! I've been out of the game (pardon the pun) for a while now due to a lack of face to face gamers in my area, but the desire to play finally overwhelmed me. I still haven't been able to find a tabletop group, but this is the next best thing. I heard some great things about this site, and I thought I'd try it out. So. Here I am, and I'm looking for some games to join. I've only got the books for D&D 3.5, Star Wars (D20 and Saga D20), and Lord of the Rings (Decipher), so I'd prefer one of those. If anyone is running one of those games and needs a player, or if someone would like to GM one and start from scratch, I'd love to join. Please and thank ye. I look forward to gaming with you all!

Well I've got openings in my D&D 3.5 and there is a Starwars game Anas is trying to get going. My D&D game is called conspiracy (http://online-roleplaying.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1744) and you can look at some of what I've got going at the moment

Right on. I'll check 'em out. Thanks for the heads up! I'm a night owl, so I'll probably PM you in a few about the D&D game.

It's easy to run out of PM box room without noticing it with the limit of 70 shared between both your inbox and outbox. I usually find it's a lot easier to discuss things in threads.

Really? Hmm, thanks for the advice. I'll keep that in mind.

Plus everyone else can watch your conversation if you have it in a thread.

Hmm, so everyone can stay up to date on all the drama and intrigue? Sounds good to me.

Well that and staving off boredom at work while avoiding posting in my own games.

Ah, it all becomes clear now. One way or another this is a distraction and a relief from an otherwise dull real world.

On the downside the moderators can do whatever they want your posts in threads.

I got plenty of openings in my Post-Apocalyptic RP. I just posted a thread for it in this very forum.
