I started reading it and this cortex system is actually pretty solid and different, for one it doesn't use physical stats everything is social stats yeah pretty intriguing huh? Abilities(Super powers) and other gadgets can be made fairly easily since they are all stories based (as in don't worry much about stats and describe what the ability does).
You can even check other reviews online, I was pleasantly surprised, now I would love to play one smallville game one of those days.
