I saw this idea on a writer's site somewhere and thought I'd start a thread here.
The premise is simple. Ramble on and add it together with others ramblings.
Ready?
Set?
Go!

Insights, side roads in a car with not headlights in the peak of night... the sky like my soul is devoid of light.
See if you can see past these words I write, Open your mind - it's between the lines, expand your sights.
Deep, on the short bus on the short line, take a look into these depths, this darkness of my mind.
Don't step on the gnomes - that's the only crime - here on the jello-brick road; ready to explore time?

Chronicals of wandering thoughts - A web made from this paper, my pen and my right hand.
It lets a few flies still fly through, though I catch enough still to write my songs and my blues.
Incomplete epics of times not long past - Somedays I'm stuck and stumped on one little line.
Other days I wake and take as a good sign - That I can rhyme today,
Slow or fast, would it matter if I were to fall,
Do I have a legacy to leave to my kids, rather will I have any kids to leave a legacy to at all.
Besides my Faith I tend to beleive not, I'm missin' the other half of me - I'll forever be lost.
The results of a tragedy, stuck and double fucked - In these mists of insanity.

The fibres of my being call me here,
but I have no profound words to share.
I'd love to stay, and chat in verse;
I'm late for the class on U.S. Gov'ment!
So maybe soon I shall return,
But till that time, I shall adjourn.

The wandering hero, he does return,
Though laden is he with earlier due dates...
And yet he comes from playing piano,
A joyfully mind-emptying task.
Tension wars with Relaxation,
While Procrastination rears its head.
There is no peace in the nomad's mind,
But then, there rarely ever is.
He leaves you with a parting word:
"Return."
