Sorry to post something other than a character sheet but I noticed the problem with lachlan's sheet, the feat agile maneuvers says to use his dex instead of strength modifier for his cmb, but the character sheet is not programmed to recongnize that, so we tried writing it in the size modifier box, I looked at his sheet just now and it was not there. I tried again to update it, but it won't save. Anyways for all intents and purposes his cmb should be 7, not 3 like the sheet says.

As promised here's Fizi's background. I didn't plan for it to be this long but I kinda got carried away.

Fizi, prior to becoming the sneaky and manipulative character he is today once lived a life of peace and solitude at a monastery where he was training in the art of the fist. Sadly, Fizi didn’t exactly have a choice in the matter. When he was an infant he was left there on their door step. Clearly, his lessons never sank in…or perhaps he took too many punches to the head.
Late one night after a hard day of training Fizi(at the age of seven) woke up to a loud voice.
“Hey , Gnome! Over here!”
Fizi looked around his room but didn’t see anything. Thinking that perhaps he was just dreaming he laid back down and closed his eyes.
“Damnit, I said come over here, Shorty.” Fizi’s eyes shot open at the sound of the voice and he hesitantly hopped out of his bed.
“Who’s there?” The little gnome cried out with fear of the unknown in his voice.
“Down here.” The voice cried out from underneath the bed. Fizi knelt down and peaked under the bed. To his surprise there was nothing there outside of an old smelly sock that he misplaced. Fizi rose again to look around some more. As soon as he turned his back to the bed he heard the voice again.
“You idiot I said down here!” Fizi knelt down again and looked at the sock which of course remained motionless on the ground.
“Um…did you just…talk?” The confused gnome asked.
“Either that or you’re hearing voices, kid. Now how about helping me out and giving me some eyes. Go grab those buttons off of that shirt over there.”
Fizi quickly got up and ran over to where the shirt was. Doing as the sock asked he ripped off the buttons and grabbed a needle and thread and sewn the two brown buttons on the sock. Fizi then put his hand in the sock and stared at its face.
“That’s better! Stick with me, Kid. Mr. Beble will take you places in this world. Bwahahaha.” The socks lips moved as Fizi spoke out of the corner of his mouth.
The door to Fizi’s room then creaked open. One of the monks stood in the doorway. When he spoke it was quiet apparent that he was still half asleep.
“Is everything okay in here, Fizi?”
“Yes, sir. I’m just talking to my new friend, Mr.Beble.” The young gnome held up the sock puppet then opened its mouth as if grinning.
The monk let out a sigh and started to close the door.
“Go to sleep Fizi. You have much training to do tomorrow.”
Years passed and Fizi and Mr.Beble soon became best friends. The other monks didn’t think much of it. They only thought it would be a phase. However, one day, now at the age of ten Fizi and Mr.Beble were taking a break after a martial arts lesson under a tree. Both the gnome and the sock puppet turned their heads and from across the field saw several handmaidens carrying baskets of fruit into the monastery.
“So Fizi…” The sock puppet paused for a moment, taking in the view of the handmaidens, whom appeared to be much older than Fizi…at least eighteen.
“Are you into H.I.LFs? BWAHAHAHAHA!” the puppet let out a sinister chuckle. Fizi with a look of confusion on his face let his gaze slip from the girls and looked to Mr.Beble.
“Um…what’s a H.I.L.F?” he asked.
“Well…” Pausing once again the sock puppet brought his mouth up to the gnomes ear and whispered something. The gnome’s eyes widened and his face turned bright red with embarrassment.
“Let’s go Fizi. Let me show you how it’s done.” Mr.Beble said with confidence and a smile on his wool face. Fizi rose and ran over to the building where the handmaidens were taking the baskets of fruit.
Fizi peeked through the doorway and eyed the room. He noticed a group of handmaidens moving into another room to the right. His eyes shifted to his left where he saw a lone handmaiden bent over picking up some fruit she clearly dropped.
“Over there!” Mr.Beble whispered. The two then quietly moved up behind her unnoticed.
“Excuse me.” The handmaiden(whom was human) was slightly startled by the voice behind her. She stood up and turned around.
“AHEM! Down here…” the voice said with a tone of annoyance. The young girl turned around and giggled at the sight of the little gnome with a sock puppet. She knelt down to the gnome’s level and smiled.
“What are you doing here little one?”
Fizi just stared at her with a big goofy grin…drool coming out of the corner of his mouth. Then he moved Mr.Beble’s mouth.
“Miss, we have a question for you…”
“Uh…okay.”
“Are you from outer space?”
The young girl blinked and was reluctant to answer at first.
“Um…no…why?”
“‘Cuz, baby your ass is outta this world!”
The handmaiden’s eyes widened before narrowing on the little gnome. Before either the gnome or the sock could smirk the girl rose to her feet and punted them both across the room.

That night, after a long meeting it was decided that Fizi be banished from the monastery. The monks kicked him out with nothing but a backpack full of rations, a buffalo skin filled with water, the clothing on his back and a dirty old sock puppet.

Now, an adult, Fizi has been taught well by the cruelty of the streets and has found his way to shell 4 in hopes of making a fortune off the weak.


1. What brings your character to shell 4?
Money,women, and loot.
2. What goals do you have for your character?
To obtain lots loot.

3. It is generally accepted by the populace that the world could be “fixed” to the way it once was. But the results of that “fix” could range from nothing to catastrophic. If you had the power to do this would you?
I’d fix it if there was lots of loot involved. Otherwise, no.

3B. If given a chance to join one of these Cults/Groups that are trying to fix the world to the way it once was would you help them? or ignore them? or try and stop them?
See #3.

4. Because not everything goes as planned in life, what would your greatest weakness be? (could range from social skills to combat to cooking anything really, everyone sucks at something)
The willpower to not steal loot.

5. Upbringing is key in life, and often determines how we are as adults. What sort of outlook on life and its happenings as well as attitude does your character have.
If it’s shiny, It’s mine.

6. You watch a man mug an old women and make off with a rather large amount of money, but later you run into that same man again, this time however, the two of you are alone what would you do?
Stab him and take the money for myself. Then buy some loot with said money.

If you are this far along in your character creation and have filled out the other questions this one is your “reward” question.

7. Do you like magical items?
Yes. SHINY magical items.

7B. During your travels most people tend to find things, magical things, tell me about the thing you found. IE what is it and what does it do? And how did you find it? (GM note, you may have any above average magical item but please keep it within reason. I do have the “NO bat” so please don’t make me use
Hat of magical disguise - Mr.Beble and I stole this from a merchant while we were passing through town. I ended up using it to infiltrate the mansion of a baron(under the guise of a guard) and make off with a large amount of his wealth…which I mostly spent on alcohol and women.

Bag of tricks – I obtained the bag of tricks from some punk kid who was using it to bully some half-elf by threatening to pull a wolverine out of the bag. I followed the kid home one night, stabbed him in the ankle and then grabbed the bag of tricks as he squirmed around on the ground in pain. Afterwards, I showed him how the bag of tricks worked. Unfortunately instead of being eaten by a wolverine he was instead trampled by the rhino that I pulled out of the bag. Afterwards I found the half-elf kid and fed him to a badger that I pulled out of the bag.
Dust of disappearance – I bought this from a merchant…then an hour later robbed him and got my money back.

1. What brings your character to shell 4? (this could be anything, feel free to be creative when answering this, so long as your charactrer ends up at shell 4.) Abandoned by our transport to shell 3

----------I like the Money, Power, and Shiny Objects part.

3. It is generally accepted by the populace that the world could be “fixed” to the way it once was. But the results of that “fix” could range from nothing to catastrophic. If you had the power to do this would you?
--------In the event that the world could be fixed.....What would I get? Maybe. But I would make sure everyone was looking and that i would get a ridiculous amount of loot/gold.

3B. If given a chance to join one of these Cults/Groups that are trying to fix the world to the way it once was would you help them? or ignore them? or try and stop them? ----Again depends on the reward.

Andelus grew physically as any other boy. Showed promise in his schooling, was raised to be fair, in all things to taught that all laws have a purpose. When the other children were playing, Andelus was testing his limits with his surrounding environment. He learned that the relaxation of others was his opportunity to move ahead of the rest and become more. Disciplining himself to exceed the accomplishments of his peers.


Adranos Reggad, father of Andelus, was among the leading researchers into the more advanced an tactically superior combat arms to be made available to the armed forces. Although his influence in the renown "Spellstone Cannons" and their power was relatively small, he had his part in the development of them. To this day he will still say that they would be better had they listened more to his thoughts on the matter, "Nobles and their arrogance" he would say. Adranos finally returned to is private shop to live out his life as a creator of exotic weapons.


Driven by his father's work, Andelus showed a fervent interest in the spellstone technology. When he had come of age he decided to join the House of Merjonos, or the service. His record setting skill at the use of long ranged combat, as well as his outstanding service record quickly escalated him the the post of Sergeant at Arms, upon the H.M.S. Valiance, a highly respected position. The H.M.S. Valiant being one of the most powerful ships in the Chosen arsenal. Andelus had seen many places in his travels to the other shells. Many top secret, of the upmost importance, and for reasons above his paygrade.


Andelus had enjoyed being on a ship, to be in the crow's nest and to feel the cold wind against his face. His glorious military career was forced to a screeching halt when the decision had been made to dishonorably discharge and exile him. You see when upon his final mission, the decision had been made by the captain to break formation to gain a tactical advantage on our enemy. Doing so brought a quick and glorious victory over a formidable foe. However the decision to break formation, while tactically sound, was a violation of the doctrine of our military forces. That was all it took, well that and the politics of an arrogant yet powerful noble who had a grudge with the Captain.(For reasons best explained by the Captain.)


Long story short, all the leading officials upon the H.M.S. Valiance, were discharged and some exiled.(Depending on their opinion of the infraction.) While on his way to shell three Andelus had been abandoned by his transport and left on shell 4. He and his former Captain seek to restore their honor and good standing reputation among the Chosen people. To do this, they must prove that the decision made was if fact much harsher than needed. So their primary goal is to attain a ship. The Captain has reason to believe that the has been one hidden on shell 3.

The rest is a story still being written....

Lachlan,

Upon reviewing you character sheet I discovered a discrepancy. As a gnome you receive a +2CON,+2CHA,-2STR, coming out to a +2 altogether. Also, upon advancing to 4th, 8th, 12th, etc., level, you get a bonus +1 to any attribute. We were allotted 16 points with a base 10, which means a total of 19 points to spend. If I am mistaken, and there is more that I do not see, please inform me. If not, just looking out.:)
