"Please sit down Captain," the Patrician says as Vimes enters his office. He sits down at a nearby chair across from the Patrician's desk. "Now I know you are a busy man Captain, so let's get right to the point." He holds up the newspaper, which has a very large heading on the front page:

CARAVAN ATTACKED INSIDE CITY GATES
ORGANIZED HEIST CATCHES WATCH OFF GUARD
WATCH CAPTAIN SAYS NOBODY IS SAFE

Captain Vimes takes a deep breath, the calm before the storm.

"I must say I was quite surprised, as I'm sure your men were. What I am having trouble understanding Captain is how your men were instantly overpowered by a small force of unarmed theives, and how said thieves were able to make off with but a single item in the convoy - which so happened was intended for me, a rather important gift from a dear friend of mine."

"Perhaps if you had informed us that you had a special package being delivered in the convoy we could have taken additional precautions," Vimes says trying change the topic slightly.

"Perhaps," the Patrician says, "Perhaps." He picks up the newspaper and tosses it into a nearby garbage can beside the desk. "Very well Captain, I'm sure you have other duties to attend to." The Patrician then starts reading some reportings awaiting his attention on the desk until Vimes stands up and leaves without saying another word.

A few minutes pass by and he picks up another document and snorts out a brief laugh. "Perhaps it's time for something new."

This is a Discworld campaign, set in the city of Ankh-Morpok.

It would be ideal if you were familiar with Discworld, but not required. Don't worry about having the rules for BESM, as I'll have to work with each player to build their character and make it fit with the campaign.

You will be able to play anything. Whether it's a Golem, Werewolf, Banshee, City Watchman, Witch, Wizard, History Monk, or anything else from Discworld (or just about any other fantasy setting that can be played in a humorous way).

Discworld? Bleh. I'd rather play Sailor Moon.

We'll see what happens, whichever game generates the most interest. I would rather run the anime one but we'll see who wants to play what and go from there.
