Gaze upon the hall of past heros and marvel at the odd trend where winners end up joining Team Admin. Could you be the next WhoNaN, BigRedRod, LeeCHeSSS, Noocytx, Gralhruk or undefeated three time champion itches? No? Well you're being realistic, but why not enter anyway.
The rules are simple and I'lll run through them here for those who are new or have forgotton:- For one week from the time of this post, nominations will be open.
- You can only nominate yourself,
- Your avatar can be anything (provided it's appropriate for this site i.e. no vulgar pictures),
- The avatar need not be your own creation
- You can't re-enter an avatar that has already won (this removes all of Team Admin except BRR)
- And don't change your avatar once you have nominated yourself
Amazingly these very same rules were found on the dead sea scrolls. Remember to include a six word or less description or I'll make one up for you. I may do that anyway, because I hate all living things.
Once the nominations are collected they will be placed in a poll that will remain open for another seven days (my time), at the end of which the winner will be announced (for those who have trouble understanding what the pretty-coloured-lines and numbers mean) and given their ceremonial bragging rights - we suggest putting the phrase "Winner of the 2010 Coolest Avatar Award™" in your signature.

March 30th is the official One-Year Anniversary of my taking the helm of Online-Roleplaying. One whole year where I didn't manage to mess things up too badly. No one is more amazed than me.
I'd like to take this moment to thank Team Admin for all their effort in keeping this place running - except for BigRedRod and Gralhruk. Those two are holding the rest of the team back and once I find someone else to work for free you guys are so banned.
I'd also like to take this moment to let everyone know that the pixellated characters to equip and battle with will be ready any day now. I swear. Would I lie to you?

What? You're roleplayers, use your imagination!
Oh fine. Apparently when we shifted ownership we neglected to give me control to update the nameservers. It worked fine under Danny's old account, until the system noticed that he didn't own any online-roleplaying.com URL and removed it. It then took me 24 hours to work out what was wrong because of the time it hit and that I'm a newb.
Also, I was trying to avoid posting in my games.

Well it's the New Year. In the closing stages of 2009 Orp had a few server related problems, downtime, DNS issues, that mysterious 18 hour period that apparently didn't exist.
Well I'm going to put all of that behind us and find a better way forward for this site. My resolution for 2010 is to find a believable scapegoat that I can pin all of the problems on while remaining free take credit for all the good things that happen.
That is my promise to you in this New Year.
